That's pretty offensive. I don't appreciate that at all. Don't judge my country based on the hateful bigots, and don't judge my country based on retaliating to aggression from Trump and his government. He threatened to annex my country. My comment was lighthearted and playful. Your comment is incredibly insensitive, inappropriate, patronizing, condescending, and disrespectful. Who are you to lecture me and speak down to me like that, completely unprompted? You judge me and all my countrymen based on my government and the bigots? I could just as easily do the same to Americans, but I don't, because the inhabitants of a country aren't a monolith, and no government, nor can any individual completely represent an entire nation. Despite you and I seemingly sharing values, I don't deserve the same respect as an American? My opinions don't matter as much as an American's? Hell, my feelings don't matter as much as an American's? If I made a comment as disrespectful, arrogant, and ignorant as yours, I would certainly be ashamed of myself.

I'm a Jew. I'm a Zionist. But I'm also a Canadian, and I'm damn proud of it, as an American would be, and as an Israeli would be. Is Canada perfect? No. Are there hateful people here? Absolutely. Just like there are in Israel. Just like there are in droves in the United States. Just like in any country. When you blatantly disrespect Canada like you did, you're disrespecting me. You're disrespecting my family, my friends, and all Canadian allies who are fighting the good fight. So it's great to know how little you think of me based on where I was born and raised. This same mindset is what drives people to hate all Israelis and Jews based on fringe extremists and the government.

In closing, since my grandparents are no longer with us, nor are my great-grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins who fled persecution in Europe and Mandatory Palestine to build a life for themselves, their children, and myself in Canada, I'd like to ask on their behalf: how dare you, and who the hell do you think you are? I'm glad to hear you "wish me happy days regardless of dates". I hope that extends to Canada Day, which is important to me as a Jewish Canadian, and just as important as American Independence Day. Personally, I hope that wisdom graces you one day.

How about this: if Canada betrays Israel and recognises an imaginary 'Palestinian' state, then by doing so they prove they cannot be trusted as a responsible player on the world stage. If Canada doesn't, then I'm terribly sorry, but I cannot care about snowflake Canadians' offense at words when their actions physically offend my people. If you support Canada at a time when Canada threatens Israel by recognising that evil, murderous, imaginary national movement, which is rotten to its core and is no more than a death cult, then you support an enemy of Israel. It's beyond me how one can then declare himself to be pro-Israel.

In Memory of Charlie Kirk

We are shocked and devastated by the brutal murder of Charlie Kirk. His unique voice, his deep and genuine bond with Israel touched countless lives, and his voice was one of friendship, solidarity, and shared destiny.

The people of Israel, and all Jerusalemites, mourn with heavy hearts. This murder is an act of pure evil. We stand shoulder to shoulder with America’s youth and with the entire American public in their grief.
