The monarchy of Khavvkhnsjnjiekh

The Monarchy of Khavvkhnjsnjiekh (kriptl'vardl: “Monarkhl Khavvkhnsjnjiekh”, maagu vardul: “monarkhu vardul)”, also known under the name 'The Magic of Nature' (kriptl’vardl: Parasu-dookh, maagu vardul: maagu parasu), is a large country situated in the region of Groland. Khavvkhnjsnjiekh is an archipelago in the Free Sharks’ sea (kriptl’vardl: Vval’Aaaijij, maagu vardu: aajulujuj-vvaalu), north-west of the Queendom of Kindjal.

Khavvkhnsjnjiekh is inhabited by about ten billion Varduls, of which about 21 million human persons. The Monarchy has been fully led by the laws of nature, of which every attempt of degradation may be severely punished. Happiness and sustainability of all the living beings are prioritized over the benefit of human persons, so-called “Homo sapiens”.

The Office for the Education of Foreigners of the Ministry of Education is the central body of the Monarchy of Khavvkhnsjnjekh that is in charge of contact with foreigners prior to their first contact with the Monarchy of Khavvkhnsjnjiekh.

The body is analogous to what is in other countries known under the name ‘Ministry of Foreign Affairs’. The Office for the Education of Foreigners is composed of the elders and the youth representatives from all the regions of Khavvkhnsjnjiekh: representatives of the main rural subregions, and a representative for the museum cities, whose headquarter is situated in the Monarchic Museum of Magic (MMM) in the Capital, the Museum Capital City of Dosada.

The flag of our people

The monarchistic flag of Khavvkhnsjnjiekh is the Vaardul Rakoorgphu, and is composed of nine wide lines. The central panel, on which there are three zetzlu (eight-pointed starts), is red. White lines separate this central red panel from the neighboring livid panels. These blue-livid lines are delimited from the distal livid panels by the wide lines that are of the same width as the distal blue ones.

Three eight-pointed stars represent three main regions of the country, which live mostly on red earth. These regions shine like zetzlu giving light to all the parts of the world. White lines represent mountains of our country, between which water, drunk by all the inhabitants of our regions, runs.

The languages of our people

Kriptl’vardl and maagu vardul stand as the two official languages of the Monarchy of Khavvkhnsjnjiekh. Kriptl’vardl is a common name for what is known among Varduls as “the rural language”, while ‘maagu vardul’ serves as ‘the museum language’. Kriptl’vardl lacks norm and is thus hardly translatable into other human persons’ languages. ‘Maagu vardul’ has the norm and is regarded by human persons to be more simple, user-friendly language.

Kriptl’vardl is a mixture of the natural sounds with the human persons’ dialects, which is understandable and acceptable to majority of Varduls. Kriptl’vardl is spoken by about five billion Varduls, among which 15 million human persons; while ‘Maagu vardul’ has been spoken only by 21 million human persons.

Kriptl’vardl has the writing system composed of between 72 and 99 graphemes. Altogether, between 182 and 211 phonemes are commonly used in kriptl’vardl. Maagu vardul is poorer in the phonetic diversity, as it has the spoken system composed of altogether 77 phonemes. It has five basic (or six, if “I” is counted) written vowels, and 11 basic written consonants. Vowels may be long (doubled) or short (single), so they are altogether 12 of them. Diphthongs are known, altogether six of them, which can be short and long, meaning there are 12 of them. Thus, maagu vardul has the phonetic system composed of 24 vowels. Some of the consonants may be muted; consonant diphthongs and triphthongs are known, resulting in altogether (with 11 basic consonants) with the system composed of 53 consonant phonemes. Most of the known bird songs are sang in kriptl’vardl.

The Monarchistic Constitution of Khavvkhnsjnjiekh

The constitution of the Vardul Monarchy, better known under the name The Principles of Amadar is composed of six brief and clear sections, which have been directly adopted from the Free land of Amadar by the Ministry of Education, the Office for the Education of Foreigners (the OEF) on 1st July 2020.

Vaardul Raagorphu

The monarchistic flag of Khavvkhnsjnjiekh (Vardul: Vaardul Rakoorgphu or Vardul Raagorphu) is a five- or a six-coloured flag featuring nine vertical bands. The Raakorgphu is well known among the nations of the region of Groland, where it is also known to be referred as to l'Eragorphe, Rakorkva, or Ræghörgh.

Design

Three bands are wide and cover the whole flag surface. The central panel, on which there are three zetzlus (eight-pointed starts), is gules (red). Here is one large central zetzlu in the top and bellow it two smaller zetzlus. Each zetzlu is colored or (yellow) or argent (white), with sable (black/dark) edge. Two lateral wide panes are coloured azure or purple.

Two narrow argent (white) lines separate the central gules panel from the neighboring azure/purple panels. In the distal lateral portion of each azure/purple field there is a narrow argent line, usually of the same width as the distal remaining azure/purple piece of the field.

Symbolism

Three eight-pointed stars represent three main regions of the country, namely Dry Mountainous, Humid Lowland, and Humid Mountainous. Where one can see the earth, the colour of the earth is red, what is the reason for the central panel being gules (red). These regions shine like zetzlu giving light to all the parts of the region and the world.

White lines represent mountains of our country, between which water, drunk by all the inhabitants of our regions, runs. Clean water and sky give peaceful life to all the inhabitants of the Monarchy of Khavvkhnsjnjiekh, and that is why azure/purple cover the largest surface of the flag.

History

The Raagorphu has been approved by the government of Khavvkhnsjnjiekh and welcomed by the people of the Monarchy on 9 August 2007, which is the establishing day of the Monarchy, according to the Homo sapiens time calculation. The Raagorphu was designed by the Monarch, the Councils of Elders and Youth, as well as by the Interspecies council under the Tame Boar's (Sus scrofa) presidency.

Flag variations

Hitherto, three flag variations were in use by the Office for the Education of Foreigners (the OEF). Those are first (2007 to 2017), second (2017 to 2021), and a third version (since 2021).

There is no such a thing as the official Raagorphu, nor Zetzlu. The description of the flag can be interpreted in multiple ways and the flag can be made from different materials, depending on their very availability in different regions of the Monarchy. Colors of the fields can vary from argent to white, from or to yellow, from azure to purple, and grom gules to sanguine. The ratio can vary from anything from 1:2 to 17:41. There is even one 2:3 ratio reported in use. Zetzlus can be argent or or, can have pointed or mild arms.
