Yes if you look in the settings there is a no zombies check box and if you click the info icon it says "Do not display (most) information relating to the annual Z-Day Zombie Apocalypse." So Z-Day will be happening this year. This is my first Z-Day so I am excited.

Hi Moz, I don't remember if Ransium was given border control last year. Wasn't there something for which we had temporary border control given to additional people, or was that for something else?
And yes, without Errinundera being active, we're in a bind with that sort of thing. (And hence why the electoral term is overdue again since Sept. 16th or whenever...) :-/
Also, I've been meaning to say that I've enjoyed your choice of "Quote of the Fortnight" over the past few months. I have often remarked to myself how fitting or how truthful they are. The current one is no exception! :-)
I was talking about people given temporary status to eject anyone that tries coming in with zombies or whatever. We've done that the past few years and I'm fairly active for this event. Figured I could help.
I think the founder has to give the delegate that power but I don’t totally recall.
I think I read one year that both the delegate and founder get emergency border control powers during Z-Day that don't cost influence, but I'm not sure if non-executive delegates get them.
Regarding handing out border control powers to other people, so far as I'm aware that is only possible for the founder to do, so if Errinundera isn't around, then Ruinenlust might be the only one with those powers.
Thanks. I often try and find something that would be fitting for the moment. I usually try and find a spooky one for this time of year, but opted for that one this year.
I *might* be, if that automatic thing happens. If I am, I will try to get online as much as possible, but it would be largely impossible for me to be constantly on NS for the whole duration of the event if I didn't even have one person to split the watches with. Sleeping is nice, for one thing, lol.
And if not, then we're bereft of border control entirely, since I have a bit of doubt that Errinundera will materialize within the next day or so. :-/
It's totally true about autumn. As though to mock the human world, this October has been by far one of the most pleasant and tranquil in the natural world that I can remember. Warm, but not all of the time, sunny, with some clouds, mild morning lows, and whatnot. The only thing is that it's been drier than usual, until today.

Ruinelust won't have border control powers unless Err is around to give them, the Z-Day related powers refer to additional kinds of border control that are only available during Z-Day.
In previous years, all or most ROs (being trusted government officials) have received Border Control powers temporarily, in order to enable the temp bans of zombie collectors. This year we seem likely to be running without either the ability to password or the ability to remove zombie collectors, so we'll have that additional challenge.
As to the problems from Err not being around, a preview of my Forest Keeper platform for the election (whenever that is) was to provide for a constitutional backup for when Err isn't around (probably for a week), and I'm thinking now that we vest Executive powers (ie, the ones enabling RO management) on the Delegate by Forest Keeper discretion to avoid these kinds of problems more generally.

If we aren't able to have border control or put password on the region I might have to exterminate zombies though I would like to have more survivors and be able to cure zombies. Say if someone joined our region and started sending zombies to our nations I think we would have to send zombies to that said nation.

The latter. Probably prudent to be suspicious of the puppet chain coming from the sinkers right before Z-Day though.

Someone (I'm guessing Seymour) is transferring puppets to Forest - which reminds me that I should at some point (though without the password, I could do it more conveniently on Z-Day itself and actually have them all curing rather than doing nothing...).

Well Mr. Can. Your not very active on the RMB are you? People aren't gonna recognize you if your not really active on the RMB. There are some exceptions though. Like Errinundera. There are a lot of other people who you probably recognize who aren't too active on the RMB I just don't feel like listing them all. :/
Yeah, that's fair actually. I used to be a whole lot more active, but in the past couple years that's died down a bit.
I can still brag about giving out the second most likes out of anyone in Forest though.
Haha....I do to. His approach to "ask for more puppets" before this N-day this year kind of struck a nerve with me. Like governments or religions asking their followers to make more children it kind of contributes to a problem that doesn't need to be here but comes forth from a desire for more "power". Don't get me wrong I like Seymour and I can see how puppets can be useful in certain situations but their impact seriously takes a lot of the fun away from these "side events".

I'm really sorry you feel that way. If there's something I can do with my puppets (aside from removing them) to not ruin other's fun, I'm open to suggestions. They're just here because I know they help stat-wise and part of me just likes having a network to keep track of.
