Ingredients

For the sausage & sauce:
6 hot dog sausages
1 tablespoon oil
1/2 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tomatoes, chopped (or 1 cup canned crushed tomatoes)
2 tablespoons tomato sauce
Salt and black pepper (to taste)
1/2 cup water
Optional: corn, peas, or diced bell peppers
For assembling:
6 hot dog buns
Potato sticks (batata palha)
Ketchup and mustard
Mayonnaise
Grated cheese (optional)
Mashed potatoes (optional but very Brazilian!)

How to Make
1. Prepare the sauce
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add chopped onion and sauté until soft.
Add garlic and cook for about 30 seconds.
Stir in tomatoes and tomato sauce.
Add water, salt, and pepper.
Let it simmer for about 5–10 minutes until slightly thick.
2. Cook the sausages
Add the sausages directly into the sauce.
Let them cook/simmer for about 5–7 minutes so they absorb the flavor.
3. Prepare the buns
Lightly warm the buns (optional but recommended).
4. Assemble the hot dog
Place one sausage in each bun.
Spoon plenty of sauce over it.
Add your toppings:
Potato sticks (essential crunch!)
Corn/peas if using
Cheese, mashed potatoes, sauces

Almost all of the nations here are owned my me so there's only one person checking in occasionally lol. I don't card farm anymore so I just make sure my nations don't cte. Maybe it will be more active :p I have the time to do things now
