If anyone just saw me boosting a random WASec candidate, I didn't realize that was a region thing from appearance permissions and not a me-thing. But apparently it is. Woopsie daisy!

Logged in and my inbox is full to the brim with WA election telegrams, even deleted all the previous read telegrams. Brutal.
I skimmed the platforms and I don't think there's anyone in particular to support at this point. Seems like a reasonable mix already holding the top so I cast my personal vote for one of the smaller vote-share candidates. At this point the regional government suggestion is feel free to vote your conscience if you still haven't and can.

On a different topic, the flag poll has concluded and 4-0 decision the current flag will remain in place until the next flag contest in autumn. Big thanks to The Ice Bears for the alternative proposal, though.

I thought the existing flag was the best choice it matched the banner colours better and was also a better size to fit in with the existing banner

Is this a good time to say how I was thinking that after the flag contest we could have the first ever banner contest? Just to shake things up a bit and replace the one I haphazardly made once and still has "november 2024" on it. Although I'm not sure if anyone is interested given the flag contest input.

Also, so far only Blaenavon has expressed interest in the Constitutional Amendments Workgroup. Certainly room for more. Just throwing it out there that work won't begin immediately and the schedule is flexible to work with people's summer plans (including my own).

Oh, that's why I have seventeen notifications and nineteen unread telegrams all of a sudden...

'Hello Citizen!
Yes, another annoying Telegram. Silence at once Scallywag

Against all odds, I'm in Round 2 and actually Made Rank 10 - thank you for your Trust.

I still promise free pet penguins—but I've also written a real campaign explaining why I think smaller regions deserve a stronger and especially real voice, not just one by big regions.

GLORY TO PENGUTAN!
Glory to the Nations!'

It's a pity that I didn't get to see the events unfold, although I vaguely recall appreciating Moduland's resolutions in the past.

It seems that they're trying to make the WA more 'user friendly'. I can see the need for this as it was often quite a minefield if you wanted to truly understand the merits of a resolution without expending huge amounts of time, and I would imagine that's how it felt to most players, who aren't very dedicated to the organisation (those who are blow my mind). Perhaps some of the very devoted WA contributors will not appreciate the simplification, however.

Re Banner could you just remove the lettering? or we could have a contest I'm sure we could get enough to trigger a vote

I think just removing the lettering sounds good

The solution to this is a tentative banner contest!

Want to be the author of the next Arctic visual? Receive fame and glory unlimited by the "6 months, maybe more" deadline of the flag?
Make a 1200x120px visual that represents the region and send me a link of it by 16 July.

From my side I'm submitting current banner without text. If there's any other entries then we'll vote on them. If none appear then that's fine too, I'll just put the blank iceberg image up.

The Ice Bears is ranked 2,989th in the world and 1st in Arctic for Highest Unexpected Death Rate, that's getting quite high now

Warmest (or coldest, I should say) greetings from the LDA!
