Apologies for the late statement, that's on me. But I will at least give my opening statement before I go to bed.
Once again, I would like to thank you for giving me this second opportunity to appeal my ban, I hope that in the time since then I have proven myself to be ready to contribute in good faith to our region. This statement's not gonna be too long, I am going to be brief and to the point.
In the 2 months since my appeal, I have contributed in good faith to the region of Forest. I have had a busy schedule, so I have not been as active as I would have liked, but in my time there many nations interacted with me in a positive manner and I responded likewise. There was even a short discussion between me and a nation there where he questioned my motivations and I responded in an understanding and polite manner, explaining my situation. We resolved the issue and moved on. I hope that this shows that if/when this arises when I return to Callista, that I will respond in a similar manner as to how I behaved in Forest. This, along with my other posts in the region coupled with my posts in BCK when I returned before my original appeal should be substantial enough to show that I have moved on from my hotheaded and short-tempered manners at the very beginning of this year. I believe that I have proven that I deserve a chance at redemption, which was afforded to Carp, Dom, and Rome among others, and that I am 100% willing to contribute in good faith in the region's message boards.
Once again, I am willing to accept a variety of deals like I was previously such as a temporary political ban, a temporary probation period in Callista etc. to further prove that I have changed for the better.
I would like to thank Ari for initially understanding that he needed to prove himself in order to be welcomed back with open arms in the region. Enough and sufficient time has passed and checking in the posts he has made and the interactions he has had with I have no qualms in delaying his reintroduction into the region.
Naturally I must start with my concerns, and that is for starters regarding his citizenship (cuz Ari I am pretty sure he is going to apply) and political involvement. It’s nothing new that after a ban people want to prove themselves by engaging in the politics the region or just being recognized as a citizen. I am not going to use comparisons with other shamed individuals due to the nature of this appeal being 100% different however I would like to highlight some of the past records of his last involvements in politics.
This includes multiple resignations (on June 2023 and most recently of last year in December 2024), a recall petition on December 2024 which did go through however he did resign or left the region before anything could happen. Giving this record I think it would be wise to have him being temporarily be prevented from either becoming a citizen or be barren from running for any office or be allowed to be in office. I think there is enough evidence to have him not being able to be in office, and maybe even a probation period in Callista to seal the deal.

You may now rebut each other, if you so wish. However, since you seem to be in some agreement as to the scope of your desired outcomes for this case, perhaps it may not be necessary?

I think it would be reasonable, to first come to an agreement about how Ari will return to the region. If we can talk it out and have some common ground then we may not need rebuttals or smth like that. Only if Ari agrees, if not then we could leave it to you, the Head Justice.

I agree with H in that rebuttals are not necessary. In my opinion, in order to further prove myself, I believe a temporary probation period and political ban is reasonable as long as the probation period isn't an exorbitant amount of time.
2 months of probation, plus another 2 months of political ban I would say is fair amount of time
Given that both sides feel no rebuttals are needed, I will now make my verdict.
Anatoliyanskiy has indeed proven, in my view, that he has reformed himself after his extended absence from the region. Furthermore, I believe, based on my analysis of his conduct in both this appeal, and the previous one - being agreeable, respectful, and willing to take on punishment that he feels he deserves - that he has demonstrated respect for Callista's institutions that would make an extended probation, as suggested by the The H Corporation unnecessary.
However, H also is correct in pointing out Ari's problematic behavior in the government being a pattern independent of just the December 2024 incident. And thus, I must take that into account as I make my ruling:

The Court of Callista grants Anatoliyanskiy's (Arisyan) appeal. He shall be unbanned from Callista on the condition of a three week probationary period. During this period, if the defendant violates the rules of Callista, he is liable to his appeal being immediately overturned by the Court without chance of further appeal.
However, the Court of Callista shall also impose a 2 month political ban on Arisyan, the first month to run concurrent with his probationary period. This bars the defendant from running for, or serving in, any political office, or voting in any elections. With this ban to expire on September 12th, it will end before the next Prime Ministerial elections, although the upcoming MORP elections, and any snap/vacancy elections within the period, will have the ban applied to them.
With that, this Court is adjourned.
