Region: The Hill

Hello The Hill,

I am also running for WA Secretary-General, and as you are not officially supporting anyone right now, I wonder whether you would vote for me.

The focus of my campaign is environment, and the future of our planet. If I win, I will work to push the authorities to impose much harsher sanctions against anyone involved in activities that have a negative impact on Environment.

Dear NS resident,

I assume that you must be concerned about world affairs since you are scrolling down this page right now. If you are a WA member, you vote for and against resolutions in an attempt to make our world a better place. I appreciate you.

Now you have to make even a more consequential decision. You have to vote for the future of the WA, and hence, for the future of our planet. Our only home, which is a pale blue dot spinning on its orbit in this vast universe.

The Earth is our eternal home.

And how do we treat it?

We pollute the air with industrial fumes, the very air that we breathe in!

We contaminate the water with tons of waste, the very water we drink!

We poison the plants with insecticides, the very plants we ingest!

Poison swells in your lungs, poison devours your cells, poison circulates in your veins; and yet---and yet you are happy to have a house, a job, a car, and thankful for the small mercies that this life gives you, not even wondering at what cost?

I don't believe you are happy, my friend! I believe you are aware as much as I am that we are on the verge of being the victim of the monster we have created - the monster that is called ''industry''. If we don't act, our inaction usually has one reason: The belief that we are alone, and we cannot do anything to oppose the will of the insensible majority, we look at people, and ''they swarm numerous like locusts, industrious like ants, thoughtless like a natural force, pushing on blind and orderly and absorbed, impervious to sentiment, to logic, to terror, too, perhaps. --- and we think 'What if nothing could move them?'''

I understand you. But do not despair, my friend! Together, we can break the vicious spiral of silence and ''move them''. You will be amazed how many people will summon their courage to speak up when they see other people ''break the ice''.

The future starts now.

Vote for me, vote for environment, vote for the future of our planet.

And we will protect our home, together, so that we may call it ''Home Sweet Home!'' ---

Always.

And forever.
