The West Africa Confederate Navy has begun it's submarine offensive against the Orsonian warships assigned to make aggressive maneuvers against the Wagains, using the maneuvers' aggressive nature against an ally to identify the precise locations of said enemy warships to enable greater efficiency of tracking and targeting of said warships by submarines.

The Subs, however, are ordered to deploy a signal beacon before starting their operation on a timer delay to activate after the Subs have already dispersed to their attack positions(but before things start exploding) to signal to all nearby vessels that the Confederate navy is launching a military operation in the region. This step being to try and mitigate the incidents of Orsonian vessels thinking they are under fire by the Wagains.

Imperial Navy vessels in the region are ordered to be on high alert for Malian attacks and respond in kind. Large swarms of drones are being deployed to act as cover for warships and submarines, armed with missiles of their own. Point-defense will shoot down many of them, but it is hoped that at least some of the drones will be able to do damage, while also absorbing the bulk of laser, railgun, or missile fire and allowing the warships to make successful counterattacks. The navy is still making aggressive maneuvers wherever possible, stubborn in its conviction to intimidate the Wagains. Additionally, they hope that some Wagain vessels will be caught in the cross fire, causing an international incident between Mali and Wagondia.
