Since we were discussing political signs a little while ago: I went on a pretty long trip all around my extended neighborhood earlier in order to enjoy the ~65 degree weather (that is a typical winter temperature here) and saw two Biden stickers on cars vs. one Trump yard sign. This area trends quite Republican so I found that ratio to be interesting. I noticed that neither of the cars were SUVs or trucks, just plain ol' sedans. My ballot has already been counted and I think that most of you can probably figure out who got my vote…

The letter E?

I think you are a little mixed up over here, sir.

I'd say tilted sideways rather than mixed up.

Hmm, perhaps the region is off keel? I suggest we all rush to starboard in hope of righting the craft.

Yes, FINALLY. Someone got it.

You might want to re-read the first two replies ;-)

I realize that I haven’t asked one of my National questions for a while, so today I’ll ask two (though one of them is very simple)

1. Which American political parties are being supported by which of YN’s political parties? And during the primary seasons, were there any specific American candidates endorsed by YN’s political parties?

2. Which is more common in YN: Art Nouveau or Art Deco? And if it’s the former, what specific sub-style (Art Nouveau, Jugenstil, Modernisme, Stile Libertie, Glasgow Style, Tiffany Style, etc.)

Here is the official breakdown:

Union of Social Democrats: Bernie for the Primaries, Biden for the General Election

The Greens: Bernie for the Primaries, Biden for the General Election

Liberal Party: Buttigieg or Biden for the Primaries, Biden for the General Election

Pax Unio: Marianne Williamson, Cory Booker, and Biden for the Primaries, Biden for the General Election

Independents United: N/A (though they did release a report condemning the fact that Howie Hawkins and Jo Jorgensen couldn’t participate in the Debates)

Centrist Union: N/A, though most MPs and members seem to prefer Biden

Conservative People’s Party: Trump (though some members of the “Old Guard” of the Conservative MPs appear to privately dislike him)

New Right: Trump

In addition, the “Alliance for Progress” coalition, comprising of the USd, the Greens, the Liberals, and Pax Unio, has officially come out in support of Joe Biden in the General Election, while the Conservative-New Right coalition officially has supported Trump since day one.

Art Nouveau is much more common, with the entire city of Nance in Central Barael being full of it, as well as many buildings and villas in the Catalan Community bein built in the Modernisme (Catalan Modernist) style of Art Nouveau (though they tend to resemble the work of Lluís Domènech i Montaner more than Antoni Gaudí).

That being said, some have likened the “Futuro-Gothic” architecture of Scania with Art Deco designs, but most architectural scholars consider Futuro-Gothic to be its own separate style, with it being considered a fusion of mainly Gothic/Neo-Gothic, Modernist, and Expressionist architecture, though there is still some Art Deco influence, just not as much.

1. The Green Party, Green-Liberal Party and Power to the People and Planet all endorse and support the Democratic Party, while the Ecologist Party and Party for Freedom and Democracy support the Republican Party. The Green-Socialist Party and Green Communist Party support the Green Party, while the Liberty Union supports the Libertarian Party. The Earth Party is neutral.

2. Art Nouveau, with a specific nature theme. As such, it doesn't fit into any of the categories listed.

The Communism, It's A Party! party informally condemns all mainstream US parties as imperialists, the left wing parties as factionalists, revisionists or Trotskyites, hopes for a 0-0 draw in the election, and officially makes no comment on the internal democratic processes of any other nation.

1. There are no political parties in this nation. The Taken King endorses both candidates as there's a 99.99999999999[ERROR STATISTIC NOT FOUND] percent chance both will end up obliterating the nation, which, as Earth's primary superpower, makes it difficult to effectively launch an invasion. We've seen enough of their history films to know that challenging Earth while America lives is suicide.

2. Abstract art, mostly. Usually involves swords and blood and Hive magic.

Cryptic news flash about the Zombie Apocalypse, what do you make of it?

Dr Teeth wrote:Cryptic news flash about the Zombie Apocalypse, what do you make of it?

IMO it means it's not happening.

Yeah I think they've called it off because they are worried about offending people due to so many people having been turned into zombies this year. Hang on...

I read the news, and I think it's either Max Barry being sarcastic or serious. It's really, really hard to tell which. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Dr Teeth wrote:Cryptic news flash about the Zombie Apocalypse, what do you make of it?

I think it was discussed before that it would probably be called off because of the reasons mentioned by Mozworld and it sure looks like that. However if the official reasoning is indeed that "they don't want to offend people"....than I am offended by that.

EDIT: Nonetheless the (RL) world has bigger problems....so {shrugg shoulders}

Nation of ecologists wrote: it's either Max Barry being sarcastic or serious

I think you can safely rule out the latter. I mean, it's Max Barry.

To me the news post suggested that it will go ahead, as it is labelled Z-Day9, and max barry is quite sarcastic in a lot of the news posts.

Trouble is, in previous years the news post with the countdown was either on the 26th or 27th. We are now on the 29th and still no countdown. So it's either off or we're going back to how it was the first year and it'll be a surprise that it starts.
