The nation can run with or without the leader's hand, but it would be quite inefficient.
Can't go wrong with G'Day!
Quite positive, though we are girt by water so we don't have any neighbours within a pretty decent radius
The Golden-Tufted Lorikeet is the most endangered species in Xarikistan, due to climate change and capture for the exotic pet trade (the latter of which has been illegal for a number of decades, but poachers still get caught occasionally trying to smuggle them out). Climate change causes them to lay eggs earlier in spring, before the lorikeet wattle tree (the primary food source for the species when raising chicks) has fully bloomed, resulting in parents being unable to find enough easily-digestible food for their chicks.
There are currently about 20 pairs in zoos around the country, a population just shy of a hundred animals in a small island conservation centre (both of these populations are extensively managed by genetic studbooks), and a wild population that fluctuates between 20-30 birds, with conservation efforts underway.
Haven't talked in here for a while.
