It’s been around 30 degrees here for almost a week. Perfect weather for midsummer, but now it’s just tiring.

Kinda a weird question but assuming you live in St. Petersburg are websites like this blocked?

Liberal men after mansplaining why (their ideology) treats women better than (x ideology) to a woman 😙 #woke

NS is not blocked. Otherwise I wouldn’t be here since VPNs are more of a headache than useful tool for permanent connection. Sites of Meta (Facebook and instagram), as well as their apps, are blocked by Russian cringe authorities, but people still use them with VPN. WhatsApp, being a messenger, is not blocked. Some other global platforms, like twitter, are not working either. Basically the list is big but from the daily life perspective, the social media have the most sensitive limitations

Are the prices reasonable (for gas and essentials)?

I remember that, down here in Alabama, it became around 45 Celsius. That was a couple years ago though…

Comparing to what’s happening in Europe and USA – yes. Prices here have always been lower than in EU, but constantly rising regardless of oil dollar exchange rates (which is a local meme already). 1L of petrol costs less than 1USD, in general. Depending on a region, prices could be lower or higher, but I don’t think there are many places where 1L would be more than 1dollar

Liberal men after telling women what feminism is supposed to be
Liberal men after supporting media that disproportionately negatively affects women
Liberal men after using the title of feminist as a mask to hide their misogyny

Can't say I blame you though,
It's society's fault

I think yes, but not recently; you're the first person to endorse me.

Last night had a dream about NS, that doesn’t happen too often ngl

I had a dream about Sprocket Tank design which I recently downloaded

If you did that you'd have to mess about with British and Norwegian history a bit too XD

I have a question serious question..

what exatly is feminism ive heaerd all thease as being the definition
1 women having the same opertunites as men
2 women being in charge of everything becase they should get a turn to be in charge
3 all men are garbage and to be a good person you need to be a woman and the world will only be a good place when humans can find a way to make more people with out men
4 something different

I can create a very realistic super volcano island between you and Iceland which has never been conquered bc of unusually fierce native penguin archers and that’d be the only penguin you can find in northern hemisphere

☝🏻 And that’s not the NS dream I had last night

That’s crazy! Britain is averaging around £1.95 ($2.40) for one litre of petrol 🤢

There’s 2 additional problems Britain faces aside from supply v demand and Ukraine issues - first is our dear old shambles that is Brexit. Crude oil now is roughly the same price per barrel as in 2014. Back then, we were paying £1.20 a litre. Pound sterling has tumbled against the dollar since due to our national hissy fit, inflating the price at the pumps.

Second are the taxes. Anything from 50-70% of the bill in the UK consists of fuel duty and value added tax (VAT). The Government cut duty by 5p (!) a few months ago, but the markedly rising prices absorbed that rather quickly.

Grim.

The definition I live by is that in the current world, women aren't able to be equal to men, everything is stacked in the favour of men and it is incredibly hard to get on an even playing field, those sound like they come from some extremist but I believe that at its core feminism is about women helping women in a world where everything is exponentially harder. One thing I also believe in is the patriarchal structure of every society, and how men on both sides of the political spectrum actively fight to keep it in place. I also firmly believe that all men have been affected by the patriarchy and have a common mindset.

As to why you might have thought it was about hating men is because of misinterpretation, a part of feminism that I strongly adhere to is that no man wants to get rid of the patriarchy, no man wants to lose his privilege in society. Thus men will come together to protect one another, if one man loses his power then they all might. Therefore feminism is needed to unite women, because as it currently stands we do not even closely have enough power in society so if we don't unite we will all suffer from the millenium old man dominated system. It's less about how all men are bad etc and more about the fact that a single bad man has way more power than a larger group of women

Call me a RadFem or whatever if this sounds extreme XD I won't mind

Dang it's only like $1.25 ish per liter ( $5 a gallon ) here in the US

There’d be parties in the streets if we could get it down to those prices here 🤯 I expect that’s still probably up on the usual prices over there! I guess the US has more access to fossil fuel sources & less taxes on the fuel itself than Britain
