is there an established system for amending WA legislation? I understand wanting to start out the new WA with some softball appealing legislation that everyone can mostly agree on but I really wish these things were taking harder stances that are harder to skirt around with careful word choice. Can a new law say for example "Building on resolution 404 and the precedent it sets, Recognizing a need for more legislation in 'x' field, Expanding on resolution 404's definition of 'y' to include 'z' etc." or would one have to first propose the repeal of the less strict resolution in order to introduce a stricter one?

I would argue that whatever system we are in, we are in uncharted territory now, our systems, no matter how totalitarian they have been, have always been run by humans. What happens when you have an alien intelligence running the bureaucracys of the world? At some point, humans cannot process the sheer amount of information it takes to genuinely control populations. AI, however, not only can handle gargantuan amounts of information–and I mean several orders of magnittudes larger than humans, it thrives off of it. It makes me wonder if AI will enable more totalitarian states and hinder democracies.
After 122 days of vacancy, Vashovia finally held bi-elections to fill the roles of the new transportation ministries that had split from the unified Ministry of Transportation, as well as to elect a new Minister of Trade after the resignation of Henry Cunningham June 18th. Fumio Mochizuki, the original Minister of the once unified Ministry of Transportation, will continue as Minister of Ground Transportation, while there is now two separate ministries for Maritime Transportation and Air Transportation.
In a shocking surprise, all elections were won by candidates running under the Progress Party of Natalie Ainsworth. This shows a slight weakening in the popularity of Brandon Koster's Vashovian People's Party government and it's coalition with the Vashovian Labor Party and Vashovian Green Party.
We would like to congratulate Darius Avery (Minister of Maritime Transportation), Myrna Seabrooke (Minister of Air Transportation), and Alexander Melnik (Minister of Trade) for winning their elections.
