The exact founding date of Bruxxa was Thursday, 7/25/19 in the feeder region, The Pacific. To the knowledge of some, he moved to Eientei Gensokyo the next day, where he stayed for a while and made many friends including Koishi Komeiji; while also making some foes. Not much else is known, however current studies of RMB posts are revealing more and more evidence every month. Due to role-play inactivity in the region and an unfortunate event regarding Dominion remnants however, he left Eientei Gensokyo for The Glorious Nations of Iwaku on 1/16/20, as they were partnered regions of each other. Once in The Glorious Nations of Iwaku, Bruxxa's path to greatest was set in stone. During his stay in The Glorious Nations of Iwaku, he made many friends such as the now on-and-off-CTEd T-34s and Realm of the neko goddess, The strangers club, and others. His time there was peaceful, with minor debates here and there, until a particular incident occurred.

In his time in The Glorious Nations of Iwaku also befriended many young nations such as myself, Springtraplegendary, Volykos, Plus Nova Imperii, Barrow Cove, Tweeby land ii, Furghas (which he met on the forums and was a puppet Dominioan), La aduana, Red flame nation, and various important others. Lordshuckle (soon to be Sorianora) was also loosely affiliated with him due to myself. One particular puppet nation of his called Grieve tan was allegedly in part used by an irl friend of Bruxxa's, which led to a problem. Grieve tan was often accused of spamming, harassment, and random playful "annoyances". A nation that for the sake of privacy, I will call, "S", eventually sentenced Bruxxa to banishment from Iwaku for being affiliated with Grieve. In sadness, he, and a small number of his friends, moved to a region that he had previous founded, The Tavern, using a puppet of the same name, on 1/29/20. Bruxxa appointed myself, T-34s, and Springtraplegendary, as the first regional officers for The Tavern. Thus beginning Bruxxa's role as a leader, and his inevitable rise to regional power and prestige.

Not too many things happened in the early days of The Tavern. Most days were full of recruiting, simple conversation, and establishing RO's and ties with other regions. The infamously funny nation Ink pink joined the region on 2/13/20 and left a few weeks after. Haruhi Japan, whose alt account, The strangers club, had been in part responsible for Bruxxa's ban from Iwaku joined the region on 2/17/20 and began to become very closely affiliated to The Tavern and its growth. New members such as Barrow Cove and Nottinghame helped to contribute to the friendly atmosphere. On 3/4/20, I, Baloo Kingdom, created the first RP map in our regional history. It involved many of the original members, including more recent ones such as Caesar von bingen, Traveness (now Haroldiaistan), and Imperial hresvelg. The map was updated periodically, and nations would stake claims on a world map until the map was full. Once full, the map members would role-play battle for the entirety of the map. The map surprisingly lasted until the waxing of The Tavern, and still maintained the same system. Barrow Cove was temporarily banned by Haruhi Japan once. But overall, The Tavern was an extremely prosperous and popular region with little to no problem besides an occasional squabble. However, roughly on 3/19/20, Haruhi Japan broke off from The Tavern due to regional political differences and formed The Vincence Kingdom which had a more serious government than The Tavern.

Unfortunately, this section may be cut short due to J o J taking over and deleting the entirety of the region's posts by re-founding The Vincence Kingdom. After Haruhi Japan split from The Tavern, it created a schism that remnants of still last to this day. Bruxxa temporarily left The Tavern for his old region, Eientei Gensokyo. I and a few others followed him there and eventually, we all returned to The Tavern with a sense of growth. Nations had to either decide to join Bruxxa or Haruhi Japan, and the sides were evenly split. Luckily, embassies were established with each other and the regions became partners. The World of the Frozen Flames was also brought into the mix, thus forming The Regional Triumvirate. The Regional Triumvirate marked a new age for local regional cooperation, and although the days of the Triumvirate were short, they definitely were sound. Many new members joined including, Wabobania, The dream of kirby, Callmedaddystratton, and The Mongo Empire, along with a few unspecified others. The regional map war took place then, along with many other interesting events. Sadly, The Regional Triumvirate was disbanded after a dispute between certain members over the future of the regions led to a second schism. All remaining members of the triumvirate were to move to The Vincence Kingdom per the request of Bruxxa, who was deciding to become less active on NationStates and move back to Iwaku. Though some were reluctant of this change, including me, all eventually ported to The Vincence Kingdom thus beginning the next chapter of our history.

Unfortunately, this chapter is also cut short on information because of J o J re-founding The Vincence Kingdom. Once all affiliated members had merged into The Vincence Kingdom, a new period of excellence and prosperity was destined. The RP map exchanged hands with many talented cartographers and participation was high. An average of 8 or so RMB pages were used a day. Various projects were both proposed and finished here, including one of my most famous works, Vincence Kingdom: Infinity Bear, which is a fun NationStates parody of Avengers: Infinity War. Regional Officers remained fairly the same as The Tavern’s lineup, including Haruhi Japan, Plus Nova Imperii, The dream of kirby, Sorianora, Imperial hresvelg, I, and a few others. Numerous new nations joined at this point, including Republic of terra nova and Ethics committee of the scpf, and at this point, everyone was peaceful. Some could consider this a Renaissance Period of sorts. The waters of NationStates were calm until they were abruptly displaced by a second argument over government type. Haruhi Japan wanted to have a more autocratical government like that of The Tavern, while nations Dominioan, Sorianora, and Plus Nova Imperii wanted a democratically elected government. When Haruhi Japan decided initially to refrain from a democratic government, Dominioan left with his supporters and created the Bluecrown Keep on 7/27/20. This caused Haruhi Japan to be rather upset, but he was still hopeful. Little did anyone know that things could get a lot more complicated. This event was a setup for the third and final schism that divided the region even more.

Only mere days after a cast of nations left The Vincence Kingdom for Bluecrown Keep, the remaining active members, most notably myself and Imperial hresvelg were left with Haruhi Japan and a now crippled region. Haruhi Japan, however, had a potential plan to revitalize what remained of the region. The plan was to set up a merger between The Vincence Kingdom, friendly and neighboring region The Wooloo Pact, and Old Zealand into a new region called, Isle Of Wooloo Kingdom. The plan looked good on paper, however, a lot of Regional Officers had to be cut. To further the problem, many native The Wooloo Pact members disapproved of the merge and left, thus dooming the Isle Of Wooloo Kingdom. This disaster drove Haruhi Japan into sadness, he created the region, Worthless. Remaining members and friends attempted to reason with him, though attempts were feeble. Haruhi Japan eventually decided to go to The Glorious Nations of Iwaku so that he could have a chance of talking to Bruxxa over what happened. The remaining members had no leader and thus decided to join the Bluecrown Keep, with the exception of Imperial hresvelg who decided to follow Haruhi Japan to Iwaku. It seemed that the saga was over, however the Bluecrown Keep was growing in power, and with the addition of a few key members after the collapse of Isle Of Wooloo Kingdom, it was on track to success.

Once the nations had successfully settled in the Bluecrown Keep, their democratic government was ready to form. A provisional government had been set up temporarily until proper positions could be elected. The government was made up of ministers for defense, state image, and foreign affairs, with a Prime Minister above them with delegate authority. The Prime Minister appointed all roles of minister including a Deputy Prime Minister who had similar, but lesser power to the Prime Minister. Founder, Dominioan, served as the permanent executive authority as a sort of "King" but let the democratic government made most of the decisions. An unelected legislative and judicial body and were also present, but were seldom necessary. Co-Founder, Sorianora served as the first Prime Minister, with Plus Nova Imperii as his Deputy Prime Minister. Things were going very well in the Bluecrown Keep. A new RP Maps were established, each with creative setups including, "What if Germany won WWII", "What if the British won the American Revolution", to just plain normal WWI role-play. New members joined including Yes humans are recyclable, Unified Democratic Europe (who turned out to be Barlyy), Erantan, Barlyy, East Cashinamasian, The Great Hiatus (who contributed a great deal to the Bruxxa card trade), The H Corporation (now a part of TVE), and various others. Diplomacy was at its strongest in a while, as The Wooloo Pact became their finest ally along with Just Relax. Many interesting stories were unfolding in various creative dispatches written by a plethora of native authors. Soon the September Prime Minister election had begun, with previous Deputy Prime Minster, Plus Nova Imperii victorious with myself as his Deputy Prime Minister. While our prosperity was at its best, Haruhi Japan had decided to start his career back up again with the creation of his new and improved region, The Vincence Empire.

Following his exile to The Glorious Nations of Iwaku, Haruhi Japan decided to join a region called The Vorincte League, however unfortunately its members allegedly betrayed him. Haruhi Japan next choice was to join The Wooloo Pact, however, they didn't get along so well. Haruhi Japan then decided to start anew and create a Greater Vincence Empire, under a region of the same name. He began to raid unused regions to add to his collection, which at max included 15 different regions. After the fact, Haruhi Japan's remaining supporters, including Imperial hresvelg, Boris cult (who originally opposed him), and Team leo. The region then began to operate similarly to The Vincence Kingdom and serves as a card trading and casual roleplaying region. While all this was going on, Bruxxa had left Iwaku and rejoined the now dormant The Tavern. As he was inactive, he placed I, Baloo Kingdom, as the Regional Governor to look after the region from afar. The Vincence Empire has now established embassies with The Tavern, Bluecrown Keep, Just Relax, and The Wooloo Pact marking a new age of union and diplomacy between our local regional community.

Shortly after, the prosperous Bruxxa trading card crashed in value from a market value of 45 bank to a much lower sum of 1 bank. Since then, the card has been raised slightly, with efforts building. At least for the Bluecrown Keep's faction, King's Nuclear Guard, N-Day 2020 went horribly. After vicious nuclear bombardment from the powerful Railgun faction, who originally aggressed us as a meme, we were left with a low negative score to finish N-Day. Despite these un-fortuitous events, the Bluecrown Keep continued to grow in prominence and influence, reaching over 75 members by October 9th, 2020. With the addition of the highly influential, Nooooooooooooooo, the Bluecrown Keep was thrust into the top 7% of the world in regional influence. At the dawn of Spooktober, regional RMB activity skyrocketed to an average of 15-25 RMB pages a day, allowing the region to reach the landmark of 1000 RMB pages. However, in the time of spooks, a conspiracy erupted. The Wooloo Pact member and former The Vincence Kingdom and The Tavern member, Barrow Cove, accused current Prime Minister of the Bluecrown Keep, Plus Nova Imperii, of infiltrating and sabotaging the government of The Wooloo Pact via a puppet. This eventually led to a call for the impeachment of Plus Nova Imperii. Upon his arrival, Plus Nova Imperii defended himself from his charges with Barlyy being the main prosecutor. After the fact, the impeachment charges were dropped, and a disastrous interregional war was prevented. The case, however, was not yet dropped. Barrow Cove did not attend the hearing to my public knowledge. No talk of a second hearing has emerged, with no new compelling evidence being brought to light. Who knew what the future would hold for the Saga of Bruxxa?

Immediately proceeding the events of the Bluecrown Keep impeachment hearings, The Vincence Empire member, Boris cult, left The Vincence Empire for The Wooloo Pact after a disagreement with The Vincence Empire founder, Haruhi Japan. This unfortunate turn of events along with a string of previous others caused Haruhi Japan to once again be thrust into sadness. This is turn made Haruhi Japan realize that he needed to step back from the activity of NationStates and focus on his personal life more. Many from the Bluecrown Keep and The Vincence Empire, and The Wooloo Pact urged him to stay, however they came to an understanding eventually. Haruhi Japan left on similar terms as Bruxxa had, with him pledging to still be active on discord and that he would keep his nation from CTEing. As for The Vincence Empire and its active members, some, such as The H Corporation, moved to the Bluecrown Keep or The Wooloo Pact, while others remained there in order to keep The Vincence Empire alive and to rebuild it. Thus ended the times of Haruhi Japan, however, their legacy remains intact and preserved, just as Bruxxa's is. As these events were occurring, J o J and the Anti J o J Coalition were determining their peace terms. In those terms, J o J agreed to voluntarily give back some of his captured regions that were deemed unnecessary to them, and among those regions was the late The Vincence Kingdom. Members of the Bluecrown Keep, The Wooloo Pact, and The Vincence Empire arranged with J o J for the return of The Vincence Kingdom, and the region was granted. The return of such a memorable region was met with joy from the local regional community.

On October 25, 2020, the West Pacific raiders attacked The Tavern seeing that its founder, The tavern, which is an alternate account of Bruxxa, had CTEd. Bluecrown Keep members and The Tavern fans alike immediately drew attention to Bruxxa to revive the founder and boot the raiders. Not too long after the efforts began, Bruxxa was able to easily ban the raiders from the region. This was met with much joy from the local regional community, and I, Baloo Kingdom was reinstalled as the Consul of the region for the time being. The next day, as a nice surprise, Barrow Cove was able to convince dormant nation, T-34s, to emerge once again to say goodbye to the members of our regional community. Nations we thrilled to see them again, and they all sent their well-wishes. Moving forward, it was again the time of the Bluecrown Keep monthly elections. The runners of this race were, Sorianora, Barlyy, Nooooooooooooooo, and Arisyan. After the first round of voting, both Sorianora and Barlyy came out on top. In the second round of voting, Sorianora alone was able to become the Prime Minister with Plus Nova Imperii as his DPM, however, he won in the closest race in Bluecrown Keep history. Citizenship forms were also added as a way to prevent voter fraud in future elections. After the Z-Day₉ fiasco regarding a zombie take-over, the Bluecrown Keep was 100% overrun by zombies due to local efforts. Shortly after the wane of Z-Day, Bruxxa officially announced that he had plans to let The Tavern CTE in order to erase the memories of the past and push for a brighter future. This was met with sadness from the local regional community, but also much understanding. This event could be contributed to the formation of this history dispatch, which allowed for the preservation of our important history without looking through the RMB's of the past. Bruxxa formed a new region under the name New World Roman Empire, which he would use to build a new and improved future for the local regional community. On 11/5/20, the Bluecrown Keep reached a total of over 100 members, a significant milestone that marked a truly optimistic future ahead.

After Bruxxa had left The Tavern, he made his way to his newly founded region, New World Roman Empire. Not soon after arriving, he decided against destroying The Tavern; as was originally planned. Fellow founder nation, Haruhi Japan also moved their account to the region as they decided it might be their best option. Unfortunately, while attempting to remove The Vincence Kingdom from J o J's control by refounding it, the West Pacific was able to raid and refound the region first. Negotiations began to retrieve The Vincence Kingdom from the West Pacific. Later, the first election for Consul of New World Roman Empire was held with the candidates being Haruhi Japan and I. Haruhi Japan was able to snatch a victory by two votes and become the first Consul. Elections for the senate were to be held later. Meanwhile, the Bluecrown Keep was rapidly expanding in members due to major recruitment attempts driven by key members of the region. The 115th member joined on 11/16/20, showing a nine-member increase since recruitment efforts began. Continuing with the previous trend of Pacific region raiding, neighboring region The Pact of Roosters was temporarily raided by The North Pacific for unknown reasons on 11/18/20.

Shortly after The Pact of Roosters was raided, Mathuvan union decided that it may be time for his region to be converted to puppet storage and for him and any other remaining members of his region to join Bluecrown Keep. This was accomplished on the same day as the raid, and it went fairly successfully. Shortly after the fact, the Bluecrown Keep transitioned into the holiday season, introducing both a November and Christmas themed WFE and multiple seasonal dispatches and events. A medium-sized verbal conflict between neighboring region The Wooloo Pact and the Bluecrown Keep erupted, which lasted about a few hours until eventual moderator intervention. This was the NationStates Moderator's first visit to the RMB of the Bluecrown Keep, and the citizens hoped it would be the last. On 11/30/20, the fifth election for Prime Minister of the Bluecrown Keep began. The candidates were Plus Nova Imperii of The Democratic Torch, Barlyy of the New Prosperity Party, and Arisyan of the Free and Equal Party. After a drawn-out, back-and-forth election, both Plus Nova Imperii and Barlyy made it to the second round of voting. Many accusations of voter fraud and illegitimate votes appeared during the running, and most of those issues were dismissed or resolved. In the end, after a more significant gap between the two candidates appeared, Barlyy was declared the victor. He became the first non-The Democratic Torch Prime Minister in Bluecrown Keep history, marking a new age in our democratic system. Unfortunately thereafter, previous Prime and Deputy Prime Minister, Sorianora, departed the Bluecrown Keep to start up the new region he had been working on, Callista. His leave solidified the new age of government that had been sparked by the outcome of the very historical election prior.

On 12/1/20, fellow nationmate Haruhi Japan made an unexpected visit to the Bluecrown Keep. Unfortunately, he came bringing prophecies of oncoming destruction and fall of the Bluecrown Keep by his hand or our own. Citing the fall of his own region, The Vincence Kingdom, many were convinced that our democratic regime had finally cracked and failed. This sparked the depression of the newly elected Prime Minister, Barlyy, who in their brief emotional instability, left Bluecrown Keep and resigned from the WA. This sparked an already agitated populace to lash out and in some cases, leave the region temporarily. After a period of turmoil, numerous apologies, and countless opinions shared, things began to settle down. But the faults had been triggered and the region remained riddled with uncertainty. The next day, prominent member of the Bluecrown Keep government and two-time Prime Minister, Plus Nova Imperii decided that he had enough of Bluecrown Keep and left to join Callista. After a loss of such an important member of the government, the Bluecrown Keep was running low on power. Many other older nations such as Yes humans are recyclable, and The Mongo Empire also left for Callista. On a positive note, the Bluecrown Keep reached 3000 RMB pages at around this time also. Many new nations had also joined the ranks of the Bluecrown Keep, including but not limited to Spirium kingdom. However, with Callista gaining more and more ex-Bluecrown Keep members, Callista became much more formidable, much faster than anticipated.

The idea for Callista presumably arose after Sorianora wanted to form a region of his own, maybe even earlier. After his latest term as Prime Minister of the Bluecrown Keep, he decided to resign from politics in the region. Sorianora then left the Bluecrown Keep for his preexisting region and started furthering his work on a government of sorts. Not too long after, prominent Bluecrown Keep member Plus Nova Imperii left for Callista, as previously stated. Nations Mathuvan union and Haruhi Japan also left their own respective regions soon thereafter for Callista. The government of Callista is comprised similarly to the government of the Bluecrown Keep, however, there are differences. For example, Callista has the four main secondary "ministers", remained "secretaries" respectively. In place of the executive "King", Callista had a "Tsar". The "Prime Minister" role remained the same with the "Deputy Prime Minister" being changed to "Lieutenant Prime Minister". The position of "Judge" was the only role added not present in the Bluecrown Keep. Not soon after the establishment of the official government of Callista, a draft for an alliance was formed. The interregional friendship was named the Bluecrown-Callista Alliance. It instated the removal of foreign intervention in regional politics, the needed mutual protection of regions, and the official bond of regional companionship. A bright future seemed now more possible than ever, or so it seemed.

With a peak, there comes a fall, and the time of Bluecrown Keep was running thin. On 12/11/20, Prime Minister Barlyy left the Bluecrown Keep unexpectedly after claiming that the region had changed from his liking and that he felt that he had been elected undemocratically due to possible newfound puppet fraud in the regional voting processes. This unfortunate event caused ripples in the Bluecrown Keep signaling its end. Later that day, region founder Dominioan announced that he would decide the future of the region the next day. Much to the chagrin of the remaining residents, Dominioan announced on 12/12/20 that the Bluecrown Keep would be closed, ending the region's six-month reign. Dominioan also announced that the region would begin its three-day closure period which I would head. This would advocate for the diaspora of past Bluecrown Keep members across NationStates to ensure that disunity would be impossible. The majority of ex-members left for Callista with the other officially endorsed heir regions, such as First World Order, Isle of Wooloo Kingdom, and NeutraIKEA, receiving somewhat lesser amounts of Bluecrown Keep refugees. After the three-day period before the closing of the Bluecrown Keep, all ex-members had been dispersed thoroughly across many regions. Even I myself left for Callista after the three days were over. Post-diaspora, a much-needed calm in the storm was reached. Many were reunited with their previous friends that they had been separated from after the fall of The Vincence Kingdom, and others joined our regional band for the first time. The diaspora had been successful.

With the diaspora settled, regrowth could now begin, and begin it did. In Callista, the similar government to the Bluecrown Keep was soon filled with corresponding government officials. With a completed government came good promise, but also turmoil. The same political disagreements previously present in the Bluecrown Keep began to show in the new region of Callista. Nevertheless, time and work continued. Abroad, a war between regions Isle of Wooloo Kingdom (made of the members of the defunct The Wooloo Pact) and Krasnaya erupted with mild intervention from Callista. A solid regional roleplay map set in the late 1800s emerged and prospered with on and off activity. It became a pivotal part of Callista's activity and appeal. Unfortunately, the Judge of Callista at the time, Haroldiaistan, decided to leave our regional group due to tensions escalating to the regional roleplay map. This event caused member Caesar von bingen to be appointed as the temporary Judge until a new judge could be elected. A flash election for Judge was held on 1/1/21 with the primary candidates being Arisyan and previous Prime Minister Plus Nova Imperii. This election seemed to cause much friction in the region due to opposing viewpoints and the newly appointed Prime Minister, Haruhi Japan. In the end, Arisyan came out victorious, and soon after the old occupants of government seats were swept out and replaced or rearranged by the Prime Minister. Some nations became RO's for the first time in our regional history. Even some older members who were consistently in power were removed or demoted. This change of power is the root of this section's title and personifies this period of time. A new age had begun.

Not long after the election of a new judge, Callista went through a number of small changes. Many different ideas for roleplay maps were attempted, spanning many different eras and premises. Meanwhile, many nations celebrated anniversaries and other happy events. For a moment of time, there was general peace and discussion. Discussion of current worldly political affairs and discussions of harmless good things. Callista seemed to be doing quite well as a region, although being rather static in terms of population increase. However, the pillars of regional stability were cracking under the surface. Many discussed an end to the region due to a decrease in roleplay activity and just plain activity in general, however, others were more optimistic. On 1/24/21, the cracks began to show after the current Prime Minister, Haruhi Japan, suggested merging the region with a smaller or more active roleplay region. Many agreed but were uncertain about the parameters of such a task. The final blow to Callista was a personal statement from the venerated founding nation, Bruxxa. The message essentially urged his followers and friends to leave the region in the past and end the cycle of needless reform and regional collapse in turn for a larger and more stable region, as an example, The Glorious Nations of Iwaku. With that, it had been decided. The Saga of Bruxxa was over and the plans of the future were soiled. As many loyal nations dispersed yet again, each giving a written goodbye, Callista grew smaller. So on, and so forth, on the little nations went. Or was it?

When all seemed lost in the effort to sustain the stability of Callista, things started to miraculously turn around. Once again, the remainder of the region put aside its differences a banded together with a beacon of unity. Upon the leave of Haruhi Japan for his The Vincence Empire, Mathuvan union was placed as Prime Minister, with I remaining as the Lieutenant Prime Minister. Unfortunately, Haruhi Japan was banned from Callista as a result of the previous conflict and the oncoming administration. This decision sparked a three-day-long war between The Vincence Empire and Callista. Raids were threatened on both sides and embassies were scheduled to close. The war ended up being more of a verbal one rather than a physical version. Eventually, Haruhi Japan called for an armistice, and Sorianora agreed. Meetings thereafter were held with Haruhi Japan about ban appeal, however, he refused to accept any appeal proposal, feeling in part responsible for the dangerous conflict prior. Afterward, time passed swiftly upon the fresh Callista. Suddenly, with no warning, interregional hero Bruxxa denounced Callista for its corruption. This was taken badly by Judge Arisyan who resigned from Judgeship after an argument with Bruxxa. Not soon after, clarity was reached when Bruxxa explained that his roommate, "Jared", had seized possession of his device while he was away for the day and had been the one messing around with us. Bruxxa apologized, and deemed the event "The Jared Scandal". Arisyan was reinstated popularly as Judge and regional confidence was yet again restored. Soon after, a new regional anthem was voted on and decided to be "God Save the Tsar". Callista was once again normal.

After the misery of the Jared Scandal and war with The Vincence Empire, the people of Callista along with The Vincence Empire stamped out a new path for the regional line. This season of enrichment kicked off with controversy regarding embassies. Judge Arisyan made the decision in February of 2021 to close embassies with new-coming raider region, Krasnaya. Some regional officers, mainly Prime Minster Mathuvan union, disliked this action and reversed it promptly. Feeling this was the wrong choice, Arisyan undid the reversal of the Prime Minister. The same happened again until Prime Minster Mathuvan union called for the impeachment of Arisyan from judgeship due to his disregard of the other regional officer's opinions regarding embassy closure. The vote taken on impeachment swung towards a surprising landslide choice to not impeach or remove Arisyan from judgeship. On The Vincence Empire front, activity was booming once again. Many new members joined up the Vincence ranks, finding much roleplay, chatting, and discussing to do. Not soon after, Haruhi Japan, who had previously been banned from Callista after the war by their own wishes, was now officially unbanned and could talk freely on the RMB. To further increase the enrichment of Callista, the dormant nation King of the ratfolk (also known as The Mongo Empire) founded the "Callista Minecraft Realm", an idea modeled off of the previous "Bluecrown Keep" Minecraft Realm. With the addition of a new platform for connectivity came both challenges and positives, and overall, the "Callista MC Realm", or "Callista SMP", was very popular. Even nations from other regions joined in on the fun. With the success of a Minecraft Realm bringing regions together and a great show of democratic soundness, things were again looking up for both Callista and The Vincence Empire.

With the recent success of the Callista SMP and the betterment of relations between The Vincence Empire and Callista, progress temporarily took to the front seat. However, trouble once again returned to Callista much more internally this time. Prime Minister Mathuvan union made the decision to not close embassies with the familiar region, Old Zealand, whose founder had apparently attempted to steal members from The Vincence Empire, specifically Ethics committee of the scpf. This decision was unpopular with many members of both Callista and The Vincence Empire, and continued to fuel frustration within the populace. Both Sorianora and Haruhi Japan also publically disagreed with Mathuvan union's decision. Upon this backdrop, Prime Minister Mathuvan union officially resigned from the position of "Prime Minister" claiming that he had failed the populace of Callista as Prime Minister and instating I, Baloo Kingdom, as the new interim Prime Minister of Callista. Following this sudden change of power, some claimed the region was done for. Others saw this as a new opportunity for growth. Baloo Kingdom chose Caesar von bingen as his LPM and also swapped out other roles of government to ensure a fresher approach to government role holdings. At the beginning of his administration, Baloo Kingdom did not do much as Prime Minster, mostly filling time with RMB and SMP growth. Later, he instated the first "Sub-Ministries" of Callista, additional unshown government roles that could handle more specific issues in the region. Even before passing the amendment of "Sub-Ministries", approval rates for Baloo Kingdom were surprisingly high for a member of the regional line who had never held to the majority seat of power. Some, including the previous Prime Minster Mathuvan union claimed that Baloo Kingdom had done nothing as Prime Minister and did not deserve the praise he was receiving. Nevertheless, progress and reform continued, and the next Callista election would soon be underway, a coming testament to the integrity of the democratic system.

Following the signing of the "Sub-Secretaries" into law, it was time to move on to the next thing. More growth was on the horizon. A new venture, a colony, The Legionary, made up mostly of First World Order refugees, optimistically volunteered to become the first official colony region of Callista. Their people were given the same rights and privileges under the law as normal citizens of Callista, such as the ability to vote, while also being allowed to be semi-autonomous, making their own rules. The regions quickly bonded in friendship, with some members of The Legionary even moving over to Callista. Next up, trading cards made a significant comeback with the hype of a possible third season of cards coming. The Callista Cards Council was set up with the nation of Callista cards, a counterpart to Callista dispatches that would hold periodic trading card giveaways. Nations such as Nooooooooooooooo, Barlyy, Saarz, The dream of kirby, Cerata, the founder Sorianora, I and many, many others saw exponential growth in our DV's surpassing our wildest imaginations. A sort of "Cards Race", reminiscent of the real-life "Space Race", had begun in the regional line. Unfortunately, at around this time, one of the great founders, Bruxxa himself, announced his leave from NationStates, claiming that we had become too far apart from his original regional plan. This event deeply saddened most of the regional line. In response, Haruhian Cerata submitted a controversial proposal to the World Assembly's Security Council calling for an official Commendation of Bruxxa, hoping that this would cheer him up enough to return to NationStates or at least solidify his legacy. The proposal, mainly focusing on the value of the Bruxxa trading card and his contributions to the regional line/it's founding, quickly gained much support and disapproval. It was able to reach quorum in the Security Council within the day of its submission but still found much criticism. Upon such stress, Cerata was forced to take down the proposal to appease the angered members of the WA. Meanwhile, the previously stagnantly decreasing population of Callista stopped its downward trend moved again slightly upwards, and sort of the same occurred in The Vincence Empire as well. As previously stated, the next election for Prime Minister was to be held at the end of March, and debates between candidates began.

With the interim Prime Ministership of Baloo Kingdom coming to a close, and debates between the two candidates, Plus Nova Imperii of the Tsarist Party and Baloo Kingdom himself running under no legal party affiliation, it was time for the election to be underway. After 24 hours of voting via public poll, Baloo Kingdom came out victorious and chose Nooooooooooooooo to be his Lieutenant Prime Minister and keeping the rest of the Regional Officer positions the same. Meanwhile, running unopposed, Poskukune was elected as the new Judge of Callista, succeeding Arisyan. Bruxxa, at around this time, reported having finally outlived his long-time foe, "S", marking the end of an era. Also of the time was the steady and increased popularity of Trading Cards, which were still highly valued. In fact, as a result of card importance, NeutraIKEA, run by Barlyy became Scardinavia, in which some Callista members moved puppets or main accounts to including Saarz. On The Vincence Empire front, roleplay remained fairly steady, with few bumps at most involved, in contrast to Callista's lack. Unfortunately thereafter, a long-time ally of Callista, The Isle of Wooloo Kingdom was declared dead, and its residents were again forced to immigrate collectively to a new host region, the Institute of Cellulose. Later, a small dilemma occurred with the passing of the WA Delegacy from regional founder Sorianora to incumbent Prime Minister Baloo Kingdom with his return to the World Assembly. The situation was pretty cooperatively and quickly resolved, with it only spanning the length of 24 hours. And aside from those events, things were looking good for the future of Callista, The Vincence Empire, and the rest of the regional line.

With the passing of the Delegacy, security was reached. Upon such a platform, great regional growth could be facilitated. In the time following, Callista saw advances in all fields, starting with the release of a long-awaited and delayed movie transcript. Production of Rome Wars: A New Pope, originally created by Plus Nova Imperii, was handed over to me, Baloo Kingdom, and was released on May 4th, 2021 in celebration of Star Wars Day. Following a continuous upward trend, the Trading Card business boomed substantially, with many nations achieving high ranks within the Trading Card community. Also, card veteran, Barlyy decided to retire from the trading card scene, an unexpected event at the least. A number of new and old faces came to Callista in the time in between, with Bruxxa and T-34s returning after a long time away. Over in The Vincence Empire trouble was brewing with activity decreasing gradually. With The Vincence Empire's RMB consisting mostly of roleplay posts, it was difficult to determine the security and well-being of the region. An incident involving roleplay gone wrong almost led to tragedy, however thankfully the crisis was averted. Back in Callista, the RMB was facing the looming problem of spam posts. Spam had destroyed our previous region, Bluecrown Keep and the same fate was not favorable for Callista. In order to prevent such an incident, Callista created an official spam region, Callistic Missile, created by The dream of kirby, in which the RMB rules on spam were relaxed. Not too soon after, a merge proposal was formed between The Vincence Empire and Callista. The proposal went to a vote and it was unable to pass in its current form. In slight relation and compromise, the Minister of Culture was proposed and was easily passed. This role would also handle the spam problem along with other cultural aspects such as trading cards and regional events. An election was held for the role with the primary candidates being Arisyan and Caesar von bingen. Arisyan won and became the first Minister of Culture of Callista. And with that, this chapter of the Bruxxan Saga was over, making room for the next.

A new chapter began in Callista - The Vincence Empire history, and one not unlike the others. Yes humans are recyclable, Isle of waifu, and a few other in his posse left Callista over the spam situation and settled in Time Clock. An attempt was made on the second Callista Minecraft Realm to begin an organized war that never truly got off the ground. The Regional Officers of Callista continued to work together to better define and handle spam, and thanks to The dream of kirby, a matching Callistan flag fad began for a couple of days. Next up, Callista gained a regional banner, which featured some of our most prominent figures, and Barlyy formed the regional system of Bar Vegas. Surprisingly enough, political campaigns for the next Prime Minister election, one month away at the time, began. The previously meme party, the Baloominati led by myself, teamed up with the more legitimate Tsarist Party, headed by Plus Nova Imperii to form the Tsarist-Baloominati Coalition. The Callistan Prosperity, headed by Arisyan, and the joke Rickroll Party queued up as the opposition. Unusual early campaigning, especially for the Baloominati, deemed very successful, drawing droves of supporters even from other unrelated regions. The campaigning continued until the next election. Afterward, there was some scuttlebutt following the citizenship application of regional founder Haruhi Japan, when some argued that Haruhi Japan should not have to apply for citizenship to Callista with him being such a well-known and important historical figure, while others argued that in order to be fair, he still needed to go through the proper channels of admittance. Meanwhile, regional legend, Barrow Cove returned to the regional line and became a Private Secretary, blessing the region with many fun polls. I, myself planned the long regional event of Baloo's Bison Burger Road Trip 3, and a long strand of Saga of Bruxxa themed fan-fics began to form under the main authorship of Cerata, Socialist states of ludistan, and Barrow Cove, featuring the likes of Haruhi Japan, Poskukune, and myself among many others, and lastly, old nation Pooor formed Pooortopia as his puppet residence. In The Vincence Empire, things were still going swimmingly, with map roleplay excelling in all fields and only minor issues with roleplay disputes and the aforementioned issue with citizenship in Callista. A WA Secretariat, who need not an introduction, sent a puppet to reside in Callista under the name, Coromandel and serendib, along with requesting an embassy with his recently refounded region, Bear World. Trading Cards, as always, were as popular as ever, and the same went for the revered Bruxxa card as Callista hit 75 nations and The Vincence Empire remained at around 100. When the month of June rolled around, a conflict suddenly appeared involving Head Justice Poskukune. I will refrain from providing the details of said conflict for the sake of privacy, however I can say that the conflict ended, unfortunately. Head Justice Poskukune resigned and began a hiatus from Callista while CPP Prime Minister candidate took an ambiguous break from NationStates. Plus Nova Imperii took over in the stead of Poskukune as Head Justice at least until the election. An unfortunate end to a rather eventful two weeks. Afterwards, Callista recovered and pushed back up to normal again. All and all, a good time in Callista - The Vincence Empire history, despite its rough areas.

Continuing the trend of the last era, Callista and The Vincence Empire started off like they had been. Spam saw its last moments in Callista, with Cerata getting banned in the process, an action somewhat controversial. The Vincence Empire continued to sustain ample roleplay activity, a rarity in Callista. In Callista, a small turmoil over native RMB language was resolved and the 200th Day anniversary was celebrated. The Socialist states of ludistan made his own region called New Legion as a fallback from Callista if we were ever to fail. And Callista was facing a strange politic dilemma, me. It seemed that no matter what happened, the Baloo-Barlyy campaign would snatch victory in the upcoming election. For this reason, Barlyy retired from Callistan politics in search of a more competitive and interesting stage. Ex-Judge Arisyan took his place as LPM in the upcoming election. Regardless, both regions continued to see surges in Trading Card success and found much competitive spirit with the addition of the new Patriotism and Food Quality nation statistics. In The Vincence Empire, minor tremors of activity were felt as a self-coup of government under Haruhi Japan occurred, though inevitably, TVE was not damaged and surely survived. Many interesting roleplay topics were explored there, and advanced success. Dollystana formed the new political party in Callista called The Knights Who Say E, to rival the Baloominati-Tsarist coalition. Meanwhile, the second Callistan Minecraft Realm ended, making way for a later third based in the newest update, and run this time by regional founder Sorianora. This new realm was highly anticipated by the community and is meant to include all that were present in the previous realm. A new flag design was proposed for Callista with The Vincence Empire’s input included, though the flag remained the same in the end and the average day yielded 177 RMB posts. Up next, it was time for the well-awaited Baloo’s Bison Burger Road Trip 3. This 37 day ongoing road trip held the attention region for some time. In addition, the revised Callistan Constitution written mainly by Barlyy was finished in this time, and was to be implemented after the next Prime Minister election. Lastly, the regional line as a whole had something to celebrate as we all turned historically 700 days old. Aside from the major events, the regional line was still up to their classic playful antics. Many a joke told, many a laugh had. 700 days together, though not always physically, but great nonetheless. And hopefully the next 700 would be just as nice.

This specific era of the timeline started of with the arrival of an old friend from the days of The Tavern, Wardrop, who came to Callista after a long CTE-spell. Not soon after this, the quarterly Prime Minister election of July was to begin. The candidates, Arisyan, Baloo Kingdom, and Dollystana were ready. All was to be normal until all candidates campaigning against Baloo Kingdom periodically dropped out of the race through thin poll results. As a result, I won an uncontested election, an event that hadn’t happened since the Prime Minister days of Plus Nova Imperii. Following the election, the constitutional changes promised by Barlyy were put in place, eliminating and changing many of the previously existing RO positions. Other Baloominati policies were also implemented as a result. Next, the time of year had come again to celebrate the Fourth of July, with some nations dawning themed flags and joined in themed discussion. Aside from the events of the Fourth, the RMB progressed as usual with an average of 83 posts a day. Talk normally centered around Baloominati activity, baseball, and general memematic behavior. On the gameplay side of things, the new WA Security Council category of Declarations came about at around this time and was able to occupy most of Callista and The Vincence Empire’s attention both humorously and genuinely. Meanwhile in The Vincence Empire, the Haruhi Japan coup government stood strong with roleplay barely ever ceasing to be impressive. Later, Callista veteran and military leader Plus Nova Imperii created an innovative Hoi4 mod of the government, full and playable within days. The mod became cherished almost instantly. Baloo Bucks also launched at around that time, a joke currency that garnered a lot of support fairly quickly, while the Baloo’s Bison Burger Road Trip 3 finally came to and end. Foremost in this era was the popularity and influence of the Baloominati. Never before had a political party been so powerful, at least in a long time, in and out of the regional line, but power unchecked can be dangerous if not in the hands of the right person.

Following a time of still-standing, another month of it was to come. The Callista RMB ran at an average pace, discussions ranging from politics, to memes, to baseball. The Vincence Empire RMB also ran similar to its previous state with an ever-excelling roleplay community. Many new nations came to both saga regions, however relatively constant CTE-bombs reduced numbers in both. With no soon elections, regional politics were still unchanging. Nations such as Nooooooooooooooo, Arisyan, Haruhi Japan, Sorianora, Dollystana, New brian, The dream of kirby, Royal polish-lithuanian commonwealth, Ethics committee of the scpf, Caesar von bingen, Plus Nova Imperii, and Milt the hippo were among the notable around this time along with many unmentioned others. Though not too many significant political events occurred during this time, the nations of Callista and The Vincence Empire still supported each of their governments as much as they could. In Callista, the user Yes humans are recyclable suggested that we form into a new region with the current ones being too unmoving and stale. Many nations of both regions supported the thought, but not too much came out of it in the end. Afterward, not much more occurred other than casual debate and discussion in both regions. Similar to the last time period, a lost one at that. But maybe with the right combination of events, none in particular, the regional line would be flourishing once more. Maybe.

Just like a fantasy storybook, what was predicted to come, came. In this era, the regional line would liven up a bit from its previous relative slumber. But to start it off, a prominent member of Callista and LPM, Arisyan, decided that it was time for him to take his hands-off NationStates for a bit and take a break. Not soon after, Haruhi Japan suggested that it was time to end The Tavern. He claimed that it was an embarrassing reminder of the past that was no longer necessary for operation. Due to pushback from other members of the regional line, however, this never came to be. In Callista, Plus Nova Imperii again attempted to revive the long-dead Callistan roleplaying community with a new theme, however not much traction was gained. Not soon after, an old threat from the past appeared, the Drewpocalypse. After popular Youtuber Drew Durnil published a second video about NationStates, a new wave of NationStates recruits joined the mix. Thanks to good policy-making in The Vincence Empire and Callista, Drewpocalypse 2 did not have much of an effect on either of the regions. In The Vincence Empire, roleplay continued to thrive, and meanwhile in Callista, the Baloominati continued to increase its appeal and popularity to the people of many regions. Then, out of seemingly nowhere, The Vincence Empire became the first of the regional line to become a featured region. This was celebrated as a major success in both regions. The biggest thing that can be taken away from this era is the return of casual and comedic discussion in the RMB of Callista, who finally had something to talk about again. Activity numbers dramatically increased here from the previous era due to a number of overlying factors one of which included the upcoming N-Day⁶. Shortly before N-Day, The Vincence Empire decided it was time to reorganize their government. Founder Haruhi Japan along with The socialist republic of alaska, The greater western union, The greater commonwealth of england, Ethics committee of the scpf and many others, came together to create a new constitution that came into effect soon after. Back on the topic of N-Day, The Vincence Empire and Callista both decided to create their own nuclear factions, The Vincence Empire's being the Verchy Defense Network and Callista's being the Ohio Burger Nuke Network. N-Day⁶ started out fine for both regions, however, after the sheer dominance of the faction that was The Crabs of The Apocalypse, both regions soon were defeated once again. It was then decided that Callista, The Vincence Empire, Institute of Celluose, and a few other regions were to band together for the next N-Day to prevent what had occurred the first two times. Changing tone, regional founder Bruxxa announced that he was soon becoming a Youtuber themed around Pokémon, a surprise to many. Afterward, it was again time for the election of a Prime Minster in Callista. The incumbent Baloominati nominated myself, Baloo Kingdom for the position with Barlyy being chosen for Lieutenant Prime Minister. The CPP nominated Yes humans are recyclable with incumbent Lieutenant Prime Minister, Arisyan being chosen to reprise his role. After 18+ hours of voting, and the closest election with the lowest voter participation in a while, myself, Baloo Kingdom was elected again for the position of Prime Minister. After a grand election, the month of Spooktober had yet again set onto the regional line. Member nations dawned their old inverted or spooky flags for the month to celebrate spookiness. And with the new month also came the promise of a new Minecraft Realm for the regional line. The Fourth Callista Minecraft Realm launched on October 2nd, 2021 to the largest appraisal and attendance yet. This realm would be unique in the way that for Halloween, an old realm would be revived and able to play on for a day or two. All and all, this was a much more eventful period than the previous three had been. And hopefully, this activity spike would continue for as long as possible.

The season of Spooktober had yet again come to the world of NationStates, and Callista and The Vincence Empire were ready to celebrate. With the recent launch of the fourth Minecraft Realm, region members joined together for a week or so in-game, creating all sorts of amazing, weird, and sometimes useless creations. Activity on the realm tended to peter out as time passed. Not soon after the launch of the realm, Callista nation Saarz sadly CTEd. Following the outcome of the 2021 October Election, member Munie became the first foreign nation to ever hold a public office, that being the office of Homeland Security, replacing long incumbent Caesar von bingen. Also following the outcome of the recent October 1st elections, political candidate Yes humans are recyclable and his suspected puppet nation 8000 were both banned from Callista after investigations by Lieutenant Prime Minister Barlyy into puppet fraud became conclusive. It was after this event that the regional population of Callista really started to steep low into the 40s. Not soon after, it was time for the election of a Judge, which Plus Nova Imperii won. Staying on the note of politics, Prime Minister Baloo Kingdom announced that he would not be running in the 2022 January 1st Election. Upon this announcement, the long-lost wave of political competition was reborn. The Vincince Empire founder, Haruhi Japan, registered the progressive Regional Triumvirate Party in Callista whose goal it is to return to the era of regional bonding from the past. Bluecrown Keep founder, Dominioan, also launched his own Callista political party called the Meritocratic Party whose goal is to return Callista to the government system of the past where the founder chooses the ROs based on personal preference and the WA Delegate is the only elected position. Next up on the calendar was the real-life event of Minecraft Live 2021. Both regions heavily increased their activity on their RMBs for this event, discussing at rarely seen speeds. Not soon after, regional legend Bruxxa officially released a voice and face reveal in the form of a couple of Youtube videos. Around this time, the average day yielded 117 RMB posts in Callista and 178 RMB posts in The Vincence Empire. Spooktober was coming again to a close, which meant that Z-Day was afoot. Both regions chose to officially carry to the roles of zombifiers early on in the event. Neither region was particularly successful in the end when it came to winning the event, however, it also wasn't expected to play out like that. To close out the month, Baloo Kingdom yet again set out a massive wave of recruitment telegrams for Callista, bringing the population back into the comfortable mid-60s and again shrinking The Vincence Empire-Callista population gap. Overall, Spooktober had gone well for both regions. Nothing too negative occurred, and it is to be hoped that the same will apply for the upcoming months.

Following the wane of the spooky season, the time of the turkey had begun. Starting things off, a somewhat controversial decision was made to allow previously-banned The Vincence Empire nation Cerata to enter Callista. This was met with some backlash as some did not believe that they has redeemed themselves in any way. Also at around this time, meme-posting became yet again popular in Callista. The Vincence Empire's roleplay scenarios were growing ever-complex and interesting while not too much occurred politically. Meanwhile, in Callista, the incumbent social organization, the Baloominati, was growing ever-popular with the populace. In reflection of this, an amendment was passed that enforced native representation in the Prime Minister role. This was again met with pushback from those who opposed the incumbent Baloominati, and as a result, caused the amendment to become a sort of rally call for those pro-hyper-democracy. Unfortunately, the second result of this was the disbanding of many of the opposition parties in Callista, decreasing political diversity. Not soon after this, a proposal was created by Barlyy to change the name of the formal name of this history dispatch from "The Saga of Bruxxa" to something other that would honor another person deemed more important in retrospect to our current region. In the end, the name change did not occur. Next, Prime Minister Baloo Kingdom of Callista began a new policy of creating formal partnerships with friendly regions in order to ensure collective security. The first region partnered with was the The Vincence Empire, for obvious reasons, followed by Just Relax and Bluecrown Keep. In another positive turn of events, regional founder Bruxxa regained activity and moved around the regions before settling. Contrastly, Lieutenant Prime Minister of Callista Barlyy had to take a leave of absence due to personal issues. This was met with much sadness in the interregional community, so much so that Barlyy's farewell dispatch stayed #1 Trending in the world for 10 days. Also at around this time, Callista made a feat of finally being considered "Moderate" by the World Assembly, marking a change in the times. Following the absence of Barlyy, Plus Nova Imperii was appointed as Lieutenant Prime Minister and Cerata was elected as the new Judge to replace Plus Nova Imperii. On Monday, November 22nd, 2021, Callista officially turned one year old. Shortly after, on Thanksgiving Day, interregional nations got together to play a small game of Cards vs NationStates. A notable nation that CTEd at around this time was former Judge Poskukune. Sometime later, regional founder Sorianora provided information given by site moderator Sedge that hinted at the soon arrival of the third season of trading cards. This news was well-awaited and somewhat rejuvenated the trading cards scene in the regional line. Callista also reached 3000 pages of their RMB at around this time. After a month of waiting, the Fifth Callista Minecraft Realm was launched on December 2nd, 2021, uniting nations once again in commemoration of the Caves and Cliffs Part 2 update, with Haroldiaistan returning finally from CTEdom. In a surprise turn of events, Barlyy returned from inactivity to the joy of many. Shortly after this, Cerata resigned from the position of Judge and moved back to The Vincence Empire, and Barlyy unanimously was elected to be the interim Judge of Callista. To round out the month full of memes, the memes seamlessly continued...Are you kidding me ??? (WIP)

Starting off this winter era, the Callista-based Minecraft Realm previously mentioned was off to a good start. Nations all across the regional band came together to have some collective fun. A pinnacle point of this time was the expansion of the operations of the Baloominati throughout Callista and the rest of the NationStates world. Baloominti agents and sub-divisions were placed in partner and foreign regions to further the ideals and goal of the Baloominati into other regions to work towards greater unity. Meanwhile, in The Vincence Empire oversaw a merger between itself and The Jewel Robotox Nations, who before was a merger between now-defunct The Robotox Empire and the Jewel Nations. Then, rather suddenly, the Baloominati attempted a coup against the Tsar Sorianora of Callista threatening possible succession if a list of demands were not met. These included the removal of the Tsar from power and the acceptance of the Baloominati as a permanent institution in Callista's government. In the end, the terms were worked down to Sorianora joining and endorsing the Baloominati with power in the Tsar and democracy still remaining intact. Shortly after this, Haruhi Japan, the leader and founder of The Vincence Empire publically announced that The Vincence Empire would no longer consider itself a part of the regional line at least for the time being. This came to the dismay of many in Callista who most of wanted to continue to keep the regional line intact in some way. Nevertheless, the community in Callista continued to grow ever closer to each other, forming bonds that would be hard to break. And in a more general sense, this was part of the experiment of the regional line in itself, to create a community where everyone would feel like they had some purpose in; a region where even though it was small, it could still stand up to the big guys. And upon that note, it was time for Callista's second-ever Christmas. Not too much occurred event-wise, but seasons greetings were frequent. Due to the real-world isolation and reflection time found by many of those affected by the pandemic, numerous informal debates were held around this on the RMBs of the regions. And with that, the year 2021 was over, thus entering the mystery of a year that would be 2022. The January 1st elections for Prime Minister would soon be underway, and with myself, Baloo Kingdom, out of the race, a possible new era of politics was dawning. Candidates Barlyy and Arisyan both would be first-time Prime Ministers if elected. Who knew what the future would bring for NationStates and the Saga of Bruxxa?

The January 2022 Elections were here, and a monumental election it was. In a skewed vote, Barlyy won the election defeating Arisyan. I, Baloo Kingdom, was chosen to be his Lieutenant Prime Minister, and Nooooooooooooooo was chosen to be the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Shortly after, Baloo Kingdom released the official cast list for the next Callistan film parody, 1984: A Callistan Odessey. Fast forward a couple of days, the January 2022 Judge Election was held for Callista, the two candidates being Baloominati member Plus Nova Imperii and Callistan Prosperity Party leader Arisyan. After a deal between the diametrically opposed Callistan Prosperity Party and the Baloominati, dubbed the CPP-Baloominati Deal, the Baloominati revoked their support of Plus Nova Imperii in favor of Arisyan. This was an unwelcome surprise and resulted in the leaving of the Baloominati on the account of Plus Nova Imperii. Now that Barlyy had complete control over the government of Callista, he could begin his extensive agenda of changes and events. First on the list was the final relaxation of the RMB rules, now allowing certain copypastas that had been deemed not of the characteristics of spam. Not soon after, old nation Team leo returned from CTEdom. As commissioned by Barlyy, Nooooooooooooooo created an updated regional banner for Callista in order to reflect more current showings. Also at around this time, the RMB speed was noticed to be much lower than on average in Callista, which prompted future questions about how to increase activity. Also at around this time, the Saga of Bruxxa reached its 900th-day benchmark, a momentous achievement. Back to the trend of Barlyy administration, the Constitution was in need of revision. In these revisions, the Head Justice was added to the internal cabinet, impeachment of government officials was removed as a constitutional right, and all of the additional ministers except the Minister of Foreign Affairs were removed. Now that the Constitution had been revised, Barlyy decided to go to new heights and run for Prime Minister in the upcoming elections of the Institute of Cellulose, his running mate being Zarbik. Their platform was dubbed "The Baloominati Polka". Given the relatively high support for the Baloominati the Institute of Cellulose's current government, this seemed like an easy choice to make, however, it was soon found that accomplishing such a task would be much more difficult than first imagined. Barlyy, under his puppet Briteannia, was constantly under fire from members of the Regionalist Party of the Institute of Cellulose, who generally disliked Barlyy's Callistafication of their region. Anyway, Barlyy decided to partner with Laraniem to create the Larasta Yearly Hedonistic Acts (now featuring Callista). With the help of Hagston, this event was a success, with members of Laraniem and Callista coming together in celebration. To parody Zarbik's Prime Minister address (unmentioned given earlier), Barlyy released his own version, finally officially revealing his voice to the region. Also at around this, Callista, was under fire by members of the Institute of Cellulose, was somewhat forced into creating an official roleplay map in order to prove that the region was in fact capable of doing so. As a result of this, the RMB, which was previously sleepy, had woken up, and dramatically increased in the sense of activity. During this scuttle, and as a result of the Baloominati's seeming betrayal of his trust, long-time member and cofounder of Callista, Plus Nova Imperii, left the region due to what he claimed was a far-stretch from his intentions. Not soon after, the roleplay map previously mentioned was implemented and members of both Callista and The Vincence Empire joined in. The roleplay saw much initial success that continued for some time. In a funny turn of events, the long-dormant comedy series by Dominioan, "Ohio Burger News", released its sixth issue, and also on the topic of dispatches, Prime Minister Barlyy released his extensive masterpiece on the history and current issues of the Baloominati, "The Balooist Legacy". Next, Callista joined the interregional defense pact known as LDR. Meanwhile in The Vincence Empire, things were on the side of change as polls were held by the government to determine the future choices of the region. Almost as quickly as Callista joined the LDR, they had to leave it due to a reconsideration of the legitimacy of the pact on a world-scale among other things. In these dissents issued, and in a sort of ironically Reynolds Pamphlet-like situation, Head Justice Arisyan leaked private government conversations in which Prime Minister Barlyy made remarks about the people of the Institute of Cellulose. Many members of the region took offense to these statements, sparking a long and heated debate over Institute of Cellulose-Callista relations. In the end, however, things cooled down, and no embassies were closed. To close things off, Callista received a new WFE to complement the changes being made. All and all, January was a productive month for Callista, and with a large spike in activity and new members, things could only get better. The Barlyy Administration had been nonstop compared to the previous Baloo Kingdom Administration, a trend that was on the positive side of history.

To start off a very important and eventful time period in the history of Callista and the entire regional line, regional founder Sorianora accidentally ejected and banned Prime Minister Baloo Kingdom from Callista whilst trying to check endorsements. This was reversed almost immediately and was able to cause a short panic. Meanwhile, the regional roleplay map of Callista flourished and caused mich activity on the regional RMB. Numerous roleplay posts were created with much detail to fill up the growing map. History had its eyes on Callista, and in the next step of the Barlyy Administration, an act was passed in the internal cabinet that transformed the regional government of Callista into a one-party state. This act may have been the most controversial act in Callistan history given the intense backlash it received immediately after being implemented by both those in the region and those in friendly regions. Barlyy and other Baloominati supporters argued that this act increased the potential for new ROs to take office given that at the time, there were virtually no opposition parties. Opponents of the One Party State Act claimed that such an act proved that Barlyy was a power-hungry dictator. To continue the trend of controversy, recently unbanned member of Callista, Cerata, was again banned for violating the spam policy. Cerata defended themselves by saying that the current spam policy was not specific enough and that he did not intend to go as far with the spam as the RO team thought he did. In the end, the ban stood. Another player, Very totally free, who had already been under the suspicion of the Callistan government via a tip from
The Vincence Empire, was banned for the usage of racially derogatory terms on the RMB. This ban was also somewhat controversial given that some region members believed their usage of the term was not meant to be derogatory. At around this time, the ex-IWK nation Yazakhastan arrived in Callista and took a pro-Tsar approach to Callistan politics, creating the "Orthodox Church of Callista". The creation of the church caused a dormant pro-Tsar movement to revitalize with newfound vigor, gaining the support of many out-of-region nations. After the other controversies mentioned and the creation of actual opposition to the Baloominati, the internal cabinet decided to repeal the One Party State Act. Now that political parties had become legal again, the Orthodox Church of Callista registered itself as an official political party along with other older opposition parties. In a different light, a good number of voice reveals took place around this time including Yazakhastan, Baloo Kingdom, and Cerata each to their own success. Continuing the previous trend, yet another controversy occurred, this time on the interregional scale when Emperor of The Vincence Empire, New yi empire raided The Tavern with third-party raiders off of bad information. The Tavern was thankfully defended by defenders and was returned. After this, New yi empire went under massive scrutiny after committing such an unprovoked attack on our region's shared history. It was soon found out through an investigation into the scenario in the ban case that New yi empire had been led on to believe that The Tavern was a target to raid by regional founder Haruhi Japan. Haruhi Japan claimed that they had been joking about the said statement and that New yi empire has misunderstood. The case is still controversial to this day. In response to this event, regional founder Sorianora proposed the Historical Region Preservation Act which would work to jointly protect important historical regions from being raided. The act passed and was put into effect immediately. Shortly after this, Head Justice Arisyan announced that they would be going on a prolonged hiatus from NationStates for around a month. As such, an Interim Head Justice needed to be voted upon, the main candidates being The dream of kirby, Yazakhastan, Poskukune, and Dollystana. The election was not held immediately due to the next event in history. Rather unexpectedly, Haruhi Japan announced that they had been considering merging The Vincence Empire with Callista. The statement was rather official, and the reasoning was based on a lack of hope for the long-term success of the region. Many members of Callista were excited by this news, as it meant that the regional line would finally be united for the first time since the Bluecrown Keep. Others were skeptical, saying that migrants from The Vincence Empire would disrupt the flow of Callista and lead to its demise. Change, in general, was the main topic of discussions, and in the end, an official merge was never agreed upon. Also at around this time, upon special arrangement, Prime Minister Baloo Kingdom reached the one-year landmark of his terms in office. After this, on February 18th, the unofficial merge of migrants from The Vincence Empire into Callista began, and despite the merge not being official, the large majority of ex-TVErs joined Callista anyway, however notably without Haruhi Japan. The Interim Head Justice elections were subsequentially started, and after a long and close battle, the Baloominati's endorsement, The dream of kirby, won out with Callistan Orthodox Party leader Yazakhastan coming in second place. During the election, the Baloominati also held primaries for the first time for their April 1st Prime Minister pick. Baloo Kingdom won the straw-poll and Nooooooooooooooo was determined to be the LPM choice. Once the majority of the migrants had arrived, many decided to join the roleplay map and become citizens, causing the already bustling map to become even more bustling and the RMB to zoom. Seeing all this change, Baloominati co-leader and technical Prime Minister Barlyy decided to leave Callista for a new region, Konglomera, with now-on-hiatus Head Justice Arisyan. This was seen as very sad by many and irresponsible by others. And in a shocking turn of real-world events that came in the form of the invasion of Ukraine, Callista's flag was changed to fit the design of the flag of Ukraine to show support. After all that, an exciting time. So much happened; the world turned upside-down. Who knew what would happen in the coming days of Callista?

With the merge of The Vincence Empire into Callista growing ever more distant, activity in Callista spiked. First off on the agenda of the RMB was the further discussion of roleplay reform, something that would become very important in the coming Prime Ministerial election. Talks of what the responsibilities and authority of the roleplay mods were and the nature of a good roleplay post were among the highlighted concerns. Shortly after this, The dream of kirby released his long-awaited update to Haruhi Japan's "Saga of Bruxxa Iceberg" now called "The Callista and Friends Iceberg". The creation of such a keep of information caused great joy in the community of Callista and of those other regions involved. As a result of the aforementioned roleplay-related disputes, as well as a stagnation of the current roleplay map, it was voted on and decided that Callista would have a new roleplay map. This time, the map was only centered around North and Central America (with South America being added later). This specific roleplay saw just as much initial success as the previous, however, the difference here was that the roleplay posts from this roleplay in specific had been extended for the longest period of time in the region's history, and, at the moment that I am recording this, is still ongoing. After the creation of this new map, discussions in the RMB turned from roleplay to the soon to occur Prime Ministerial election. Hot topics regarding this affair involved the continuation of Prime Minister Baloo Kingdom's time in politics, the role and importance of roleplay to Callista, whether or not Callista is worse-off because of the merge, and what kinds of reform were necessary in government and roleplay if any. It was at around that official party voting blocks began to form around the five announced candidacies for Prime Minister, among those including Plus Nova Imperii/Ethics committee of the scpf, Baloo Kingdom/Nooooooooooooooo, Yazakhastan/Unknown, Dollystana/Komahina, and Yes humans are recyclable/Unknown. The Plus Nova Imperii, Yazakhastan, and Dollystana administrations were Tsarist Party aligned while the Baloo Kingdom and Yes humans are recyclable were aligned with the Baloominati. Not soon after, a recent surge in interest in regional politics caused for the resurgence of an effort to formally ban New yi empire from Callista this was done in an unprecedented executive decision by Tsar Sorianora, effectively ending discussion on the matter. Adding to ban the ban crisis, a nation known as "Tiber and Rione" was found to be incredibly suspicious on ban evasion and the such. As a result, the NationStates Moderators were forced to step in and deescalate the scenario. Luckily, nothing was damaged in the process. And to continue the previous paused trends of Callistan RMB behavior, discussions thus resumed on the upcoming Prime Ministerial election. In tandem with this, Yazakhastan claimed, I, Baloo Kingdom's leadership illegitimate in an official statement in the RMB. This, however, never ended up amounting into anything. Proceeding this, after numerous requests, the Sixth Callistan Minecraft Realm was started. This proved to be one of the most popular yet, even outdoing the original and Second Callistan Minecraft Realm in consistent popularity and activity. It was an off-site method of interregional and intraregional friendship-building. Something unrelated; as a response to the widely popular Callista and Friends Iceberg, Baloo Kingdom, with his recently created YouTube channel, released two videos detailing and explaining the iceberg's many entries with some help from Barlyy. These videos gained much traction and served as one of Callista's first reaches past this site itself. In other news, regional line founder Bruxxa made a brief appearance on the RMB, to much of the delight of the people. Also at around this time, Komahina disbanded the LDP of Callista claiming that he had become upset with the Tsarists, and rejoined the Baloominati. This essentially derailed Dollystana's candidacy, now LPM-less. Additionally, Callista reached yet another landmark RMB page number, achieving 4000 pages of RMB posts since the founding of Callista. Estimates conclude that the average day during this time period yielded an average of 270 posts. Shortly after this, as well as due to the flourishing roleplay, Arisyan moved back to Callista from Konglomera, presumptuously ending his break. And thus, discussions began once again on regional politics and the future of roleplay. The main topic of discussion at this time was the creation of a roleplay regional officer that would be directly voted on by the people and would have a final say in roleplay disputes. This was pushed heavily for by the Tsarists and eventually, it was brought to a vote. In the vote, the idea of a roleplay regional officer survived, but it was not yet implemented. The April 1st Prime Minister elections were soon, but due to timing issues, the scheduled debates were cancelled. Over in the Institute of Cellulose, enjoyers of the RMB had to deal with a nation referred to as "Panto" who had repeatedly harassed members of the Institute of Cellulose in past. This became an issue of Callista once Yazakhastan brought up that it was possible that "Panto" could attempt to to the same in Callista. No bans took place, but the warning was there. And finally, it was time for the Prime Minister elections. Due to missing specifications in candidacy, only Baloo Kingdom and Plus Nova Imperii's candidacies were put on the poll, respectively. The poll lasted 12 hours, shorter than the previous elections, and resulted in an unprecedented tie of 13-13. It also had the highest voter turnout rate in all of history up to this point. This had never happened before in Callista, and therefore, there were no constitutional presets on what to do in this scenario. Some suggested the Tsar choose the winners while others preferred to leave the decision to chance. In the end, chance won out, and a wheel spin was live-streamed on the Callistan discord server. Even this wheel spin was drenched in controversy, as a lack of specifications on the nature of the wheel spin led to multiple heated arguments post-spin. However, after a fifth and final spin, things were resolved, leaving spin as a 3-2 win for Baloo Kingdom. Despite the extremely close win, the Baloominati vowed to not underscore the voices of the other half of the region, stating immediate amendments to the constitution needed to be made. Soon drafted and passed were the Election Clarification and Creation of a Minister of Roleplay amendments, which specified what to do in the case of a tie, and created the Minister of Interior Affairs as well as the namesake Minister of Roleplay. To say that this period of Callistan history was an uneventful one would be a severe understatement. The effects of the merge were still being felt and Callista had to find a new footing in its populace. But nevertheless, Callista lived on.

To start off this time in history, we bring ourselves first to the April 2022 Head Justice Election. This election pitted the Independent Yazakhastan against the Baloominati's The dream of kirby and the New Tsarists' Tsardom of Alaska (Dollystana). In the end, and after a rather close race, The dream of kirby once again emerged victorious as Head Justice. Short after this election, saga founder, Bruxxa, started to become more active on the RMBs of Callista and The Tavern much more than his previous long breaks. This new activity leans into the next factoid to share; on the average day, there were roughly 207 RMB posts on the Callistan RMB, slightly less than that of the last time period. Also regarding the RMB, political discussions seemed to coincide with the return of Bruxxa, though unrelated, of which these discussions mainly were that of mainly economic topic. Regardless, it was now time for the very first election of a Minister of Roleplay in the history of Callista. The candidates for this election included the Independent Yazakhastan, the New Tsarists' Ethics committee of the scpf, and the Baloominati's Komahina. Given the roleplay popularity of the Ethics committee of the scpf, it wasn't a surprise that they were the one to come out on top in this monumental election. This marked the first time in a long while in which a party other than the Baloominati won a public election. Hopefully, given the official addition of a Minister based on Roleplay, the majority of roleplay disputes could finally be resolved quickly and without controversy; which for the most part were. In other news, nations Rutabegvile and Dollystana began to co-run a "quote of the day" service that would select a memorable RMB post from Callista to be featured in a dispatch. They're resasoning for its creation was to be a replacement for the now-defunct "quote of the day" from Callista's WFE. In tandem with this, general conversation and roleplay posts remained prevalent while a new map was proposed. This new map was one of fantasy, something that Callista had not yet seen. Given the nature of map, The greater western union was given the role of cartographer. The original roleplay map remained, however it became much less active. Not soon after this, Bruxxa and others brought up the topic of whom was truly the heir of the regional line. This had been a long contested question, which, it turns out, lead to the question of divinity, with Bruxxa claiming that I, Baloo Kingdom, with the turn heir and Sorianora was not actually divine in the canon of the regional line. Others, such as Haruhi Japan argued their own divinity over former member of The Vincence Empire while Yazakhastan continued to defend the authority of the Tsar. Also on the topic of government and power, former Prime Minister Barlyy was doing well politically in other regions, attaining the position of Deputy Prime Minister in Institute of Cellulose. In relation, I, Baloo Kingdom, finally released a special preview of the awaited "1984: A Callistan Odyssey", a parody of 2001: A Space Odyssey. As sort of a soft ending to the 1900s Americas roleplay map, Oilanzandia created a catastrophic oil fire event to end the map in a bit of fun. As a result of the events that transpired during this time, the declaration that Callista had officially become "BCK 2.0" was made by former Head Justice Arisyan. In relation to the notion of historical achievements, it was also suggested at around this time, originally by Dollystana, that the name of this saga, "The Saga of Bruxxa", should be renamed to something that would be more all-encompassing of the regional line as a whole such as "The Saga of Us". I, along with others, both argued for and against a name change, and in the end, the name stayed the same. Not soon after, the next part of the "Callista and Friends Iceberg Explained" series was released on the BalooKingdomYT youtube channel. And on a less fortunate note, Lieutenant Prime Minister Nooooooooooooooo resigned from his position to move to his own region of Karanlik Yollar for the sake of a founder badge for the hopefully nearing third season of NationStates Trading Cards. Nooooooooooooooo moved a puppet nation to Callista to fill his role as Lieutenant Prime Minister called Mushroom Gorge. Lastly, to close out this time period, former Head Justice Cerata notified members of government that his ban term was over. This however, was contested by many in government claiming that either that the original ban was meant to last for an indefinite amount of time and not just few months or that despite this, Cerata did not deserve to be unbanned from Callista. And with that, the section has concluded. Overall, a number of things occurred for positive, and the lasting hope of such things happening again would continue into the future.

Somewhat unfortunately for the regional line, the sloth month of May struck once again. With many of their active members being caught up in some academics-related commitment, Callista just had to make do with the activity it got. To start things up, general RMB conversation and roleplay posts were the two things that could characterize this period in time. The newly-formed fantasy roleplay gave those interested something worthwhile to do, while those uninterested had fun discussing, chatting, and joking with one another. Shortly after the beginning of the month, Minister of Foreign Affairs Barlyy resigned from the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs as a result of personal tragedy. This caused his seat in government to remain vacant for a long while. This was a major point of contention with Tsarists advocating for the seat to be filled by Dollystana and others nominating Yazakhastan Additionally, Arisyan finally went on vacation in the form of quitting NationStates after many months of claiming to do so. On an unrelated note, citizen of Callista, Oilanzandia, created his own region in the form of The League of the Black Droplet. After a raid on said region, and an ensuing flame war reminiscent of the Grieve Tan Tragedy, Oilanzandia was deated by the NationStates moderators and was reincarnated as Boilanzandia. Not long after, The greater western union's fanatsy roleplay map received its own dispatch page on Callista dispatches in order to make the current roleplay system more organized. Filling in the cracks of unimportant historical events was again more fun on the RMB. Whether it be memes, inside jokes, or references, they could be found on the Callista RMB of May 2022; Callista then reached the milestone of the RMB page 4500. Reinvigorating the theme of political events, Yazakhastan switched the direction and leaning of his political party from the "Orthodox Party of Callista" to the "Peoples Party of Callista". As a result, the idea of adding an official bill of rights to the Callista constitution was brought forth. This discussion was mainly ended by Barlyy's argument that the rights of the people are already listed in the constitution. Offsite, the BalooKingdomYT YouTube channel was growing in attention and video count, serving as an additional regional pastime. Back to the site, Barlyy re-entered the NationStates Trading Card game once again gaining an astonishing 14,000 bank in a single day. Slightly related, Barlyy also co-authored a World Assembly declaration against the use of inflation in the NationStates Trading Card community. This proposal was brought into quorum and as of the writing of this section, looks to pass. And finally, to wrap up the month, on June 8th the seventh Callista Minecraft Realm was opened; this time themed around the recently released "Wild Update" to the game. As of the writing of this section, this realm in particular has seen somewhat above average activity. And with that, the month has been finished. In general, a rather slow-paced 30 days, but still eventful enough.

After a while of the “same old same old”, the events leading up to the July 2022 Callistan Prime Minister Elections came to shake some things up. Starting this trend was the successful passing of a World Assembly Security Council declaration co-authored by former Prime Minister of Callista and founder of Konglomera, Barlyy. Although Barlyy insisted the achievement with insignificant, it made history in being the first site-wide permanent imprint made by Callista. Some time after, Callista Now! politician Yazakhastan required character witnesses for the hopeful repeal of their ban from the Institute of Cellulose, and many citizens of Callista came to their aid. Later, the planned Baloo’s No Bison Burger Plane Trip event began and had montages posted to YouTube. On the more political side of things, members of the New Tsarist Party (soon the Constitutional Tsarist Party) questioned at-the-time Lieutenant Prime Minister and Prime Minister candidate Nooooooooooooooo regarding whether or not he was fit to candidate for Prime Minister, with Baloominati members pitching their opinions in as well. Regardless, Nooooooooooooooo did not drop his candidacy. Not soon after, Plus Nova Imperii started yet another new historical roleplay in Callista this time themed around the idea of a world without WWI. After this, roleplay and general discussion on the RMB made a fairly decent pace although barely quelling the “summer slump” fears of members of the Callistan RMB. In a twist of events, due to the choice to endorse the Nooooooooooooooo-Dollystana candidacy for the July 2022 elections as well as an eagerness for a change of administration, Baloominati co-leader Barlyy officially left the organization in favor of the New Tsarist Party. This represented a dramatic shift in the tone of regional politics, one that had been coming for a long time. On a different note, the previously permanently banned nation Ofthelord’s ban from Callista was reconsidered but ultimately denied. But back on topic with regional politics, the Prime Ministerial debates were back but with the new concept of simply being interviews showcasing the viewpoints of candidates Nooooooooooooooo, Plus Nova Imperii, and Yazakhastan to the voting populace. These interviews were brought to life with text-to-speech programs are uploaded to the BalooKingdomYT YouTube channel. With the lack of a structured debate, arguments were left to the RMB. Mainly on the chopping block at the time was the apparent lack of replacement made for Barlyy’s position of Minister of Foreign Affairs after his brief hiatus from the site. This was brought up as a point of Baloominati incompetence but ultimately ruled to be a misunderstanding built on the fact that regional founder Sorianora forgot to appoint the Baloominati replacement, that being Dollystana. In real life, the death of famous Minecraft YouTuber Technoblade prompted a memorial message on the regional announcements for Callista. And then, it was finally here; the July 2022 Prime Minister Elections. Under the Baloominati were Nooooooooooooooo and Dollystana, under the New Tsarist Party were Plus Nova Imperii and Ethics committee of the scpf, and under Callista Now!/PPC were Yazakhastan and Feylania. After a close tie for the majority of the day, a small lead by the New Tsarist Party paired with a lack of voter turnout for the Baloominati led to Nooooooooooooooo conceding defeat. For the first time since the dawn of Callista, the Tsarist Party had been placed back into power. Thankfully, when compared to the previous Prime Minister election, the July 2022 Prime Minister Election was much less full of controversy; and besides typical questions of vote legality, the inability for new Prime Minister Plus Nova Imperii to gain the seat of World Assembly Delegate from Sorianora and myself was a point of contention soon resolved. A week later, it was time for the July 2022 Head Justice Election. The Baloominati hailed myself, Baloo Kingdom, as well as Zebruski, and Callista Now! hailed Yazakhastan. Similar to the first elections featuring the Baloominati, the Baloominati was able to secure a significant lead and victory, sparking my becoming of Head Justice. Three days afterward, however, a lack of communication caused the July 10th Minister of Roleplay Election was missed and set to be delayed to later date. Until then, Callista did not have a Minister of Roleplay. This mix-up prompted the proposal of additional constitutional amendments, pairing with those made immediately after the recent Prime Minister Election to clarify election rules. The new amendment, and those prior, aimed to clarify rules on who could vote and what to do in case of the incident that has just occurred. But to close out this more eventful month period, a bit of drama erupted in the attempted raid of The Tavern by Lily. The raid was foiled by Bruxxa who oddly joined Lily afterward. And with this mystery, this ends what may indeed be the beginning of a completely new era for Callista.

In order properly introduce the new era of Callista, the delayed election of a new Minister of Foreign Affairs needed to be held. The runnings of this election in particular were Yazakhastan of the Callista Now! party, The greater western union of the Constitutional Tsarist Party, and former Lieutenant Prime Minister Nooooooooooooooo of the Baloominati. The greater western union was able to claim victory with a comfortable margin, solidifying trend of decreased Baloominati influence in regional politics. Not long after the election, the Baloo's No Bison Burger Plane Trip officially came to an end. Not even too long after that, myself, Baloo Kingdom, became the first known member of Callista to become an issues author. To back to the previous section's unfinished plotlines, Bruxxa explained to Callista that he had joined Lily out of the desire to reacquire interest in NationStates. And that was about the end of that. At about that time, Yazakhastan's Callista Now! evolved into the Church of True: a traditional regional religion that incorporated elements of Bluecrown theology with the early-founder lore of the regional line. Through its very controversial rise, it managed to deal with pushback long enough and well enough to remain in existence. Following Barlyy's temporary explained hiatus from NationStates, the Rome Administration decided to replace Barlyy's position of Minister of Foreign Affairs with party member Ferneus. As a result of this obligatory administrative move, multiple stalled amendments to the constitution of Callista were put up to the process of acceptance. First up was yet another election clarification amendment, authored by myself, which one made into law further specified the procedures for more rare occurrences in elections. Continuing the activity train was Yazakhastan's proposal to replace the national anthem of Callista with a piece less monarchy-associated than "God Bless the Tsar", but after some discussion, the current anthem remained. As this was happening, Prime Minister Plus Nova Imperii announced a dispatch contest to be held inter-regionally; the first event of this kind to be held in a while. After this event was said and done, Nooooooooooooooo was declared the winner. Following the decision to unban former Head Justice Cerata officially from Callista, Cerata briefly rejoined the region to stay his short ban from Institute of Cellulose. Matching the trend of call-backs to the past of the regional line, an alleged puppet account of Dominion remnants called Tolarian academy messaged members of Callista through the RMB and telegrams reminding older members of what came before them. The Church of True saw this as a sign that their prophecies of the return of the ancient were true and Tolarian academy confirmed this to an extent. Others, however, remained skeptical and cautious. On a completely different note, I, Baloo Kingdom again became the WA Delegate of Callista despite the role meaning to go to Plus Nova Imperii either due to a lack of concern for the seat of the World Assembly delegacy or the hard to reverse hold on the position the Baloominati held for over a year prior. Back on the topic of constitutional amendments, Plus Nova Imperii's judicial review amendment made it through the voting process and became law, giving the Head Justice the constitutional ability to change the Constitution and it's amendments through court rulings appropriately. Seemingly returning from his hiatus, Barlyy demanded to the Rome Administration that he receive his role as the Minister of Foreign Affairs back from Ferneus, which was done. On the extra-NationStates side of things, content for the potential Undertale parody game BCKTale was released through both the dispatch contest in the form of additional character concept sprites and on the BalooKingdomYT YouTube channel in the form of concept music tracks. Also at around this time, Dollystana's meme region Mc Mc Mc became the featured region of the day on the NationStates World page. To revitalize the regional roleplay aspect of Callista, the Rome Administration organized a unique mafia-based roleplay open to region members and members of embassies to join. The roleplay saw immediate success and as of the writing of this section, remains strong. And to close off yet another section of regional history, a short but heated argument between members of the Constitutional Tsarist Party and the Baloominati/Church of True began over the nature of each other's rise and fall and so on. Luckily, as previously stated, this argument was short lived, and each differences were left aside at least mostly.

Following a period of time that had waned the Great Slump of 2022, a new period of temporary bliss had arrived. The Callista Mafia Roleplay continued to see good activity and lasted essentially to the end of this section. With this roleplay and the end of summer boost in activity, the RMB was looking up in activity, nothing stellar, but certainly much better than the slump. Not soon after, word of a possible third Drewpocalypse, this time in the form of a Tiktokpocalypse was looming over NationStates. Members of the RMB discussed their takes on the matter, although nothing of note resulted from the word. This was followed by a minor roleplay dispute that was resolved within the day. Later, the BalooKingdomYT channel uploaded a QnA video with Callista and Institute of Cellulose submitted questions, bringing Callista further onto YouTube. On the more technical side of the region, the topic of the RMB warning was brought up by government officials for discussion and reconsideration. The Constitutional Tsarist Party tended to advocate for a more forgiving system that would also better keep track of grievances while Baloominati-allied members maintained the current system worked fine. In the end, nothing much came of the discussion, yet again. Fueling more activity on the RMB was yet another rehash of The Vincence Empire-Callista Merge feud. Komahina (Haruhi Japan) argued that there were multiple faulty aspects of The Vincence Empire that were the responsibility of his previous subjects rather than his own, while some Callistans as well as previous members of The Vincence Empire argued that the region was doomed from the start and that this discussion should have been dead in the water by now. Continuing the trend of arguments, political candidates Barlyy and Nooooooooooooooo dug up old graves into trenches and duked it out over a battle of "who's the worst". In the end, everybody agreed to put their differences aside...probably until election week. In a case of deja vu, The Tavern was raided yet again, this time by Lily. For the first time in a while, Callista actually launched a defender raid of The Tavern, comprising of myself and Plus Nova Imperii, that was successful in reclaiming the region. Bruxxa was able to reassert proper order of things shortly after the successful defense. As a result, however, the World Assembly Delegacy of Callista fell yet again away from an elected official, and instead to Tsar Sorianora who remains Delegate for the remainder of this section. In the end of an era, Yazakhastan moved from Callista back to the Institute of Cellulose after a successful ban appeal. And then, the beginnings of the crisis. After doing a sussy goofy ahh roleplay in the Bluecrown Keep RMB, Dominioan and Nooooooooooooooo were both DEATed by the NationStates Moderators. This was both a shock to some and a breeze to others. Regardless, this was the largest blow to the player base we had seen in a while. Luckily of the two involved, neither of their main puppets were harmed and they lived on as normal with Galactic Powers (Dominioan) and Mushroom Gorge (Nooooooooooooooo) respectively. This also prompted Nooooooooooooooo's region, Karanlik Yollar to be jeopardized and therefore naturally duplicated in the form of the region, Dark Paths. These events, however, also prompted other members of Callista to consider taking a permanent break from the game including Dollystana and Arisyan. Similarly to The Tavern, the old puppet storage of The Vincence Empire, New Vincencia was raided. Unfortunately, that raid stood. Adding to the CTE Crisis was the of DEAT of Dollystana after allegedly doxxing Plus Nova Imperii on the RMB of Callista. With this many people getting their main accounts removed, questions on the stability of Callista were raised, but ultimately dismissed. To take people's minds off of the crisis, I started up the eighth Callista Minecraft Realm, at least to much initial success. Barlyy, under the account Barl goodman, then did a fun straw poll on the comedic outcome of the upcoming October 1st Election, in which, the winner was hard to determine due to numerous fraud voters. And to finish out the section is the CTEing of ye old nation Yes humans are recyclable; hopefully due to trends in activity, they would return soon. Luckily, it at least seemed that Callista had survived another month, and hopefully, it would survive the next.

If the previous section was any indication of what would occur in the next, we'd be in for a surprise. To start things off, Mushroom Gorge was appointed as Minister of Internal Affairs under Plus Nova Imperii to fill to position with someone more active. Almost simultaneously, Arisyan showed up briefly with an update post detailing how great life had become because they no longer had to worry over NationStates. Like usual, regional roleplay continued as normal, although it became sparse at times similar to the previous section. In real life, Queen Elizabeth II died, and the people of NationStates paid their respects and pondered the implications of this historic moment. Next, Mushroom Gorge released "Ohio Burger News #9", continuing the long-running on-and-off series of satire regional news. Due to a combination of the approaching site-wide event, N-Day, and some minor recruiting and revival efforts by Komahina, activity on the RMB of Callista shot up and remained consistently high until the day after the upcoming October 1st Prime Minister elections. And so, N-Day⁷ began; because Callista did not choose a faction name, Callistans were encouraged to join the Institute of Cellulose's faction, the Institute of Kaboom. Like usual, the big faction ended up dominating and winning the event, leading to general apathy in smaller factions like Institute of Kaboom. In other news, Komahina's faction, called The Dark Plague, reached number 7 on the scoreboard. As a result of the activity spike, the 5000th page of Callista's RMB was reached. After this point, a new political climate begun, one with a considerable divide between hardcore Tsarists and hardcore Balooists. Starting this was Bruxxa's removal of myself as the heir to the regional line, being replaced by Haruhi Japan (Komahina). Despite this, pro-Baloo sentiment remained prevalent, but often not as much as pro-CTP sentiment. As a result, Barlyy brought Yazakhastan, a loud Balooist advocate to court over defamation charges, the first court case in a long while. I, being Head Justice, presided over the case and after the presenting of evidence and some debate, Yazakhastan was deemed "Not Guilty", however, was also barred from future near-defamatory speech. During this, The H Corporation introduced an interregional flag contest, whose winner was eventually determined to be The greater western union. Not soon after, the candidate interviews, hosted by then Prime Minister Plus Nova Imperii were held between CTP candidate Ethics committee of the scpf and Baloominati candidate Mushroom Gorge, shortly after which the elections begun. The October 1st 2022 Prime Minister elections also included Cerata, but they were absent from the debates and eventually disqualified for not being a citizen of Callista. The elections were going smoothly until it was uncovered by Barlyy that Mushroom Gorge had committed puppet fraud with at least three puppets. Mushroom Gorge admitted this and left the region with the puppets. Barlyy pressed charges against Mushroom Gorge and his puppets and intially myself as well. I then presided over the case after charges were dropped against me and after some deliberation and presentations of evidence, Mushroom Gorge and his puppets were banned from Callista temporarily. Needles to say, Ethics committee of the scpf and the CTP won the election automatically, solidifying CTP control over the regional government. Many cite this as the definite end of the Baloominati. Shortly after the CTP victory, Ethics committee of the scpf released their cabinet picks and nominations for the soon Head Justice and Minister of Roleplay Elections, but Tsar Sorianora took the Minister of Roleplay nomination as official and appointed nominee Ferneus to the position. Regardless, the Baloominati only retained one position from the previous organization. Because of the events of the Prime Minister election, many were suspicious of newcomers to Callista believing them to be puppets of Mushroom Gorge; no nations were convicted. Supposedly at around this time, the social networking app Tiktok had a sudden interest in NationStates and spurred a small "Tiktokpocalypse" which didn't seem to effect Callista all that much. But alas, the October 8th Head Justice elections were upon the region, this time pitting the CTP former Prime Minister Plus Nova Imperii against the incumbent Head Justice, myself as well as Cerata yet again. The election remained close the majority of the race, with Cerata dropping out and accidentally causing the election to tip in Plus Nova Imperii's favor, resulting in a CTP victory. As a reflection of the previous flag contest, The Great Hiatus (The H Corporation) started a short spooky story contest, the winner of which had not been decided as of the writing of this section. Back on the political side of things, new Lieutenant Prime Minister Barlyy introduced the "Judicial Reform Act" amendment, which would grant the power of Judicial Review to the Head Justice and establish the new appointed role of Chief Prosecutor, to a vote. The amendment passed 11-1. Lastly, on the YouTube side of things, the BalooKingdomYT channel released a long-delayed NSCards video. Overall, this time period averaged 158 RMB posts a day, much higher than the previous few, showing significant growth for Callista and a rebound from the CTE Crisis and summer activity slump. Times were definitely changing for Callista.

As it tends to be with the RMB, the rough month of November, being fixed in the middle of election seasons wasn't as active as October. But to start things off, Mushroom Gorge's ban from Callista's Discord server, which wasn't too much. Shortly after, Barlyy yet again decided to leave NationStates indefinitely, an event that disheartened many Callistans, despite the fact that they would eventually return a few weeks later. And with Barlyy's leave came Poskukune's return. But in order to move on from specific nations, Z-Day¹¹ was upon Callista, but things seemed to go well initially with efforts to stay zombie-free. That was until Komahina and a few others began to infect the region with zombies leading to an inevitable zombie takeover of Callista despite many's efforts to find cures. To give some hope to those hoping for the release of Season 3 of NationStates trading cards, the NationStates developer team released an update to the trading card system that effectively removed the inflation of cards for the most part as well as make some other changes to how stats effect certain traits. The most consequential part of this update, however, was that it caused a worldwide crash in DV with many seeing upwards of a 75% reduction in DV, usually higher for those with many inflated cards. This received mixed reception, but overall, many were able to recover their standings in the world of NationStates trading cards. Mirroring events in the real world, those on the RMB of Callista began to discuss the United States 2022 Midterm Elections as well as share their philosophies of society and how it should and shouldn't work. Certainly some interesting stuff. And then, at long last, for the 20th Birthday of NationStates, the NationStates trading cards Season 3 preview began. This was to the joy of pretty much everyone who had been waiting over two years for this long-anticipated arrival. Both founder Sorianora and Barlyy managed to achieve cards of the "epic" rarity with other such as myself and Plus Nova Imperii achieving "ultra-rare" status. Not shortly after in the real world, the 8 billionth person was born, which is somewhat off-topic. Just as the 8 billionth person was brought into the world, Rutabegvile was brought back into the world of NationStates. In order to stimulate RMB growth, Ethics committee of the scpf, Plus Nova Imperii, and a few others started new roleplay, this time centered around a Callistan Civil War. The map was limited mainly to Russia and Eastern Europe which caused a sometimes needed constraint. In tandem to this, Season 3 was officially released about a week after announced and just about everyone in Callista was trying to get their hands on their card as soon as possible. Some were successful, and others went ahead and tried to get the card of everyone in the region. To continue the trend of real world events influencing the RMB, the Qatar 2022 World Cup began and occasionally member of the RMB would post opinions or updates on the games. Returning to the game side of things, CTP regional officer The siberian confederacy, was decided to be sacked due to non-existent activity for over a month. No replacement was officially chosen and they ceased to exist a few days later. To round out the timeframe, Callista hit yet another major milestone, this time being its second anniversary. On November 22nd, 2022, a day that surprisingly many Callistans missed, Callista became a two-year-old region. The time after this was filled mainly with random casual discussions and roleplay posts for the Callistan Civil War roleplay. Despite technically being a slump month, a couple very significant things did indeed happen. Perhaps the slump stemmed from a misconception on the parameters of regional activity. Or perhaps not.

This particular section of the history dispatch was difficult to write, but to start things off the infamous month of November ended, beginning the festive month of December. After the advent of the final month of 2022, things in Callista were standard. Mostly an abundance of casual posts and discussion in anticipation of the end of the year festivities. To spice things up a bit the long-dormant nation Viciebskaja once again rose from the dead to say hello on the RMB of Callista, much to the delight of many. As the third season of NationStates Trading Cards had recently released, a race for whomever could complete the full collection of cards containing the region of Callista stamped upon them had begun in the background. And so, casual discussion continued on the RMB. This was immediately followed by a sudden emphasis on regional politics the sooner the election for Prime Minster came. The majority of discussions involved candidacies and issues with the current and past administrations. To top it off, Callista dispatches ended up accidentally CTEing, bringing a bit of attention to government inactivity. Shortly after, Barlyy decided to temporarily retire from NationStates. As a result, Konglomera ended up empty and unwatched and so it was raided by Haruhi Japan. To get back to more positive things, the ninth Minecraft realm of Callista was opened to the public and was at least initially a massive success. Continuing the trend of historical regions being raided, The Tavern was raided by an unknown raider force originating from Suspicious. Almost immediately afterward, NationStates unexpectedly went down due to a server failure. According to Max Barry and the game moderation team, the site would take a couple of days to get back up and have the servers restored. And so, for about five days, no one had access to NationStates. NationStates returned on December 27th with just enough time for players to prepare for the new year. The folks who returned after their forced hiatus had been previously forced to communicate through Discord or just to simply touch grass. With that, 2022 was over. On the first hours of 2023, Mushroom Gorge's regional ban from Callista was finally lifted, allowing him to post on the RMB but not vote or hold office in the regional government. Speaking of elections, because NationStates went down in prime election season, the government agreed to delay the elections for Prime Minister to January 15th. The first unfortunate thing that happened in 2023 was regional legend Arisyan CTEing from inactivity as a result of his retirement from the site. Unfortunately, at about this time, Barlyy ended up in the hospital after sustaining injuries from a fall. Shortly after, Galactic Powers proposed an updated coat of arms from Callista that featured references to historical figures. This new coat of arms was met with a lot of approval, and the new coat of arms was to be implemented very soon after. The penultimate event of the section was the controversy that surrounded the region of Red Wolf Alliance, with friendly region Alcris urging Callista to cut ties lest ties but cut with them. As of the writing of this section, no consensus has been made on the matter and embassies remain open both ways. And for the final event, we have Poskukune’s CTEing; yet another old legend who has left the regional circle. Overall, I would say that this section was a much larger mixed bag than the last, whether that could be considered a good thing or a bad thing.

Coming out of the previous section of history lays a much lengthier chapter in the Callistan story. It all started with the January Prime Minister election season ramping up. As mentioned prior, due to the NationStates multi-day server crash near the end of December 2022, the Callistan Prime Minister Election was pushed back to the later day of January 15th rather than January 1st. The prime points of contention were the activity of the Ethics committee of the scpf’s administration, the capabilities of the Baloominati to run the region, and whether or not the government should continue to run the way it had in the past. In the time before the election, a number of other topics were discussed on the now very typically chatroom-esque RMB of Callista. These real-world topics mainly focused on the United States budget deficit and American economics in general. Plus Nova Imperii took some time to purge a handful of embassies that had fallen below our embassy requirements or had been raided since the last check. It was also around this time that the Callistan flag was changed back to its new Ukrainian background from the holiday season. For the final bit of discussion before the election, both CTP and Baloominati members deliberated on taking action on regional founder Sorianora’s inactivity problem. The Baloominati suggested an executive delegacy, while some CTP members pondered a possible break-off region. In the end, it was decided that Sorianora should choose a trustable member of Callista to give his account password to so that the person who received it could be more active and carry out the executive function of the founder account without having to wait for Sorianora to log on. However this plan remained on hold for now, because election day was here. The candidates were Plus Nova Imperii, under the Constitutional Tsarist Party, and myself, under the Baloominati. The election day itself was chock-full of turbulence in the form of disenfranchised voting, partisan rambling, and controversies. In the end, I was elected as Prime Minister garnering almost ⅔ of the vote after an intense election. The CTP conceded, and the Baloo Administration’s cabinet was installed. There was an attempt to create a more bipartisan cabinet, but the majority of the cabinet was still Baloominati, resulting in outrage from some CTP members. In the gap between the Prime Minister Election and the Head Justice Election, East cash universe made a return to Callista to say hello again. But as always, it was time for another election. The two candidates for Head Justice were again Plus Nova Imperii under the Constitutional Tsarist Party as well as Caesar von bingen, who under technical terms, ran under the Baloominati despite having membership in both the Baloominati and the CTP. During the election itself, which took place on February 18th, Caesar von bingen’s candidacy drew questions from the CTP opposition as Caesar von bingen has been listed under the Baloominati in the election poll. Some CTP members argued that the only reason the election had been so close was because of the Baloominati name attached to Caesar von bingen, which they claimed should not be associated. Regardless, Caesar von bingen still ended up winning the election by a very small margin. Shortly after said election, I proposed a new amendment to the constitution, the main objective of which was to create the regional officer position of Minister of Recruitment. After some disagreement and discussion, the amendment ended up passing at a later point by a slim majority, and Komahina was made the first Minister of Recruitment. As a result, recruitment efforts dramatically increased in Callista, and after some time, the regional population had risen as high as 80 nations. Also at around the same time, Yazakhastan decided to reintroduce the Church of True to Callista and become somewhat more active in the region’s affairs. Then it was time for the Minister of Roleplay Election, which ended up not being an election at all. The Baloominati fielded no candidates, as did no other party besides the CTP. Their candidate, former Prime Minister Ethics committee of the scpf, therefore won by default, becoming the Minister of Roleplay. As this occurred, it became the first point in many months where that government had been completely full and active. The next day, January 21st, the official puppet storage region of Callista, New Callista, became the featured region of the day on the NationStates "World" page. To finally cap off the saga of determining what to do about Sorianora’s inactivity, Sorianora himself simply decided to give I, Baloo Kingdom, the password to his account. This was taken a number of different ways by the Callistan public, if not simply being surreal to most. Continuing the trend of implementing new reforms, Unified Democratic Europe, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, drafted an updated set of embassy laws to be voted on. They passed virtually unopposed, showing some good bipartisan progress. During this process, retired member Arisyan made a brief return to NationStates to give an update on how his life was going and to say hello to his friends in Callista and elsewhere. After all of that politics, conversation in Callista shifted back to the casual and ideological discussion of the real world. Topics included Super Bowl XLII, the drama over the Chinese spy balloons, earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, the math skills of certain members of government, the 2023 State of the Union Address, and dystopian novels. One political thing did happen in this timeframe however, there were debates over whether Callista should accept the United Regions of Valeria’s invitation to join them. The people of Callista overwhelmingly declined the offer. On February 10th, the regional line became officially 1300 days old. Shifting shortly back again to discussion of the real world, Callistans spent time discussing the recent derailment of a chemical-carrying cargo train in East Palestine, Ohio. On February 14th, the site-wide contest for “Best Nation” was again held after the success of the previous. In Callista, the nation Bartratina was voted the best in the region collectively by the site. Given the time of year, it was once again the season for the Great Ohioan Disappearance, but some short time before that, there was a small but notable phenomenon of Callistans wearing my flag. This ended once people started to edit parts of the WFE and regional flag to also bear resemblance to my own flag and persona. After the Great Ohioan Disappearance had concluded, Poskukune made another one of his periodic appearances. Not soon after, on February 23rd, Callista reached its 5500 RMB page milestone. And not soon after that, the now biannual N-Day, this now being N-Day⁸, was upon Callista. This time around, Callista had no official plans to create its own faction, so members were recommended to join a friendly region’s faction or a large and powerful one. The interregional communication spurred on by N-Day⁸ stirred the idea of renewing some of Callista’s alliances with other regions. This idea was highly disliked by the CTP, who reasoned that the alliances would mean nothing and waste time, and highly favored by the Baloominati, who reasoned that there would be no harm as a result of establishing more formal ties with close regions such as The Vincence Empire and Institute of Cellulose. In the end, nothing was decided on the subject. And to wrap up this section of history came a surprisingly successful roleplay seeing some pressure from the Baloo administration while also gaining self-motivation, both Plus Nova Imperii and Ethics committee of the scpf formed a roleplay they deemed as “The Final Callistan Roleplay”. However, seeing the massive amount of activity it spurred, it may be said that this will not be the final roleplay for Callista. But only time will tell, as well as the approaching April 1st Prime Minister Election.

Going into our next slightly-over-one-month period of time, The greater western union returned from CTEdom and the “Final Callistan Roleplay” continued as strong as ever. Moving away from the game side of things, Tsardom of Alaska created the r/baloominati subreddit, which, to my knowledge, hasn’t taken off yet. As the roleplay was continuing to be overly-successful, questions emerged on whether or not making casual or discussion posts on the RMB was even viable anymore. These issues would soon be resolved as the balance between casual talk and roleplay began to stabilize. At around this time, Mushroom Gorge inconspicuously left Callista for the Bluecrown Keep. Also at around this time, Sorianora was able to make a more full return to his NationStates account that previously was being handled by myself. To give some statistics regarding the speed of the RMB throughout this time, the average number of RMB posts a day was 161.4, somewhat close to the RMB speed of early Callista. To add onto the list of nation account changes, the long-standing nation Haroldiaistan CTEd yet again. This happened whilst discussion of the next possible Callistan Minecraft realm began again, resulting in a petition for Haroldiaistan to be banned from the next realm as a punishment for his shenanigans in the previous realms. The petition garnered a significant proportion of signatories from the whole of typical realm members, prompting the rethinking of realm policy. Filling the void of the next week or so was more of the “Final Callistan Roleplay”, which seemed to be the only thing that filled the minds of those in Callista as well as those from participating allied regions. Returning from roleplay, Callista received an invitation to join the NationStates Trans Alliance. This proposal, after some brief discussion, was popularly rejected, solidifying the tendency of Callista to disclude themselves from regional alliances. Shortly thereafter, upon purchasing the extremely rare Cornroof Season 3 trading card, I became the first person to complete the Season 3 Callista card collection. Also at around this time: despite facing a slew of possible spam reforms, ultimately, no reforms were officially proposed or passed. Because the Prime Minister Elections were nearing, debates between the two candidates, myself and Galactic Powers under the Baloominati and Plus Nova Imperii and Ethics committee of the scpf under the Constitutional Tsarist Party, were scheduled for a point in time before the April 1st Election. As a result of the indeterminate nature of the debate’s time, the debates never ended up happening. And so, the April 1st 2023 Prime Minister Election was underway. Somewhat surprisingly, this election cycle ended up being probably the calmest and most cordial of any that had come before it. It seemed that no hard feelings had been felt between either party, at least for the most part. In the end, I was able to secure another term in office. Not soon after the elections had concluded, Unified Democratic Europe announced that he would be leaving Callista for the West Pacific, claiming that Callista had changed too much from the version that he knew. Shortly after Unified Democratic Europe left, NationStates released its possible late-April-Fools update, adding regional maps to the game. Plus Nova Imperii was the first to upload a copy of the roleplay map at the time, and for a short while, Callista’s map was the seventh most endorsed in the world, soon being overtaken by feeders and larger UCRs. Returning once again from his infinite NationStates vacation, Arisyan- made yet another appearance on the RMB of Callista. As times had changed, Mushroom Gorge decided it was time to update the regional banner yet again, updating some of the countryball art and adding and subtracting nations. On April 6th, 2023, the embassy between Callista and the Institute of Cellulose reached its two-year anniversary. This was seen by many as yet another accomplishment of the long-lasting friendship between two young UCRs. Feeling compelled by history, Barrow Cove released an insightful dispatch titled, “The Tavern: A lively hall to a dim memory”, giving details into the early days of the regional line and apologizing for his past actions. As sort of a break from the eternally final roleplay, discussion in Callista turned towards real-world politics and ideologies, at least for a short while. Just like that, the April 2023 Head Justice Election for Callista was right around the corner. However, things would soon take a historic turn. Following talks between lead party officials in both the Baloominati and the CTP, it was agreed that a bargain would be made for these usually elected positions. Plus Nova Imperii was to be given the Head Justice position and Ethics committee of the scpf was to be given the Minister of Recruitment position in exchange for Komahina receiving the Minister of Roleplay position and Caesar von bingen receiving the Chief Prosecutor position. Not since the 2021 heyday of the Baloominati had a deal of such magnitude been struck, but even then, not on this scale. Regardless, this meant the cancellation of the Head Justice and Minister of Roleplay Elections in 2023 for the month of April. Not too long after the deal had been struck, Bruxxa made a brief appearance to speak with Callista just in time for Easter. And just as Easter ceased, so did long-time mystery Messenger a. It was at around this time when the RMB of Callista reached its 5800 page milestone, fairly standard for Callista’s average RMB speed. And it was then when the highly-anticipated NationStates “Frontiers” update was released. Sorianora was automatically designated as Governor of Callista, and shortly thereafter, Plus Nova Imperii was made Successor to the position of Governor, finally cementing his claim to the Tsarevich. Galactic Powers also decided to transition Bluecrown Keep into a Frontier. To close out this chapter in history came the drama that began with the attempted reclamation of the historical region New World Roman Empire. When it was pointed out that there were a suspicious number of raider puppets in the region, Callista’s usually dormant military sect went into action. Things were complicated when defenders arrived in the region, either presuming the Callistan military to be a raider faction or neglecting to immediately pass the region on to its rightful owners, securing the delegacy. In addition to this, defenders flooded into Callista to simultaneously defend us from a quorum raid alleged called by the Communist Bloc due to my own approval of a proposal to prevent the Communist Bloc from transitioning into a Frontier. This temporarily inflated Callista’s population to well over 100 nations, a rather interesting way to reach that important milestone. Once the proposal had reached quorum, the threat of a raid ceased, and the defenders began to gradually filter out of Callista. On the New World Roman Empire side of the drama, things were not as clear, and as of writing this, the fate of the region is unclear. It should be noted, however, that someone, possibly the defenders, has restored the original WFE of the region. Only the time between now and the next update will tell the fates not yet sealed in the present.

Before I continue with chronicling the next section of our history, I would like to resolve some of the tension left by the previous section. As of the writing of this section, New World Roman Empire seems to remain in the same state as it did almost two months ago. New World Roman Empire still has its old restored WFE from the days long ago when it was a functioning region, and still is filled with a couple remaining defender puppets, which seem to be gradually CTEing. With that out of the way, I can continue. As it seems to be usual, roleplay posting, casual discussion, and real-world political commentary remained the largest driving forces in the RMB of Callista, each holding a fairly equal portion of this section’s activity. The Church of True spread some of the last of its prophecies, and hasn’t been heard of much since. In the middle of May of 2023, a new amendment, the first in a couple of months and the second of 2023, was proposed by Head Justice Plus Nova Imperii. This new amendment would serve the purpose of creating an official successor to Tsar Sorianora in any case where he could no longer hold the duties of the Tsardom. This successor, Plus Nova Imperii himself, had been unofficially the Tsar’s successor up until that point, but the amendment simply made it official, utilizing the recent NationStates “Frontiers” Update as well. The amendment passed without much pushback, and shortly after it passed, the Callista meme dispatch was finally updated after many months of no new content with several new memes from The Great Hiatus/The H Corporation. Over in the Institute of Cellulose, Cormoe became Prime Minister, making way for a new age of interregional politics between the Institute of Cellulose and Callista. At around the same time, over in Bluecrown Keep, things were looking up, at least for a while. This was a result of an effort made by Galactic Powers, Enaia, and Mushroom Gorge to secure executive power of Bluecrown Keep through the transitioning of the region into a Frontier. After some time, this change was reversed to ensure Galactic Powers remained governor. Following trends of change in other regions, Haruhi Japan decided that it was time for The Vincence Empire to end. This made way for a successor region called The Vincence Pact, also founded by an alternate account of Haruhi Japan, which became a Frontier. The Vincence Pact, as a Frontier, was able to quickly gain over 100 member nations. However, it should be noted that The Vincence Pact’s activity still paled in comparison to Callista, a trait that can be observed in most other feeder regions. It should also be mentioned that all of this news of Frontiers sparked discussion in Callista around the idea of transitioning Callista into a Frontier as well. Somewhat surprisingly, the general consensus was an overwhelming “no”. As this was all going on, the Second (now annual) NationStates World Trade Fair took place. This time around, thanks to the efforts of primarily Boilanzandia, Callista was able to take 6th place in Most Stashed Patriotic Flags by the end of the event. Not very long after, Arisyan- made his monthly visitation to the people of Callista, and at the same time, long-time Callistan citizen Zebruski decided to take a “Arisyan-style” vacation from NationStates, however it is unclear if this decision remains in-effect or not. Back to the mainstream of Callista, as a result of the policies of Minister of Roleplay Komahina, the current roleplay saw a couple of changes in order to make the roleplay more universally active and easier to manage. Having noticed that Callista, despite being almost three years old as a region, still did not have a Welcome Telegram, I decided to petition for the creation of such a telegram. The idea was well-received and led to the creation, proposal, and passage of a new amendment of my own that would constitutionally institute the creation of a Welcome Telegram for Callista, as well as expand the voting power of the average citizen. During the creation of the amendment, a new recruitment effort began to make up for the lost mass of the leftover defenders from the raiding fiasco of the previous section. It was also at around this time that the RMB of Callista reached page 6000. The RMB speed around the time was about 95 posts a day. Directly preceding a period of little historical significance, somewhat ironically, came the creation of the 10th Minecraft Realm of Callista. As it was sort of an anniversary world, being the tenth iteration, a custom texture pack was later installed to add some weight to the occasion. During the runtime of the realm, Bruxxa/The tavern made an extremely brief appearance on Callista’s RMB. After a year of hiatus, Baloo’s Bison Burger Road Trip made its return for its fourth run, this time taking a more laid back and less major presence. To close out this section of our history, one of Callista and the Institute of Cellulose’s ally regions, NATO 2022 seemed to have been in danger of a raid. After some deliberation in the government of Callista, no aid was to be provided, and the threat determined to be non-existent. And that is all there was. The next election season was rapidly approaching, and neither side of Callista’s political spectrum seemed to have officially put forth campaigns, reminiscent of the summer days of 2021. As before, only the future holds the resolution in this matter.

It could not have been foretold that the events that took place in this chapter of regional and interregional history would have occurred in the ways that they did. That being said, I will attempt to provide an account of these certain events with the least amount of bias possible. But before that happens, we must talk about the hang-up of the previous section, that being the upcoming July 1st 2023 Prime Minister Election in Callista. Discussion of regional politics, as it almost always is in the time before election season, was fervent. A lot of the discussions being had were either over the relevance of having the word “Holy” included in Tsar Sorianora title or over whether or not the Baloo Kingdom administration had really delivered on the promises they made since the last election for Prime Minister. In response to criticism from the opposition, the Baloo Kingdom administration swiftly rolled out the awaited running ban log and citizens log on the Callista dispatches account, also formally instating the “citizenship check” that was described in a recent amendment to the constitution of Callista It was also at around this time that the long-running NationStates mini-game of “Cards Against NationStates” was brought back into the light temporarily as per a site-wide announcement from Maz Barry on the “News” page. Nevertheless, it was again finally time for the elections to commence. This time around, Tsarevich Plus Nova Imperii campaigned for Prime Minister with fellow CTP member Ferneus being his LPM choice, going against the incumbent Baloo Kingdom administration, now with former Minister of Roleplay Komahina as the LPM choice instead of Galactic Powers. After a competitive campaign season, the Baloo Kingdom administration managed to secure another three months in office by a respectable margin. Since Komahina had been the Minister of Roleplay, Ferneus was made the interim Minister of Roleplay until the official election could take place about a week later. Given that it had been nine months since the Mushroom Gorge’s political ban had begun, he was now eligible to run for office and vote in elections in Callista legally, something that would cause to announce his candidacy in the upcoming July 8th 2023 Head Justice Election. Mushroom Gorge would also then propose his “July 2nd Amendment”, which would end up not going to vote until later. Naturally, discussion in Callista then focused on the Head Justice and Minister of Roleplay elections, as the still longest-running roleplay in the history of Callista continued to be as popular as ever. Also, continuing Mushroom Gorge resurgence as a politically active member of Callista, Mushroom Gorge submitted a proposal to the Security Council which aimed to condemn Superpower spain’s alternative accounts for their various crimes. It was unable to secure enough approvals and when ultimately withdrawn by Mushroom Gorge. Also filling the time between the Prime Minister and Head Justice elections was the accidental renewal of the tenth official Minecraft Realm of Callista. Regardless, it was now finally time for the July 8th 2023 Head Justice Election. The CTP-backed former Prime Minister Superpower spain was slated to run against the previously mentioned Baloominati-backed Mushroom Gorge, however, soon after the election had formally begun, it was realized that Superpower spain had not been a citizen. Since election rules dictate that all candidates for any election must announce their candidacy 24 hours in advance of election day, no replacement could be made for Superpower spain, allowing Mushroom Gorge to win by default. Mushroom Gorge then chose former LPM Galactic Powers to be Chief Prosecutor. Two days later, the July 10th 2023 Minister of Roleplay Election began, pitting the CTP-backed TheCarpathianMountains against the Baloominati-backed North Goguryeo. At the end of the day, North Goguryeo secured a sizable win for Minister of Roleplay. This moment was in particular significant because the government of Callista, excluding permanent positions such as Tsar, Tsarevich, and the Callista dispatches account, was nearly entirely controlled by the Baloominati. Now that the election season had officially concluded, it was time Callista to return to normal; not really. Former regional troll Ofthelord launched another troll attempt on Callista after many months of hiatus, impersonating numerous members of Callista and was ultimately stopped by the filing of a GHR and NS Mod intervention. Adding to the drama, Tsar Sorianora temporarily forgot his account password. If he had been unable to locate his password, his account would likely CTE and cause Plus Nova Imperii to graduate from Tsarevich to full-blown Tsar as a result of the “Successor Amendment”. After regaining access to his account, Sorianora began the first wave of his embassy purging, which he reasoned would clean up our embassy list and obligations as well as make embassies with larger UCRs, feeders, and sinkers more likely to succeed. After over a week, Mushroom Gorge’s “July 2nd Amendment” was brought to vote in Callista. The amendment passed by a sizable margin and began its work to clarify and reformat the constitution as whole. As can similarly be observed in the previous section of the history dispatch, a discussion began once again on whether or not the regional officer position of Minister of Recruitment should exist or not. Opponents of the position claimed that the role was effectively useless and over-complicated the government, suggesting that it be dissolved, and its roles being delegated to the Minister of Internal Affairs. It should also be noted that the speed of the RMB during this time period was remarkably high, with a whopping average of 238.5 posts a day of the RMB of Callista. After so much talk of amendments and government, talk eventually relaxed to that of Star Wars politics, bringing Bruxxa temporarily back into the fray, as Baloo’s Bison Burger Road Trip 4 simultaneously ended. Feeling the need to increase the interregional power of Callista, the Baloo Kingdom administration fronted a campaign called an “endorsement party”, which aimed to increase the average number of World Assembly endorsements in Callista by sending a region-wide telegram encouraging the act. This led to Callista rising to the position of 53rd in average number of World Assembly endorsements. It was then time for what is probably the most influential event in the recent history of Callista. Two then-anonymous informants supplied information to Chief Prosecutor Galactic Powers that I, Baloo Kingdom, had violated citizenship procedure when adding King of the ratfolk to the citizen dispatch of Callista after they had ceased to exist without them having to reapply for citizenship. After first questioning me directly, Chief Prosecutor Galactic Powers made the decision to send the case to the Head Justice, Mushroom Gorge. After considering the validity of the evidence, Mushroom Gorge formally began the trial of Baloo Kingdom. After a lengthy period of debate and defense, as well as due other weighing factors, Mushroom Gorge determined that I, Baloo Kingdom, was guilty of violating citizenship procedure. It was made clear that the Head Justice did not see the action as malicious or an attempt of puppet fraud, however, Baloo Kingdom was sentenced to a two month political suspension, something relatively unprecedented for Callista. I would be dismissed from my position as Prime Minister and Komahina would take my place as Interim Prime Minister until a special election could be held two days later to elect a new Prime Minister that would serve until the suspension was over, when I would be re-appointed to my position of Prime Minister until the end of my term. I would also be unable to run in the coming October election. What happened next was surprising. A number of Callistans were shocked by the verdict and began to protest the Callista, causing Plus Nova Imperii to out themselves as one of the informants in the case. Among this number was Interim Prime Minister Komahina and Minister of Roleplay North Goguryeo, who both resigned from their positions in protest of the verdict and additionally threatened to leave Callista with many of the other protestors. This caused Head Justice Mushroom Gorge to become the new interim Prime Minister, as well as adding to the growing chaos in the wake of the verdict. Tsarevich Plus Nova Imperii then quickly proposed a new amendment named the “July 26th Amendment” whose aim was to legalize the concepts put forth by the verdict. In anticipation of the upcoming special election, a record number of candidates formed their campaigns, creating five distinct political parties. These political parties will be spoken about in more detail at a later point in this section of the dispatch. During the chaos, long-time member of both Callista and The Vincence Empire, Ethics committee of the scpf ceased to exist, causing TheCarpathianMountains to be later appointed to fill the role of Minister of Recruitment in Ethics committee of the scpf’s leave, even after their eventual return from the dead. The entire crisis surrounding the court case and its verdict was luckily brought to an end when Tsar Sorianora stepped in to use his authority to make an indisputable decision on the case. After reviewing the facts, Sorianora reversed Mushroom Gorge’s verdict and determined that Baloo Kingdom was not guilty due to the clauses of the constitution used to incriminate him being too vague in comparison with the clauses used in defense. As a part of the new verdict, I was restored to my position of Prime Minister, and Komahina and North Goguryeo were treated the same. Despite the new verdict, I announced that I would voluntarily not run for Prime Minister in the coming October elections. This effectively continued the flame of the special election, allowing the newly formed political parties to continue to exist and campaign. With the longest serving Prime Minister in the history of Callista out of the running, a new age of Callistan politics had begun, and to kick it off, Plus Nova Imperii announced the dissolution of the Constitutional Tsarist Party. The five campaigns and political parties that formed from the court case drama were as follows, Komahina and North Goguryeo under the Baloominati, Mushroom Gorge and Arisyan- under the newly formed Callistan Populist Party, Rhenzern and PositiveRoleplayer under the newly formed Callistan Independent Party, Caesar von bingen and TheCarpathianMountains under the newly formed PRO Callista, and The Great Hiatus and Zebruski under the newly formed National Restoration of Callista Party. If you would like more specific information on the new age parties, either see Callista dispatches or the “Other Historical Documents” section both the main history sections. Plus Nova Imperii began weekly coverage of the new parties and campaigns while Sorianora continued his embassy purge with a second wave. After a day or so, the “July 26th Amendment” was put to vote and passed by a sizable margin, removing the word “Holy” from the title of Tsar Sorianora and putting in place everything that had been determined in the recent court case as legal. Now that the court case was out of the way, and a new age of politics had begun, things finally went back to normal as they usually do in the months between election seasons. Galactic Powers did a voice reveal, regional roleplay resumed its regular flow, and the party campaigns for October continued to change and evolve. For such a very monumental time in history, things felt mostly normal again.

To begin this section of history, I must first reference the mock poll created to gauge election support for the October 2023 Prime Minister Election. This would be the first election in a while that would not involve myself, Baloo Kingdom, and as the result of the court case that had rocked the regional politics of Callista, several new political parties were contesting the election. Near the bottom of the polls was a long-time member of the regional line, The H Corporation/The Great Hiatus who would soon rise to prominence in due time. Regardless, the polls had shown that more than two parties would be probably actually making it to the election, so a run-off system was deemed to be necessary. This problem was solved with a new amendment to create such a system. Outside of regional politics, roleplay continued to play out as strongly as ever for the majority of the remainder of this section. Following this spell of relative normalcy, there came the potential of an attack from a foreign entity. Lone Wolves United, a well-known raider region, threated a quorum raid of Callista if we did not remove approval from a Security Council proposal that would liberate a certain region. After polling the masses, the government of Callista decided to stand its ground and not remove support from the proposal while also temporarily password-protecting the region until the proposal had made it to quorum. This effort was successful in preventing a raid of Callista, and was also applied to New Callista. Not soon after, Cormoe proposed the Walter White Gaming Party as a new alternative semi-meme party in Callista, similar to the Mario Party of years past, and Robotox Empire made brief return from months of hiatus. Meanwhile, a increasingly confrontational battle was being waged on the World Factbook Entry of Callista. Some trollsters who had access to the “Appearance” permission had been changing the “Goverment” hyperlink in the WFE to read “Govermeat”, while others were insistent on replacing this with the grammatically and literally correct version. The trolling expanded to other parts of the WFE until there was a poll held about it at some point in which the trollsters were surprisingly vindicated and “Govermeat” was allowed to exist for a long time before being eventually and permanently reverted to its original state. Along with this, there was another massive roleplay boom, with new maps and new players entering the field every day. There was then a brief scandal involving TheCarpathianMountains and his usage of the Callista dispatches account as a government minister which was quickly resolved after it was found that it was perfectly fine for him to have the password to that account. This, however, would prove to be just the first in a line of many controversies that would eventually result in TheCarpathianMountains leaving Callista. It was also at around this time that for no reason at all, Komahina temporarily banned Mushroom Gorge from Callista. Then, rather suddenly and surprisingly, long-time member of the regional line, The dream of kirby, CTEd. Many nations paid their respects to this important member of the Callistan community. Changing the tone from the sudden CTE came a slew of many impersonation nations which eventually were determined to come from Donkar, who was later banned from Callista. Yazakhastan made a brief reapperance along with his Church of True, and go up to his old antics for a short time. Similar to previous instance, it was then that Komahina temporarily banned Barlyy/Superpower spain from Callista for really no reason at all. Boilanzandia then proposed and unanimously passed a new amendment to the Callistan constitution that changed the way that the court system was set up, adding a jury of Callistans to help decide certain cases where they were needed. Not long after, Arisyan- proposed an amendment to create a two-round system for the elections if it was to be needed. This was done after considering the results of the prior election support poll and was passed with some opposition. It was at this time that a court case was anonmously brought against then-Minister of Roleplay, North Goguryeo for a possible abuse of their powers. It was found, after some deliberation, that North Goguryeo was not guilty. In sort of a parallel to the previous two incidents, Mushroom Gorge turned things around and temporarily banned Galactic Powers from Callista for no apparent reason. Then it was time for N-Day⁹, and, like usual, Callista was crushed before the first day had time to end. Other than that, there is not much to say that hasn’t already been said in previous sections regarding the goings-on of N-Day for Callista, so I won’t speak on it further. Finally, it was time for the October 1st Elections, a much awaited and frailty significant event in Callistan regional politics. This time around, the parties contesting the position of Prime Minister for the next three months were Komahina and North Goguryeo under the Baloominati, The H Corporation and Arisyan- under the PCC, and Caesar von bingen and TheCarpathianMountains under PRO Callista. In an underdog victory story finish, the PCC won in a landslide, and The H Corporation became Prime Minister of Callista under the alt-account, The Great Hiatus. In a wave of protest similar to that which happened after the decision on the my most recent court case, North Goguryeo refused to relinquish the code to the at-the-time current roleplay map, threatened to delete it due to the Baloominati’s loss in the election with TheCarpathianMountains sort of backing him up. Not long after, both Komahina and North Goguryeo left Callista as a result of the PCC victory. Nevertheless, it was time for The H Corporation’s “Restoration of Callista” to begin. Almost immediately after being elected, and in part due to the drama surrounding the election, RMB activity in Callista spiked to over 200 posts a day for several days. Replacing the initial election drama came the passing of the delegacy from myself to the new Prime Minister, The H Corporation. The H Corporation gave me a one week ultimatum to resign from the World Assembly lest he attain the proper number of endorsements to become the new WA Delegate were acquired by himself. I argued that forcing me to do so would be a violation of my individual rights as a citizen, however, no answer on this debate was proved necessary because well before the ultimatum expired, The H Corporation attained the seat of the WA Delegacy for Callista. It was then time for the Head Justice Elections of October. The Baloominati endorsed myself, Baloo Kingdom, the PCC endorsed Plus Nova Imperii, and the independents endorsed Amaabj. In a very close election, Plus Nova Imperii managed to secure yet another win for the PCC by becoming the next Head Justice. There was then a court case regarding TheCarpathianMountains’ support of North Goguryeo’s holding of the map code ransom, in which, TheCarpathianMountains was determined to be guilty of conspiracy and was given a two-month politician ban. TheCarpathianMountains then took matters into his own hands by leaving Callista completely shortly after the verdict was delivered. Lastly for the October Election Season, it was now time for the Election of the Minister of Roleplay. This time around, only the PCC put forth a candidate, that being Rhenzern, who therefore won by default. This resulted in the PCC holding nearly every position of power in the government of Callista. Shortly after the election had ended, The H Corporation completed a recruitment telegram API for Callista, something originally promised years ago by Cerata, now finally fulfilled. Over time, this resulted in a steady population and new member spike for Callista which unfortunately ended some time later after the API was broken when The H Corporation’s computer broke in real life. Arisyan- and The H Corporation then began a long stretch of proposing and passing new amendments and bills starting with a Ministerial Reform Bill, and later including a Ministerial Non-Partisanship Bill, Ministerial Warning Bill (which also removed triple-posting from being an offense), Term Limit Amendment, Constitution of Callista Reform Amendment, Reduction of the Tsar’s Power Amendment, Poll Regulation Bill, and a Tsar Political Nuetrality Amendment (which had intially failed before being rewritten). Residents of Callista’s RMB then participated yet again as commentators on the yearly Minecraft Live presentation, although things were quieter this year compared to the years prior. It was then that it a recruitment telegram that new embassy region, 001 Alpha Prime officially mentioned Callista as a partner roleplay region, fueling camaraderie between the two growing regions. In a surprise, PositiveRoleplayer decided to continue their “Callista Times” digital newspaper after being silent for a while. As a result of the API, Callista then enjoyed a three day period of having a regional population of over 90 nations before the previously mentioned incident caused population to begin to decline. After the old welcome telegram for Callista had been removed as a result of a new Prime Minister being elected, The H Corporation reposted a new welcome telegram with some changes from the previous iteration. Since it was the spooky season yet again, Z-Day¹¹ began and Callista yet again did not fare well, mostly due to trolling. Shortly after Z-Day, and to begin the month of November off, Viciebskaja made a brief return to the RMB of Callista to share a few words and greetings. An embassy purge began shortly after, put in place by the new administration in an effort to shave off unnecessary embassies and make Callista more appealing to larger and more influential regions. Almost at randomly, it was then that long-time Callistan Zebruski made the decision to leave NationStates without providing much of an explanation as to why. On to a happier note, it was not long after then that Callista celebrated it’s third anniversary of founding. This time around there was no sort of official celebration mainly due to the date simply sneaking up without anyone noticing too long beforehand. Moving back to regional politics, Cormoe’s Walter White Gaming Party made the decision to merge with The H Corporation’s Restoration, in a move gearing up for the month-off election season. In general near the end of November, regional politics made a large resurgence in part due to The H Corporation’s decision to run as the Baloominati’s LPM candidate in the next election for Prime Minister in Callista, a decision that fueled much controversy with the opposition to the Baloominati at the time. It was also at this time of heightened regional political hype that Northern qing state came out of hiding and revealed themselves to be Komahina. For the second time in this section of regional history, a region of significance was raided. This time around, it was The Tavern, which was very briefly raided by The Black Hawks before being liberated within the day by a volunteer defender force from Callista. To wrap up this section of Callistan history, Plus Nova Imperii both proposed and passed the December Amendment to the Consitution of Callista. Given the radical regional political changes that happened in Callista as a result of the Restoration’s efforts as well as the recent switch-up observed on the drama scene, it is very interesting to consider the direction that Callista will go in. Only time will tell, I suppose.

Due to various unexpected circumstances, this section of our regional history will comprise roughly one month's worth of history written nearly 8 months after the fact, apologies in advance. Well, let’s get on to the history. We start off with Allertania’s administration managing to pass an RMB reform bill by a large margin, furthering the notion that the administration as a whole was and is still very popular among the general public, at least in terms of policy. Shortly thereafter, the first ranks of Callistan nobility were unveiled, following the passage of the Noble Titles Bill passed by Arisyan-. Among these were the princes and princesses of Callista, and although their titles were and still are purely ceremonial (with the notable exception of the Tsarevich), the official rollout of these titles provided a good deal of entertainment and satisfaction for those who received them. Next, Mushroom Gorge was caught in the act of impersonation, however, he was let off due to the act being deemed not malicious. However, Mushroom Gorge was suspended from the duties of the Minister of Domestic Affairs and I, Baloo Kingdom, took the position. Not long after, The H Corporation announced another flag contest for the people of Callista as well as their embassies. In other news, the April 1st Prime Minister Elections were fast approaching, and political coalitions were already beginning to form. One of the largest developments of these political coalitions was the release of the Baloominati Initiative and its absolute trashing by members of the Baloominati opposition, notably Plus Nova Imperii and Arisyan-. It is also of note that around this time Barlyy became active in commentating on Callistan politics once again. Somewhat later into the election cycle, Arisyan-’s campaign dropped out and endorsed the Baloominati’s campaign of Allertania and The H Corporation (which Plus Nova Imperii would also do at a later point), leaving only the Rhenzern-Boilanzandia campaign to compete. It was also at around this time that Callista lost its long-time embassy with The Glorious Nations of Iwaku, which to some was considered the “mother” region of the regional line. As of the writing of this section, this embassy has not been restored; a founding member of the regional line, The dream of kirby decided at around this time to leave NationStates. In terms of legislation, the side-roleplay and anti-raider embassy bills were both brought to poll and passed, in the weeks before the January 1st, 2024 Prime Minister Election. Plus Nova Imperii held interviews with both of the Prime Minister candidates shortly after the anti-raider bill was passed, allowing them to share their visions of what Callista could become under their administration. In other quickfire news, the first barons were rolled out as a part of the Callistan Nobility Bill, all being members of the regional line that have contributed something great to the region. As a result of a laptop being ruined, there were some issues with The H Corporation’s recruitment telegram API at around this time, and it became a grand effort to attempt to fix it. Mushroom Gorge went on a rant regarding the dicey RMB history they had accumulated, and Plus Nova Imperii dropped a massive Discord DM leak on the RMB. The NS Moderators made a flash appearance on the Callistan RMB and smote a random spam account, which was then revealed to be long-time troll Ofthelord. New Year's was then celebrated in Callista and each nation had its own funny way of celebrating. And then, it was finally election time. Winning two-thirds of the vote, the Allertania-The H Corporation campaign came out on top. Surprisingly, Callista moved on pretty quickly from the Prime Minister Election and moved on to the Head Justice Election. This was sidetracked, however, by an ominous message sent to Prime Minister Allertania over telegrams from infamous raider region Lone Wolves United. They demanded that Callista remove support from a WA proposal that affected them. In the end, Callista decided to stand firm in their approval of the resolution, and nothing bad came of it. And then, it was time for the January 8th, 2024 Head Justice Election. This time around Mushroom Gorge went up against incumbent Plus Nova Imperii, in which, Plus Nova Imperii managed to win by a fairly large margin. Once again, Callista was ready to move on to the next thing, which just so happened to be the January 2024 Minister of Roleplay Election. However, this particular election had an element of humor as it seemed that everyone was randomly announcing their campaigns for Minister of Roleplay. In the end, the candidates were Royal cormoe and Boilanzandia and after a very close election, Royal cormoe managed to secure victory. Although they were not all completely associated, this marked the last election victory needed for the Restorationist-Baloominati coalition to have near-complete control of the government. To close out this section of regional history, I’ll provide the RMB statistics for this period of time; there was an average of 225 RMB posts a day. As it seemed to always be with the entry of a new administration, the future of Callista seemed bright. Only time will tell.

Similar to Section 49, this section of regional history was written several months after the events that took place in this section. As a result, it is written from that perspective. Anyway, let’s get on to the history. Now that the January election season was over, Callista could mostly move on from campaign politics and move into the fresh wave of new policies which usually follow the introduction of a new government. First up was a bill editing bill, which was able to pass very easily following a consultation period. It was at around this time that Boilanzandia founded the United Deep-State Awareness initiative, whose goal was primarily to take a satirical look at the establishment government and the ideologies of governance that each of its members or potential members embodied (it was also registered as an official party of Callista). A more long-lasting result of the formation of the United Deep-State Awareness party/initiative was the fairly new conceptualization of a real deep-state in Callista’s government and politics. There was also a brief discussion at around this time regarding a possible Institute of Cellulose-Callista merger, which was quickly put down by members of both regions. This was in response to the numbers of both regions declining in population, Callista as a result of The H Corporation’s API program being out-of-service for a spell and Institue of Cellulose as a result of regional roleplay stagnation and an over-reliance of the regional Discord server as a means of communication. Callista attempted to mitigate this problem for the region by starting a recruitment API volunteer program, headed by The H Corporation, to hopefully increase population numbers and prevent similar issues from occurring in the future. Unfortunately, the API volunteer program was largely unsuccessful in achieving its goal in the long term. Things began to get a little bit silly on the RMB of Callista for a few days, with the usage of “Gen Alpha” slang words increased, jokes about regional politics persisted, and the Barlyy Silence Act (unofficial) was passed with a 64% in-favor vote. Luckily, this stretch of goofiness seemed to end once regional roleplay events began to increase in frequency. The “Regional Introduction” Bill was able to pass as well at around the same time, now giving an actual government reason to welcome new nations to Callista. There was a small controversy regarding Callista’s embassy with Union of Christian Nations, however, polling indicated that embassies did not need to close. The idea of having juries for court cases held in Callista was thrown around, but ultimately failed to gain any traction. As evidenced, there was an uptick in the number of bills brought to vote within these months. There was a Minister of Domestic Affairs reform bill, created by Arisyan-, which passed easily and essentially made the Minister of Domestic Affairs the leader of the vetting process for bill editing and creation. Callista achieved the milestone of RMB page 8000, and a brief opinion poll was held to determine whether or not the Tsar of Callista should be able to vote. Continuing the trend of more legislation being introduced, a proposal to prevent prospective candidates for electable positions in government from campaigning early was adopted and soon passed into law. Bruxxa once again made a brief appearance on the RMB, and regional politics heated up in a rare mid-government scuffle (this would tend to become more common in the coming months). Mushroom Gorge went through a brief court case regarding some unauthorized tampering with Callista’s WFE, which was ultimately resolved with a guilty plea and a 24-hour ban, as well as a political ban lasting about two and a half months. This was followed up with the revelation that Mushroom Gorge had also used the Callista dispatches account to edit a post to campaign back in April of 2023. No additional charges were added to the original WFE tampering case by Head Justice Plus Nova Imperii. There was yet another significant court case with the permanent ban appeal of Byyorkastan, with Byyorkastan and others arguing that the charges against the defendant were overblown or exaggerated. In the end, the appeal was dismissed under the premise of the original case. Overall, this era of Callista’s history was rife with the introduction of many new bills and the beginnings of many new and old court cases. This trend would only continue in the coming months.
