Iran Regional Message Board
Loading...Hello everyone.
I have an important question: Which writing system suits more the Persian language? Is it Arabic, Latin or a revived Persian alphabet like Pahvali and Avestan?
Personally, I think the Latin script is the best suit for our language since it is more practical and serves de-Arabization/de-Turkification. But the problem it that Persian will lose its aesthetic and cultural value. Even if some Iranians say that it's going to disconnect us from our past, I would be very excited to forget our dark Islamic history.
Happy (Persian) New Year!
Halavaria and The national state of aryanistan
Hi. Thanks for letting me be here.
The Ordosocialist Internationale was sorry to learn that Iran has rejected our offer for embassies. Glancing over our respective WFE's we assume the point of contention is over our support for the standing Iranian regime and the Palestinian resistance against Israel. This in spite of our shared support for Ukraine against Russia. Thus, the Internationale wishes to make the following points clear:
1) Our empathies do lie with the dreams of many Iranian civilians to shake off their oppressive theocracy. Indeed, we compare the latent potential of the Iranian people to conduct a sorely-needed Revolution, against the mullahs, in contrast with the Israeli people. The latter are characterized by a rising Haredi demographic, which is currently battling to exempt its youth from conscription, to the point of toppling the wartime government. This, while they are the most fervent advocates of Israeli war aims, and pushing settler violence in the West Bank (defended by the very IDF they refuse to serve in, all the meanwhile).
2) We observe the conflict with Israel as the certain cornerstone of the mullahs' reigning ideology. The potential downfall of Israel would leave (in our opinion, perhaps flawed) a gapping hole in their continued effort to thwart democracy, under the primary argument of Iranian society becoming captive to Zionist lobbying.
This is to be contrasted with Israel's ever expanding interests, not only in Palestine, but Syria & Lebanon as well; all this as Israel's intelligence & martial capacities are heavily reliant on a one-sided relationship with the West.
3) Reviewing these points, an Israeli demise seems to only open up the progress of the Iranian people versus the Israeli people seemingly becoming incapable of progress, regardless of the conflict's outcome. When comparing the Iranian people's capacity to endure through the heaviest of sanctions regimes (and still buttress their oppresive state as a formidable regional power, no less), the aforementioned dependency of an increasingly free-riding Israeli people on Western tithes, and the aspirations towards freedom of an Iranian people stifled by the mullahs (most heavily) through argument against influence by this sick man of the Levant...
...the Internationale believes that it is coherent to both support the aspirations of Iranians to liberty, while also temporally supporting their oppressive state in its dual with that of Israel.
We are of course open to rebuttal on your part, and accept that our assessment may be unacceptable to this region. We are not, however, adherent to the common contemporary neo-Marxist garbage which blindly designates imperialists vs. anti-imperialists, and ignore their own fallacies and hypocrisies in zealously picking sides.
Thank you if you have read through this entire post!
Thank you for your thoughtful message and for taking the time to articulate your views so thoroughly.
I fully agree with your assessment of the Iranian regime—it is indeed oppressive, theocratic, and hostile to the aspirations of its own people. The courage and resilience of ordinary Iranians in the face of such systemic repression are deeply admirable, and I share your hope that they will one day succeed in replacing the regime with a system that respects human rights, democracy, and dignity.
However, I must respectfully disagree with your interpretation of Israel and its role in the region.
Contrary to your assessment, I believe Israel is the only true and functioning democracy in the Middle East. It upholds pluralism, freedom of speech, rule of law, and regular, competitive elections—principles that are, unfortunately, absent in many neighboring states. While Israel is far from perfect and grapples with serious internal challenges—like the ongoing tensions between secular and religious factions, or the complexities of its military obligations—I do not see these as signs of decay, but rather as the tensions inherent in any vibrant democratic society.
Moreover, I firmly believe that Israel, like any sovereign nation, has the right and responsibility to defend itself from threats, especially from state and non-state actors openly calling for its destruction. This includes Iran’s regime and its proxies, who are not just ideological opponents but active participants in military aggression. To portray Israel as the primary obstacle to regional progress while excusing, even temporarily, the behavior of a state sponsor of terror like the Iranian regime, feels both morally and strategically flawed.
Supporting the Iranian people’s aspirations for freedom should not come at the cost of vilifying a democratic state that, for all its challenges, remains a beacon of openness and innovation in a deeply troubled region.
I appreciate your willingness to invite open dialogue and exchange.
The Internationale appreciates your openness in turn. Though we do still stand by our anticipated schedule of an Israeli collapse preceding an Iranian revolution, we will certainly stand in solidarity with any such popular struggle should it arise before the conclusion of the conflict between the two states.
If, as the mullahs predict, a new and open Iranian society would fall prey to foreign lobbying and diplomatic pressure, we would stand with those elements of the Iranian people seeking to prise that yoke off from them next. We would not advocate for the preservation of this bloody imamate, as the neo-Marxists do, out of a foolish anti-imperial derangement.
To a greater future!
