People's Secretary, since Kroraine is no longer active (and is no longer a citizen of Altay).

I'm finally working on a proper factbook about Eastern Tatarstan.

Also Eastern Tatarstan is banned from voting because it is clear that he will try to hold his power

I never recruited anybody only to vote for NO. Besides that, who exactly are new members? Western Tatarstan, or who?

Everyone who joins altay after i posted referendum

WHy did u vote? U are banned from voting!

There have always been some unwritten laws regarding polls. Your actions brought me to finally write them down as the §4c.
Your request to deny the voting right to a certain group of citizens violates the 4th clause of this law. Thus I advise you and all other officers to never ever impart unlawful restrictions on civil liberties of Altay's citizens.

This is an address regarding the referendum.

1)non-executive Founder
There is not, and never will be, a problem that could be solved by denying me the executive power. Such action solves nothing and it's simply a restriction for the sake of the restriction it self. If you think that having a non-executive Founder is good for anything, just tell me, because I think that it's good for nothing whatsoever at all.

2) North sachalin for WA Delegate
Nothing in Altay prevents you from joining WA and endorsing him. However, North Sachalin violated the clauses 4 and 6 of §3c as recently as this week and the loss of delegacy was a legal consequence of these actions. He also attempted to restrain voting freedom, which goes against the 4th clause of §4c. He never reads WA proposals at vote and almost every time he voted for the side that had less votes. I perceive such approach to WA delegacy as utterly irresponsible, thus I will not endorse him.

3) elections every month
Overlooking the fact that putting this request into practice would call for rewriting of §3c, §5c, §6c and §7c, I'm worried about the time management of so frequent elections. Currently, the whole elections season lasts for up to 24 days (11 days for preselection, 3 days for final preparations, 8 - 9 days for the election polls, 1 day for the appointing of new officers). After Altay reaches a population including 13 active nations, the Regional committee would be established again, with RCM elections adding 3 more days, total of 27 days. And when Altay hits 100 nations and more, there would be 9 RCMs, adding 9 days, total of 32. As you can see, an election season this long would not even be doable in a single month. I suggest that 3 months is shall be the minimum term duration, in other words - no more than 4 elections per year.

Whilst I do not agree with all of the above, it has been sufficient to sway my vote.

What do you disagree with? Have I wrote something wrong?

Also, you don't have to vote against if you disagree, since it's a referendum, and not a classical voting, only the number of approvals matters. If it gets approved by ⅔ of citizens, then its gonna be implemented. If not, then it doesn't reflect the will of the majority and it won't get implemented.

My main issue is that of §4c, I find it somewhat perturbing that you are trying to enforce a law restricting activities with regards to polls on the same day it was non-democratically implemented, which was also the day a poll was begun which, if passed, could severely limit your power. That is not to say that I agree with North sachalin but rather that I am concerned for our democracy. Regardless, I agree with the rest of what you said.

There is nothing restricting in regard to polls and §4c was passed according to the §2c, so it is fully legal and valid.

New issue of Altay's Tidings is finally here!

Welcome, Yanab!

Since North sachalin wasn't bothered to let everybody except me know, and for those who don't read our newspaper, I inform you that the 1st demand of the referendum has been withdrawn.

Is this region dead? :/

Yanab wrote:Is this region dead? :/

It died about a month ago and I've been recruiting new nations in order to bring life back to Altay. Even 2 or 3 active nations could make it way better, but the problem is that the people who are active are active just in their nations and they don't take part in social life of Altay. One or two of them post in the RMB once in a while, but they mainly just reside there and ignore the regional happenings.

Yanab

I am active almost every day in my nation however i'm not as active here

Eastern Tatarstan thank you for making me People's secretary! But i don't know what should People's secretary do so could you please tell me what is this function about?

You should find all important things in the Regional legislation of Altay. However, you can make some minor trespasses in certain areas because there is not much activity now. I also usually don't appoint people like this and depending on your actions you may or may not stay in office till elections in July, then you'd have to candidate for the office and get reelected. There is also a paragraph on elections in the Regional legislation if you are interested.

Why?
Btw, would you like to contribute in making the preamble of Altay's constitution?
