Drystar wrote:Native? Were your citizens created in a lab from ingredients only found in and about that region?

Natives are those who were born in Rhode Island, having their roots from here, and if you consider it necessary to find out from which, excuse me, the seeds of my fellow citizens appeared, this is your right, which in no way changes the fact that immigrants show contempt for our culture, although they live on the territory of our country. And that there may be no problems in the future on the basis of nationality, I need these citizens to integrate into Rhode Island society.

Federal Eagle Colony wrote:......you do realize that in 1 generation those immigrants will now be natives and still be treated with the same offence thus for standardizing hate in your nation. congrats.

Yes, if these citizens continue to assert themselves as another group in society that does not want to respect what is associated with Rhode Island. You're considering this without taking into account that by Native I mean also those who identify with Rhode Island culture, not just those who were born and live here. My mistake is that I didn't clarify it at first, but now at least you have in mind what it is about.

Federal Eagle Colony wrote:facts, why not make them happier to be natives by showing them they can be themselves, then they might accept you more and thus have the same effect as assimilation but less destroying culture.

How is this supposed to work when they are currently unwilling to accept our culture and customs? They're hardly internationalistic, they care about their cultural background, and if they're showing their rejection of anything to do with Rhode Island at the moment, there may be problems in the future on the basis of nationality, as I said earlier. But the problem is also that there will be more of them. There will be not a small number of people who were born in Rhode Island, but despise this republic. And the problem of this issue is integration, and what I was talking about. But no one pays attention to this.

Zambeziland wrote:I did. They assimilated a lot! Where am I wrong? Look at France, Spain, Italy and Romania!

Also, rude.

No? I'm confused. I don't see the problem.

Your grasp of the ancient world is shaky at best. Let’s go with your example of Spain, those were Gallic not Celtic tribes btw. Once under the rule of Carthage, it became a spoil of the the Punic wars. And Rome’s hold on it was never as secure as you seem to think it was. That was pretty much the common thread for all those provinces that bordered on the edge of the empire.

And since I dislike doing other people’s homework for them, I’ll just put this out there. Latin was the common language used, so why wouldn’t those countries develop mutually understandable languages connected to their root system.

I’m at least hoping this is rp, because otherwise you’re skating on thin ice with the NS guidelines if you push this mindset to hard.

Anyone want to do rp with me?

If you were frightened by the concept of integration, then this is your business. I do not use violent methods, I do not have slavery, nor segregation. Moreover, there can be no complaints against me, against the background of other really shameful countries, where child labor, feudalism and slavery are officially the norm.

I'm just trying to make sure people don't separate themselves from Rhode Island society (culturally, ideologically, and the like), because when a society lives according to the principle "my home is on the edge" - then it's not a society. This mass of people is then incapable even from the point of view of preserving their existence.

then if we took this standard of ¨Native¨ and applied it to the USA, we would have to deport 90% of the USA.
anyone who is not protestant, white, anglo, would have to be deported.
that is called ¨Aryanism¨ or more commonly, ¨Naziism¨

well thats why i said ¨eventually¨ not on day 1. also i consider my family and my familys culture to be scandinavian and irish, yet i would have no problem fighting and dying to defend america should those places try to invade us. your point only works if those groups are so oppressed as to be pushed into the arms of the enemy, which you are doing.

I'll be honest: no. I don't want to play just for RP, but for something more worthwhile...
