The Gazette of Mitteluropa
October 2026
Fast News
A quick-read segment
1. Alphus Imperium has returned, and his nation in RP has been reborn.
2. The Head Executive Minister Rheinmetall AG has pushed through many reforms this month.
3. October 30th is Z-Day once again.
4. Activity returns to Mitteleuropa.
5. We have a new newspaper.
The Most Important
Great changes in the constitution
October has witnessed significant constitutional changes that redefine our politics and system of government, which are detailed below:
1. The size of the cabinet was reduced to make our government more efficient.
2. The positions of Regional Commissioner Minister and Public Relations Minister were merged into the newly created Internal Affairs Minister.
3. The position of Vice Executive Minister was eliminated, meaning that if the head of government is unable to perform their duties, elections will be automatically called.
4. Ministers will no longer be elected by the citizens; they will be appointed by the Head Executive Minister.
These changes reflect a profound transformation of our political system and a transition toward a more efficient and centralized government, which we believe will be the beginning of a new age for Mitteleuropa. We do not yet know what the future holds, but we are optimistic.
National
New ministers and new laws
Elections are always important, and this month has been full of them. Between new ministers and constitutional amendments, October 2026 will go down in history as a turning point, marking a before and after in our politics.
First, Aeterna Respublica won the election for Internal Affairs Minister (IAM) by a landslide, securing his place in the new government.
Second, after almost three years with Lengelt-Abysselia in charge of Mitteleuropa diplomacy (to whom we are grateful for his long and outstanding service), we have elected Zaharial as the new Minister of Foreign Affairs (FAM).
Third, we have made several constitutional amendments to reinstate ministries and elections, meaning that the recent elections for IAM and FAM are the last in our history, as from now on ministers will be appointed.
The election records are detailed below:
Given all of the above, it is clear that this month has been very active in politics; we can only wait to see what the next few months will bring.
Regional Culture
Rediscovering History: A Reencounter with the Past
Our region has over three years of history, and we've been through a lot. We've had multiple governments, and that's something to celebrate. It's important to honor the past, and a good way to do that is by compiling as much information as possible about what happened here.
That's why we've started by compiling a record of all the ministers we've had since our founding, which is detailed below:
We're also working on finding relevant data about our past, and I have to thank Alphus Imperium for his help in reconstructing the beginnings of this wonderful region. With his help, and with everyone who wants to contribute to this project, we'll be publishing more information about the past and thus keeping the memory of Mitteluropa alive for many more years.
