In what I expect is the last update related to our current embassy request at vote, I am pleased to report the following:

I have spoken with St Abbaddon's WA Delegate, who has confirmed that while the officer who made the request was indeed the individual in question, their identity and activities were known to the region, and they were operating there with full support of St Abbaddon's residents, who believe very firmly in second chances. While that officer has now stepped down and departed, the region remains positive on the subject of the embassy, if it is of mutual interest to us as well. The request can be considered an honest and legitimate expression of embassy interest.

For those who have voted, or changed votes, according to the ongoing discussion here on the RMB, apologies if you feel confusion about what position you want to take. Given time constraints, and the always uncertain nature of how and when replies might be forthcoming, I thought it best that all information be made available to the public as rapidly as possible in the interest of transparency, with updates coming as they are received. With this being what I expect to be the final bit of information on this particular topic, I would encourage people to choose their final votes, whichever direction they might be, in accordance with the full spectrum of knowledge now available to us.

Thanks for the explanation. I already voted on this issue yesterday, and I am still determined not to change the votes.

Hopefully Foresters will decide the best on this issue.
