THE AGREEMENT

This document contains the agreement between the regions listed above known as the 'Christian Regions Cooperation Agreement'.

AIM
The Christian Community on NationStates, whilst being a diverse, vibrant and large community, in the past has existed with a limited degree of cooperation and in relative isolation. Seeking to redress this, we recognise that in our diversity as Christians, there is more served by coming together than remaining apart. We aim to work collaboratively pursing common objectives and goals, placing God at the centre of everything we do, recognising the strengths of working together rather than apart. This agreement forms the basis of these goals, establishing itself as a means of seeking greater cooperation and interaction among Christian Regions.

The 'Christian Region's Cooperation Agreement' is:
-A basis for increasing cooperation, integration and interaction of Christians on NationStates.
-An expression of the will for greater unity and cooperation among Christian Regions.
-An enforceable agreement of freely associating Christian Regions, executed in the spirit of the agreement.

The 'Christian Region's Cooperation Agreement' is not:
-A treaty or establishment of a supranational organisation or government for reasons of roleplay or otherwise.
-An ecumenical council, declaration, statement or any other thing which has a similar effect or outcome.
-A vehicle for exclusion or division and is not a statement or definition of the Christian Faith.

ARTICLE 1 - MEMBERSHIP
A) Membership of the CRCA shall be open to all Christian Regions in Nation States.
B) A Region shall be determined as a 'Christian Region' for the purpose of membership when:
i) Upon application, a Region of 2 or more nations has a name which clearly suggests a Christian affiliation or has some other feature which so clearly identifies the region as being a Christian Region, and;
ii) Accepts the 'Statement of Faith' as defined in this agreement.

ARTICLE 2 - STATEMENT OF FAITH
This 'Statement of Faith' is created with the intention of harmonising doctrinal differences between Regions and Nations.

We believe:
A) In God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
B) That the Bible is the inspired word of God.
C) Man obtained a sinful nature by disobeying God, removing mankind from a position of grace.
D) God promised Abraham he would make him the father of a great nation, Israel.
E) Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt and to Mount Sinai where the Law and 10 Commandments were revealed, after which he led them to Canaan.
F) After returning from Egypt, God led the Israelites through Judges, Rulers and Prophets.

We believe that Jesus:
G) Is God’s only Son, our Lord, the Jewish Messiah who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born to Mary of a Virgin birth.
H) Preached the Gospel to the 1st Century Palestinians during his ministry.
I) Suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended into hell.
J) On the third day he rose again, he ascended into heaven,
K) He is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
L) That Jesus Christ will return, reign over all the earth and establish the Kingdom of God.

We believe in:
M) the Holy Spirit; the holy universal Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

I am not opposed to the idea by any means. My concern would be making sure that regions with fascists characteristics are kept far away from this alliance because that is all it would take for the powers that be in NS to blacklist us and maintain a negative view of this project.

Also, does Article 2-L imply that one cannot be an amillennialist? Given the age of this agreement, I think it could be fruitful to write up a new charter agreement once there is enough interests from some core regions.
