Having served as Speaker, a key plank of my platform is to formalize the Senate's order and streamling its actions. I will do this by:
1) Codifying the Senate's Administrative Rules to include timing and reasoning mechanisms so that a bill languishes no longer than three weeks without being passed, failed, or withdrawn.
2) Creating a mechanism for Citizen Resolutions.
3) Exploring apportionment by continent and constitutional reform.
Due to the ongoing instability in the nation, highlighted by the attempted assassination of President Slater, The Plumage has decided NOT to run for the Tarkin Senate.

I had, of course, anticipated running in the next election. However, I will not be doing so, as I feel I could not adequately dedicate the time necessary to serve our region as it deserves.

- 1. Recruitment
Recruitment remains essential for Tarkin’s survival and vitality. We will continue the API recruitment system I developed this term while expanding it with targeted, personalized outreach. Working with the incoming Secretary of State, we will focus on attracting high-quality, active players—both on the forums and from declining regions—rather than pursuing growth for its own sake. Effective recruitment requires a balanced mix of methods, and that is what we will deliver.
2. Guidelines for RP
Tarkin’s role-play is one of its greatest strengths. This administration will fully respect the Curator’s authority and uphold the principle established in the RPGA: the Government should influence, but never dictate, RP. Overreach kills interesting storylines; complete inaction leaves the Government irrelevant. We will maintain the balance that lets RP thrive while still allowing the Government to make meaningful contributions.
3. Citizenship & Legal Clarity
There is a clear gap in the pathway to citizenship for new nations. We will work with the Senate to establish straightforward, practical guidelines that keep security intact without creating unnecessary barriers. We will also close other legal loopholes so Tarkin’s laws remain simple, clear, and secure.
4. Empowering Smaller Nations in RP
Smaller nations often feel overshadowed in RP. Drawing on ideas first raised by Dixiecratia and others, we will explore balanced ways for them to have real impact without the Government tilting the scales unfairly. We will collaborate with the Senate, Dixiecratia, and interested nations to develop and implement these approaches responsibly.
In every region I have served since 2010–2011, I have run the full range of experience—good decisions and hard lessons, leadership and quiet service. Those years, including my imperfect time in the Isles of Liberty, taught me more than any single success ever could. I am not a perfect leader, and I will not pretend otherwise. But I can say this with absolute certainty: the residents of Tarkin will never have reason to question my commitment to this region and to every one of you. That commitment is not a campaign line. It is a promise I will keep every single day—Presidency or not.

My goal remainsto facilitate government reform and decentralization of power, e.g., restricting the power of the government, except for the AG, to threaten legal action.
We also still need to develop our civil court system and codify our “crimes,” if any.
And we need new nations to lead. Not just the same few. We need fresh faces. Drain the Swamp in Tarkinnia!
In order to “drain the swamp,” we must vote against those who have refused to vote actively and have refused to vote for their own legislation in favor of playing politics and not representing all of us within the Region. I agree that we need more fresh faces. Unfortunately some of us who have spoke openly to “restrict the power of government” have written and voted on legislation to expand it. Some of us want results. Some of us want control and to play politics. I think history will show us all who those individuals have been.
