Kandosii wrote:Looking at the probe properly in the cargo hold of the ship it was easy to see that no this was not a Sith/Imperial probe looking for Mando space to take back the Harrower SD that Manda'lore the Protector had appropriated as his personal Flagship. This was something decidedly new and unknown.

"Droid run a full scan of this thing find out if there is any data on it somewhere in the archives," Sima said to a BX droid.

"Roger, roger," said the deep computerized voice of the Battle droid.

Further scan reveal the probe is not of any known design, and has no visible markings that would show who made it, however further scans of the biological material reveal that it is an extremely complex protein chemical, showing some similarities to communication enzymes in cells, but much more complex. While if this were a known species to the Madalorians, it would be easy to decode this message, without it, they would have to work backwards, taking the message and trying to construct a receptor from it, which will require more precise examination.

Got it on my hard drive but I'm away in the caravan.

One question, do you think you'll come back to the NWU properly or no?

I would have, but, as I clarified, was busy working, much more than I expected. It gave me time to think.

Well, I can't say I don't have plans, I have several contingencies to reintroduce myself, when the time is right I will introduce myself back in through a post by my puppet account within the region. In the meantime, Prusmia will be dedicating itself to growing within the community of Forest, if any of you want to chat. It's getting tiresome to have to swap accounts every time I chat. So I'll be reachable there if you want to talk or set up an embassy or something, I'd love to open up as an ambassador, or something if you do.

Though in the meantime, I wish most of you a lovely evening or day or night or whatever time it is. I'll be seeing you all,

Regards from, Prusmia causing chaos since 2019

The Guru wrote:Over head of the camp six helicopters took a fly over before coming back around to land. Inside five of them the 28th was getting ready doing a last equipment check right down to gasmask filters. The sixth held the team from the CCG who's mission was to check the bodies found that had started this whole scare and confirm if it was Necroa or, something that the CCG was all to familiar with.

"So why are we on site of a possible outbreak," said probation agent Sylas.

"Because proby when Necroa first started making waves way back when. CCG wrongfully ided the dead from the attack from a Necroa infected as a ghoul attack. Local CCG office was over run by the same bodies that they where going to put through autopsy," said Agent Doán.

"So CCG thinks this might be similar but reversed," Sylas asked.

"Bingo Sylas hence why Doctor Nguyên is with the team to id if this is something easier to handle relatively speaking," Sinor Agent Ta

"Which is precisely why both we and a detachment of the 28th is here. So that we are ready to deal with either problem," Doctor Nguyên said as the helio started to land.

"Should be easy then yes," inquired Sylas.

"So long as the bodies are not in the quarantine zone. In which case if Necroa is confirmed this will become very dangerous," Nguyên said before stepping out with his bag in hand.

At seeing the group get out of the helicopter followed by the others an XO came forward.

"You got clearance to be here," the auxiliary officer said while others halted the rest of the newly arrived force.

"CCG special agent Ta this Agent Dáng and Sylas alongside Doctor Nguyên. These men here with us are a part of the 28th task force. We heard you have a zed problem," Sinor Agent Ta said bringing out his badge.

"Ah while I would like to talk gentlemen we have bodies to examine," Nguyên said.

"All in good time doctor first let's meet up with the field commander here then work are way from there," Ta said.

"That's a meeting for you Ta I will be at the medical tent looking over the bodies to confirm infection," Nguyên said making his way towards the medical tent.

Dubrovnik, the Adriatic Coast. Men mill about the coastal town, the ancient walls smiling as they’re gently kissed by the sun. Another beautiful day has begun for the civilians of the Adriatic Coast, but inside the old walls of the Sponza Palace the mood is much less cheerful. An air of annoyance hovers in the Parliament Chamber, the representatives of each nation slowly shuffling around and finding their seats. It’s a budget meeting, the dullest of all affairs the Coast has, but important nonetheless. First on the list is the Navy’s finances, and near immediately debate breaks out. Most of the navy’s finances had been pouring into the expansion of naval facilities in Croatia and Slovenia, but of the navy’s spending ten percent was going into the upkeep of the outdated and rusting SMS Tegetthoff. She was a war prize older than the nation itself, but her historical value was being called into question in comparison to her financial cost. There were three options, scrap her as the Serbian, Macedonian, and Bosnian delegations wished to do, sink her as a target as a middle ground, or just fork up the money to dry dock her. Of the sixteen delegates, six voted scrap, two target, and eight dry dock. With that decision made the next topic was quickly enough brought to conversation.

Second on the list of targets was the Italio-Slovenian border project. It was a relatively new project having started in late 2080, but it was already behind time, over budget, and having its purpose called into question. What reason would the Italians have to go after the Coast? Especially considering that they were under French occupation, a nation with even less reason to go after the Coast. The Slovenian delegation of course disagreed with any claims of it being pointless, but most of the remaining delegates agreed that the project’s point had long since become null. An argument ensued with one of the two Croatian delegates hopping on board with the Slovenians, claiming that the project would also mean that the Croatian region would have additional time to mobilize in the situation that the Italians did choose to go on an offensive. However, one additional delegate supporting it was enough to save it, the vote coming out a lopsided 3-13.

A final topic of discussion was the increasing cost of maintaining Anti-Piracy forces. It would be a non-problem if they’d keep their operations on the ground, they’d just have to send some Pečat destroyers to patrol areas known to be a problem, but no, they couldn’t make it that easy, they had to use seaplanes as well. This meant that rather than just Navy assets having to be used, Air Force assets were also required. Keeping the aging Курир aircraft in service had become prohibitively expensive, and while still useful for their ability to land on water, replacement parts had to be cannabilised from other broken down models and the unique ammo caliber (two 26mm cannons) meant even just re-equipping one was far too costly to justify. So, the only real option was to keep financing it, or just leave it to companies to contract their own security. This vote was equally lopsided, 15 for contracted security, one for financing it.

Another wonderful day on the Coast.

Honestly, this regional stall that everyone talked about in their campaign has only gotten worse. Next election, we need to find someone who has a lot of time on their hands and the will to do something about it.
