Wintercrest is a Region on the left of NationStates, however, we are accepting of all people and ideologies, excluding Fascism and other bigots!
We have a few things that you can participate in:
Regular elections for the President and Justices
A legislative branch for citizens to join and make laws
Game night events
Internal Affairs positions open for all citizens!
Doing the following steps will ensure that you get the most out of NationStates and Wintercrest!

Most government activities of all three branches are on Discord, and most general activities are also on the Discord. There are still things to do out of the Discord, but not joining means you don't have access to joining government bodies, including the Popular Assembly.
The Popular Assembly is the legislative body of the region. It proposes and votes on laws, treaties, and embassies!
There are three steps to joining the Popular Assembly. The first is joining the discord.
The second is Joining the World Assembly and endorsing the Chair of Presidential Security.
To join the World Assembly, you will have needed to provide NationStates with your email. If you did not do that, you can do so using this link: page=settings
Now, you can go to The World Assembly Page, found here: page=un
Click "Apply to join", then check your email for an email from nationstates. Click the link in that email, and you will be in the world assembly!
Finally, go to the bottom of the nation page for The Love-Filled Utopial Haven of Kharakhovistan (the nation name is a link), and click the "endorse" button!
The third requirement is a week of citizenship. Once you have been in the region for a week, contact the state assembly or administrators on discord, and they will add you to the Popular Assembly!
Note: the 7 day timer starts when you first join the region, not when you join the discord!
Now that you have gone through everything, you can now join the Executive Branch. Joining one of these is a good way to give your political career in Wintercrest a head start, as you show your strengths to the other members of the region!
There are two districts you can join!

Governor of Internal Affairs: Vacant The Internal Affairs Branch manages the following things: If you join, you will not be forced to do all of these things. You are able to work at your own rate, on what you feel is most engaging for you! This is the perfect place to start for new people! |
Vice-President: Vacant The external affairs branch is in charge of managing relations with our allies, joining this would likely have you in an ambassador position, communicating with other regions, and relaying important info to the State Assembly |
