Also: oh my, new game mechanics. Do we want the WAD to retain the ability to cast our votes as a region? I've never done it before when I was guarding this position (as opposed to holding it intentionally) but now there are potentially statistical Consequences if you want to exercise power, which I find intriguing.
Yes, you'll need to accept 80% of GA Resolutions in order to keep your voting rights once the threshold is activated.
Fortunately, our founding ideals of National and Regional Sovereignty have become the dominant mainstream ideology of game. Gatesville would be proud, we've defeated the old GA. Our allies are members of the Sovereign Seven, which has helped lead the repeals in the old General Assembly, and it is now well placed in the WA Secretariat, with TWP Delegate Varanius now serving as General-Secretary. You can trust his NatSov orientation in his Secretariat Dispatches when considering your vote.
Efforts are being made to provide a National Sovereigntist foundation of early GA Resolutions, that will help give a cushion for nations to be able to easily accept these early Resolutions. That will help with meeting the 80% compliance needed to keep your vote in the GA for the future.
I shouldn't forget to mention the MGC, Modern Gameplay Compact, which wrote many of the repeals before the end of the old GA, and have also been working to help draft these early Resolutions for the new GA.
It's interesting, that after all these years of being an Independent region, post The Schism of 2006, that defenders and raiders alike have become ineffective in modern NS. Independent regions and organizations now dominate gameplay.
Many of Equilism's decades old positions are now dominant game wide. Congratulations, Equilism!
P.S..... I think it went unnoticed that a former Equilism Townhall Mayor currently serves as a Warden of The Outback. Add another GCR to Equilism's legacy.
