The Secretariat of Amity has revealed a pivotal reversal of it's foreign policy in the wake of the arrest of seven Khovezi sailors and new legislation from Caryton that outlaws same-sex acts and marriages. Although the sailors were released the Autocratic State has made clear that it no longer sees a valuable ally in the Spiritual Republic and has cut all ties with the regime in Caryton. The Secretariat of Amity has gone so far as to withdraw it's recognition of Caryton as a sovereign state and has expressed interest strengthening ties with Caryton's rivals. The news comes as welcome by the people of Khovezzem who have long derided Caryton as 'barbarous country' and silently questioned why their government sought to align with them. Although the Secretary of Amity has not revealed the reason for this change in policy, Mr. Khuvem Zarvamii has assured the public that the decision comes directly from the Autocrat Herself and is therefor a well-informed decision. Though many questions remain among the Khovezi people, the knowledge that their Autocrat was personally responsible for this change in policy has put to rest any doubt that this was a wise move. The Autocrat, after all, knows best. The Secretariat of Peace has yet to reveal the status of the re-deployed Sixth Fleet or it's destination but has promised that it's movements will be revealed when they are no longer a matter of national security.

Additionally, we have seen your request for strengthened relations with your allies, such as us, and given your ban of Carytonic people from your soil, have officially granted your government and its people preliminary approval into the Fast & Unrestricted Immigration Area (FUNIA) program as established under the Diplomatic & Free Immigration Act.

Our government would also like to formally extend invites to your government of our international programs, the Joint Criminal Apprehension Program (JCAP) and the Vocational Training Foreign Exchange Program (VT-FEP). If your government joins either program, you will receive an expedited background investigation and full approval status into the FUNIA program, should it be successful.

Under preliminary approval, your people are to be subjected to random searches for reasons of national security, and additionally otherwise, may make use of any and all benefits that fully approved nations receive under the program, excluding permanent residency, which is for fully approved nations only.
