Greetings! Anyone have some good tip on writing dispatches?

Das Inselreich wrote:Greetings! Anyone have some good tip on writing dispatches?

The only real advice we have is to make sure dispatches have a focus and a reason to exist. It might be to explain lore, log an account of the past, or describe ongoing events, but maintaining focus is a good way to ensure dispatches make sense.

What's the difference between dispatches and factbook

Nioya wrote:What's the difference between dispatches and factbook

The difference is in the names themselves. A dispatch can be thought of as a bit of information to be distributed widely. This may be something like an update in an ongoing war or a newly elucidated historical finding. A factbook is more a semi-permanent encyclopedia article. There is certainly overlap as dispatches can be referential, much like a factbook, and nothing is stopping a factbook entry from being a mere account of current events, but we find the above distinction to be popular, if not universal.

Why are my percentages missing

Ok. I've seen some people have really professional-looking dispatches with uploaded pictures to make it more professional. How can I start experimenting with that? Is it a feature one pays for?

Those features are available to everyone! The best place to start is here:
