....hhmmm...this raises a lot of questions for me. If they get too personal just tell me to back of. My main question is "what made you join Forest and what did you hope to get out of it?". However it sounds like you might be a bit too impatient here. As you said some of the people here are very smart and have found a way to communicate with each other about often complex or sensitive topics that works for them. I can understand that for a newcomer it may look intimidating. However as long as you stay civilized and comply with most of the RMB rules this board is rather forgiving and you will get the hang of it. I have a habit to "go against the current" and I have been accused of "being that guy" on more than one occasion. However part of the strength of the Forest RMB is its openness towards opinions of all types and levels. So I would consider it a shame if you were to decide to leave just because you felt your opinion wouldn't be "good" enough.
