Roosters that herald the rising sun are immediately sent to the slaughterhouse, onions have been banned due to their tendency to cause eye irritation, contestants on Snipland's Got Talent are screened by the government to make sure that they actually have talent, and the government recently donated a surfboard to an impoverished family in a landlocked region. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Snipland's national animal is the Snipets, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its national religion is snipism.
