Remembering the Years Gone by
Tehran — It has been forty one years since His Late Majesty Shahansha Bahman Shah Qajar reclaimed the Iranian throne for the rightful Qajar dynasty, with the blessing of Ayatollah Khomeini, Qaddasa Allahu Sirrahu. 1985 would mark the year of his rise, in the midst of the war against Saddam Hussein, which was carried further and further to complete victory under his leadership. His son, His Majesty Shapur Shah remembers his father’s return from exile in Europe, to where the Pahlavi usurpers had pushed them in 1925. Born in Switzerland, His majesty Shapur Shah could only see his homeland in its glory in 1988, when the tides of war had been turned against the former invaders, and Iraq was being liberated from the hands of Saddam Hussein. His Majesty walked on his father’s footsteps, liberating Syrians from their tyrant in 2008, a year after his coronation, and bringing them into the Persian fold, where they receive protection and tolerance as God intended.
His Majesty’s usurped ancestor, His Great Grandfather Ahmed Shah Qajar, rests badly in the memories of Iranians, as his short reign ended in his removal by Reza Pahlavi, in 1925. It is an admitted fact that his ancestors carried on a divisive legacy, with many seeing them as weak rulers who bent down to foreign powers, and squandered the wealth of the people. Others consider them mere victims of the circumstances of being prey to the powerful European Empires of Britain and Russia. Whatever the history may be, it is known too that the Qajar emperors are no longer weak, and that they only bow to God and their people.
It is the transformation that Eranshahr has undergone under the leadership of His majesty, and His Excellency the President, that proves to us that the future is as God intended. The Iranian economy has grown to pass 800 billion dollars, and would rise further as the nation expands trade and improves industry and energy production. Petroleum products will remain the main export for the near future, though His Excellency the President has spoken of the transition to renewable and nuclear energy for the future of Iranian energy consumption, leaving oil reserves greatly available for the export market.
We have chosen this moment to remind you of what has come, and what’s to come, as His Majesty appeared in front of camera for the first time in months, confirming that his health is improving after the period of uncertainty. Furthermore, the Golestan Palace has confirmed reports of the return of Her Royal Highness Princess Soraya Khanum, following her education in Europe, though she is yet to reappear in the public eye.

The humid morning air of Nanjing clung to Willem-Jan de Graaf’s formal uniform as he stepped out of the diplomatic vehicle. The newly appointed Dietch ambassador smoothed his lapels, looking up at the grand neoclassical facade of the Presidential Palace.
Nanjing felt alive with a restless, modern energy. Ever since President Since An-lo was elected earlier this year, the Republic of China was eager to solidify its partnerships. The Dietslands wanted to be right at the forefront of that shift.
Willem-Jan walked through the grand corridors, guided by silent protocol officers. The double doors of the audience chamber swung open, revealing a sunlit room decorated with the blue and red national colors. Standing at the far end of the room was the President himself.
Willem-Jan stepped forward, bowing respectfully as he approached.

A portrait of Chiang Kai-shek was hung on the wall behind the President, the portrait would have two flags of the Republic besides it.
“It has been a long time since a European Diplomat has been on Chinese land, you have broken that. I admire it.”
An-lo smiled, he held a glass in one hand full of a colorless liquid. Drinking it bit by bit after he spoke.

IPCNL welcomes Dietch Queen

The Institute for the Protection and Conservation of Nature and Life (IPCNL), recently established by academics and Her Royal Highness The Princess Eleanor, has elected The Queen-Regnant of 
The Habsburgian Dietslands as its Royal Patron. Her Majesty was privately contacted by the institute’s secretary, Mr Coleridge, and HDM’s private secretary informed that The Queen-Regnant would graciously accept.
The Queen-Regnant is not expected to take on an active role within the Institute where it concerns decisions of fund allocation, research projects, or personnel matters. However, she will be a representative for the institute on the global stage and will give an annual speech at the awarding of the IPCNL Award for the Promotion of Life, which comes with £ 2 million. It is further rumoured that The Queen-Regnant and the Dietch government have pledged to support the IPCNL financially, though no funds have been confirmed yet.
Willem-Jan offered a respectful nod, taking in the President's relaxed demeanor.

“I am really glad, if I may say, that a relatively influential European nation has come to visit us in Nanjing.” His smile still remained.
An-lo turned, going to a seat, next to the main one, of the conference room, like it was reserved for someone. Sitting down, he would continue to stare at the ambassador.
Government to ban personalised AIs

The Home Secretary (Mrs Dorothea Leamington) and the Science & Technology Secretary (Dr Walter Glanville) have jointly introduced a Bill in the House of Commons which seeks to restrict the use of so-called companion AIs. Users can personalise these forms of artificial intelligence, after which these forms portray themselves as human, with companies offering online dating services, delivery services, mental health support, and more.
The Government is concerned that a significant group of the population will put themselves at financial and other risks because of these AIs. For example, some people spend a monthly fee for special services, such as the delivery of presents. Others, the Government argues, are vulnerable because of the 'emotional' bond that they create with the AI over time, isolating themselves even further from social activities in the real world. It is for these reasons that the Government decided to take action.
If the Bill is approved of by both Houses of Parliament, companies may no longer offer the creation of personalised AI characters to users under the age of 30. The same prohibition will apply for those who are registered as a mental health patient, or who have been so registered in the last five years. Those to whom the option may be offered will be protected as well: AIs must explicitly remind their users that they are not human at least every 30 minutes.
If companies do not comply with the new rules, fines up to 8% of the global annual turnover of the (parent) company may be imposed by Home Department and courts. Directors (or equivalent position holders) may also be held personally liable for damages caused if a personalised AI is offered to a protected person. Structural violations may even result in criminal prosecution and the app being completely banned.
The Bill will be discussed in Parliament later this month. It is expected to be passed without many alterations, as it has so far gained broad support from both the Government backbenches and the main opposition parties.
