Saint Margaret Mary Regional Message Board

Good and Gentle God,
we pray in gratitude for our mothers and for all the women of theory who have joined with you in the wonder of bringing forth new life.
You who became human through a woman, grant to all mothers the courage they need to face the uncertain future that life with children always brings.
Give them the strength to live and to be loved in return, not perfectly, but humanly.
Give them the faithful support of husband, family and friends as they care for the physical and spiritual growth of their children.
Give them joy and delight in their children to sustain them through the trials of motherhood.
Most of all, give them the wisdom to turn to you for help when they need it most.

A prayer for the murdered children.

God of love and life,
you gave these children to us as our sons and daughters. Give us now the assurance
that though they have passed from our sight,
they have not passed from your care.
Draw near to us in our sadness,
bring blessing out of grief,
and help us in our tears and pain
to know you are standing alongside us
and to experience your love and healing;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

With great joy we introduce our newest bishop, Bishop Charles, of Cretoia-Slrathria. He has been a great asset to the VRCC as our parish priest and as an evangelist. We're certain that he will continue to distinguish himself.

Congratulations, your eminence.

source of all freedom,
this day is bright with the memory of those that declared
that life and liberty are your gift to every human being.
Help us to continue a good work begun long ago.
Make our vision clear and our will strong;
that only in human solidarity will we find liberty,
and justice only in the honor that belongs to every life on earth.
Turn our hearts towards the family of nations:
to understand the ways of others,
to offer friendship,
and to find safety in the common good for all.
We ask this through Christ our Lord,

"Ok 😁Peace and All Good!
Today is the 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 (𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲) 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐟𝐭𝐡 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 (𝐈𝐈)"

Ahhhh, I don't see the squares, but I think I understand what you mean. It's actually text in a different font

Such as that on, "Today is the Secondday (Monday) of the Twelfth Week in Ordinary Time (II)." I guess it just doesn't render in yours?

new poll

I will be away for a long time, since school is starting.

But I want to share with you two ikons of God the Father

I just had a kind of reunion with the latter image. It's like I forgot that it is God the Father, but it is God the Father, and the drawing of the latter was shown after some visions from a Nun.

The first one I just thought it is kinda cool, since it is God the Father through our imaginations. And interesting about it is the colour white.

I think both images are really cool and I want to remind that life is not sad or boring or hell. Because we have a Father who made us, He who is All Good, Almighty, and is Our Father through Jesus Christ whom he begot. And the love that we see and cannot see, and feel and cannot feel; and the beauty of creation and it's complexity and intricacy; is just something that we should always remember, because it is good and joyful. God would want us to be happy.

A reading, Galatians 4:6, NRSVACE

And because you are children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, ‘Abba! Father!'

What father would not want us to call him affectionately as "Father," or "Papa," or whatever it is in our native tongue? What more is Our Father who Art in Heaven?
