Interior’s SSB arrest foreign nationals discovered in Adlerfalke Park.
It’s been reported that the Interior’s SSB discovered and arrested several foreign nationals “creeping” inside the Adlerfalke Park and Reserve. Interior Minister Julius Cullen says his agency “discovered and apprehended the individuals after several days of surveillance” once their motives were deemed a possible threat to the Nationale Republik. He refused to provide any further information as the foreign nationals have yet to be properly interviewed by SSB agents. A report is unlikely to be unclassified as SSB operations are highly sensitive.

So far, the Secret Service nor the police have released the name of the assailant or any motives. What we do know is that the assailant was apprehended two hours ago and his weapon of choice, as the ND police chief put it, was a handgun, but the type was not released to us. In memory of Mary (1970-2022) and William Jonathon Thacker (1970-2022). William was in and out of the foster system, whereas Mary had grownup privileged. However, despite having different backgrounds, as they put it, "it was fate that brought them together." They had both played important roles in the development of the country over the past 30 years. William was a former Blue Beret, a special force within the Sivion Army. He was one of the driving factors in the Battle of Raymond and Siege of New Danvers in the Sivion Revolution and became a hero in the eyes of many. Following his service, he attended college to become a lawyer while advocating for better care not only for veterans, but for kids within foster care. Before becoming President, he served in both the House and Senate until getting elected in 2016. He was eventually reelected in 2020. His wife, Mary, was a fashion model. However, towards the end of the Sivion Revolution, she advocated for peace; not just in the country, but throughout Declan and Auvyia. She had also advocated for both the environment, education, and a better foster system. They leave behind their five children, three biological and two adopted. A private funeral will initially held by family and close friends of the couple. Then a second public funeral will be held two days after that.
As per Constitutional law, Vice President Anthony St. Johns will take the oath of office later in the day. Many both within and outside the government speculate on whether or not St. Johns will be able to fill Thacker's shoes. Either way though, he will serve out the remaining two years of Thacker's second term.

According to some intense interrogation, Regan was hired to kill President Thacker, but did not intend to kill his wife. He has refused to say who hired him or why they wanted him dead. The

We are currently outside the NDPD headquarters where the Secret Service and New Danvers police are handing off Regan to the Bureau of National Intelligence and Security (BNIS) and the International Intelligence Agency. As you can see behind me, they are desperately holding back protestors from getting to the man who shot and killed President Thacker. All evidence from the shooting will also be transferred over to the Bureau to better conduct the investigation.
Two bangs were heard from the distance. People are cowering in fear, the police and Secret Service draw out their guns to not only protect civilians, but Regan as well. However, it was too late: Regan had been shot. Sniper! Across the street, in the parking garage! remarks one of the agents. Regan has been shot, I repeat he has been shot! Call an ambulance! But it was all in vain, as the assassin was shot through the heart and stomach and was quickly bleeding out. Long live the king, Regan said smugly as he coughed up blood.
People of Sivio and of Declan and Auvyia, it seems this case goes even deeper than we thought. Our assassin has been shot in what appears to be a cover up. Bureau, Secret Service, IIB agents, and police are storming across the street to find the shooter. There is panic in the streets. A message from President St. Johns states that he wished to thank other nations for their sympathy and help in these times. He has also implored citizens to try to remain calm and that we will get to the bottom of this one way or another.

United Minister of the Environment announces new Solar Plan
It was announced today that a new plan was put in place to begin the shift to solar power. In the words of Viktros Tenano, "In cooperation with the United Ministry of Infrastructure, we are proud to introduce our new Roadside Solar Plan. All new public roads to be built will now be built lined with solar panels. Additionally, on the shoulders of pre-existing major highways will be built solar panels. The panels will be used to power portions of major cities."
The first new road to be built while the plan is in effect will be completed sometime in late November.

Evergreen Republic Decides "Not to Go to War Over Massage Chairs"
Heated discussions have ended with the Dux declaring that no wars will be fought over the mysterious coin-operated massage chairs that have appeared inconspicuously in Evergreen malls, tempting as it may be. The decision was made after meetings of the joint chiefs of staff. The chairs have been loosely connected to the Romanic mafia.

It has been over 24 hours since President Thacker was assassinated. His successor, Andrew St. Johns, was sworn in at 12:58 pm ND-A time. The private funeral will take place in Thacker's home town, Rosewood, two weeks from now. As per their wills, William will be buried in his military uniform; and the couple will be buried together. The public funeral will take place here in the capital two days after the private funeral. As per their family's wishes, the bodies will stay in Rosewood.
As for the dire situation that has been created, the agents and police did not catch the shooter that assassinated Edward Regan. However, it appears that the mystery shooter left in a hurry and left behind key evidence, such as the gun that was used, a change of clothes, and extra ammo. Regan died on the way to the hospital.

In the investigation of Pac derman potentially false flagging the Platoon of peace, our teams have discovered the ship initially had internal failures. As we should all know, a paper trail is needed nor should the ship have been moved from Derman docks. However, much of this paper trail has mysteriously vanished, destroyed, or was non-existent. Another potential theory put forward by investigators is the secret acquisition of PoP missiles; however, if that is the case, the Derman government may have failed to note the direction said missile came from. We await New Nationale Einheit for more evidence to make any more formal accusations and demands.
