General Lunre accepts, though he requests he be detained alongside his men. Soldiers begin to bring over what remains of their ammunition stockpiles as well as their weapons and flags and hand it over to the Blayredeshians. At the end Lunre also surrenders his general's cap to Karloff, a formality among the Gatisian army.

RP: Vetting Process
With Lunre’s surrender the Blayredeshians and their collaborationist Free-Staters begin detaining Socialist soldiers and send them to POW camps behind the front lines. One they arrive at the camps the CIS and its intelligence allies in the Marrastists and Mesnyists will use their resources to background check individual soldiers. Those with a clean record are sent home, those who may be considered sympathetic to the Anti-Socialist cause such as conscripts will be recruited to either the Free State Militia, The Mesnyists, or the Marrastists and join in the fight against the Northern Remnants, and finally those considered too loyal to the Socialists or have a history of committing crimes on the federal government’s behalf will be executed. General Lunre and his officer corps are the first to be subjected to the vetting and background checks although they’re less likely to be recruited and will either remain detained or be killed if their history in the Socialist Government is deemed “too dangerous” by the Blayredeshians. Meanwhile the Blayredeshian Army has begun to drive north as Karloff resumes his offensive to finish the north off once and for all.
