PROPOSAL FOR JOINT LEGISLATIVE REVIEW

Greetings our esteemed friends,

I have an idea that I would like to officially propose to the Ferwerter Government. As some within your realm of diplomatic affairs would be aware, sometime last month, I officially revised and amended our fair Constitution, known as the Basic Rights, to not enumerate rights, for reasons of national security, and have vowed instead, to only put it into written words, on paper, through legislation.

The situation within Makko Oko is unsound, with racial bias and discrimination running mad through unkept and unlegislated territories and areas. In a meeting with our Minister Of Internal Security, we discussed ways to fully criminalize and stop discrimination in its tracks, and the idea of the 'Safety & Equality Act' was formed. Due to circumstances outside of my own control, I feel I may be a bit underqualified to write such huge legislation, and our own fair judges don't exactly know where to start, but are also technically not obliged to assist in these processes, and handle merely court duties.

Therefore, I, as the Emperor of Makko Oko, am requesting on behalf of the government, to establish an international legislative review tribunal with your government, to meet in either your capital or ours, to not only write, but to solicit feedback on such legislation. We ask that you keep in mind our different cultures, and with it, our different styles of law and justice.

We ask for an official response to this proposal as soon as able, and upon receipt of official approval, shall officially begin the tribunal. This is a unique idea never tried before, but we hope to unify the great nations of this world, and within it, their people in power, to form some of the widest reaching, and most security-inducing, laws in the nation.
