Capitalism is a class system in which some individuals (capitalists) minimize the opportunities of others (proletarians) to produce and exchange goods and services without giving tribute (surplus value i.e. profit, interest); free market maximizes equality of opportunity for individuals to produce and exchange goods and services on a quid quo pro basis.
