Also, Van de Ven is a phenom!

I wish our defense was world class. No offense to Ілля Борисович Забарний or Marcos Senesi. Plus, our star player of Solanke is a big weeb so... yay! And uh, rip Luton town. Doing some math, assuming a 1-0 defeat for Nottingham, the Hatters need a 12-0 win to even tie them in goal difference for a secure flight. Womp womp get down you Hatters! Enjoy Portsmouth away.

NS seriously needs to uh... do smth about the ads. Way too lewd!

Hello guy, me just learn English. still no good but I can understand a little basic words.

AdBlocker is the way to go! (Also, I'm pretty sure ads are selected based on your previous web activity, but that's none of my business....)

You are doing fine! Keep practicing. You are doing better than you give yourself credit for.

On another note - I'm American, so no one around me is as passionate about Eurovision as I am, but Joost Klein was robbed.
The way EBU handled the situation (and practically everything else about this year's competition) was disgraceful.
I'm glad to see Nemo win and Baby Lasagna come in second. Also, Spain's performance was HOT!!
Still, I'm desperate to know more about what prompted the disqualification of "Europapa".
Frustratingly, it doesn't look like there will be any further official statements from EBU about it and I don't trust my Google translate skills to accurately read the Dutch and Swedish articles about it.
Here's to hoping next year's competition is not nearly as fraught with controversy.

I suppose you have seen the amount of public vote Israel got... I think I hate this continent even more rn

I did. I had heard that was the result of an online campaign to skew the results. I also have heard vague reports of intimidation of some of the other performers by the Israeli delegation.
I suspect Joost's "Why not?" comment to Golan/the EBU moderator had more to do with his disqualification than we are told. I feel some vindication that Israel didn't crack the top 3.
But again, as an American there is little coverage over here for me to confidently draw conclusions with. I can only hope the Israeli invasion ends soon (and the Russian one too) so we can all enjoy the music without politics & bloodshed next year.

sigh I only watch euruvison for the outfits. The your a vision award is serious bro! it should just go to beautiful Suomi because I am pretty sure dude was peach

I think Bambie could've handled the loss a tad better but Ireland was robbed. Certainly deserved higher than sixth. I can't help but wonder what happened backstage to cause them to miss dress rehearsal although I feel certain it had something to do with the drama with the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation.

Hopefully the non-qualification streak is over though.

Question. My country, Snowland, has an AU where it exists in the real world. In said real world, in the modern day, the USSR no longer exists, with the Russian Federation taking its place. Snowland is meant to be a communist country, although due to the fall of the USSR, it would likely enter into a special period akin to other communist countries. Considering the geopolitics of today, and placed into the real world, would Snowland be a part of the Russia-China bloc (and correct me if there even is one), or would it be neutral? Note that Snowland is, for one, still relatively economically prosperous and two, a great power (although not as influential as China, around as influential as Russia).

Note that, regardless of the choice that this board would make, there would likely be parts of the government that would want to choose the other option.

Edit: I guess maybe it could be a part of the American bloc too? But I find that highly unlikely, considering historical precedent

I couldn't agree more. I have a feeling all the drama surrounding this year's competition would make a hell of a book. I am voraciously devouring any bit of info I get. Bambie seemed to indicate there was so much more to the stories we as fans got.
