Today I am looking at REALLY bad weather passing through.
But before I batten down the hatches, let's look at today's ranking.

Today is the Largest Welfare Programs (States) in Atlantis.

Applause for Veedel of Lating for having the largest program.

Lemming and ElinTol are on the first page (although VERY near the bottom).
Onyx is hiding out on page five. (You will have to hide harder, I found you anyway.) :)
PC, Madrocea, and I are hanging out back on the last page.
Of course, I'm dead last! I send all my folks asking for welfare to Veedel! :)

I might have to do something about that, I don't want my populace too thick. They might start thinking that overthrowing the government is a good idea, then all they will be good for is fertilising the fields with their blood. Plus it just looks bad.

The sweet spot is thick enough to not know how to overthrow the govt, but not smart enough to start thinking they can do a better job.

I prefer to think of it as them getting a chance to leave life early to avoid the Holiday rush.

although if we gain any new countries to our region- he will drop to the last.
ElinTol is still on the last page, but now at last!

There must be a correlation there between industry and food...
I can't decide if it means we are selling all our food or if a well fed populace works harder.

This would be even more funny, IF it wasn’t true! :)

Went to a Fast Food Restaurant last night.
This place shall remain nameless to protect the guilty. :)
Any way the meal came to $16.18. I handed over a 20 dollar bill.
Employee #1 rings up $30.00. Machine shows change of $13.82.

She freaks out. Seriously. Total brain melt.
Calls Employee #2 over for help. Saying that she needs help to void and redo everything.
Employee #1 tells #2 that she doesn’t know how to fix it (void).
But it wasn’t her fault. That the machine just went crazy.

#2 rolls her eyes, and says that they just need to figure out the correct change.
#2 then grabs a calculator. And starts pressing buttons.
It’s battery seems to be dead.

I then say that I should be given $3.82.
Both look at me and ask if I’m sure.
At least the food was good. :)
