Population grows overtime you don't have any control other than just to keep playing the game.

Populism just sounds like democracy in my opinion.

I don’t dislike populism, it’s just when “populists” aren’t really populists. A example would be Tucker Carlson from Fox News.

For example, the 2017 tax cuts, Republicans said there tax cuts would help the middle class (including on parts of Tucker’s show) but the overwhelming amount of the tax cuts went to CEOS.

So what was “populist” Tucker Carlson talking about?

Racist trees.... I’m serious here’s the footage >> https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=s8PvHQqQxgU

He spent twice of the time on these “racist trees” than the tax cuts. And as I said before, those were supporting the tax cuts.

Isn't Trump a populist?

Well, it's a dictatorship. Convert to democracy, or go full 1984. The choice is yours.

Trump portrays himself as a Populist, mainly with his policies of Isolationism which is popular with the majority of voters. But a populist would be some to support policies that the majority of people do, like increasing tax on the majority of the population, nationalisation of key industry, anti war etc. In reality of course Trump wasn't on the side of the people
