Also yes
We romanians are faithful

Well, as in, my family doesn't want to seem like our grandma, about 2 days ago she sent a letter to my dad and his sister telling them how much of a disappointment they were. My dad and his sister were the only family members who are still in contact.

Your grandmother and my Aunt Celia would get along like a house on fire. My Aunt Celia once telephoned my mother from her home in Bloemfontein just to call her, well, I can't say it here...

I remember one year, my aunt Celia sent my mother a Birthday card, I think it was in 2002, and it just said: "I hope you die soon." that's all...

Oh, right, that seems like it would be a "respectful" conversation.

I try, but, my mother despises her, I want to try and have a nice conversation but her health is rapidly declining and anytime you try to talk to her, she starts talking about conspiracy theories about how the left is some sort of "demon party."

You think that's bad, I had to listen to her toast about "South Africa's good old days" every Christmas, then we stopped inviting her.
