Who We Are
The Sovereign Shield (TSS) is a collective of grassroot communities who promote the ideals of National Sovereignty. Member regions may hold slightly different interpretations of the NatSov movement, but generally align on the values of member nation freedoms and restricting overregulation in the new General Assembly. We are encouraged by the work other NatSov groups have accomplished over the past few years in bringing forward our shared goals, but want to specifically highlight smaller regions and raise up their voices to give them a fair seat at the table of the New GA. Member regions vary vastly in size, prestige and connections, but all share the same goal of lifting up new authors in the General Assembly to write smart, common-sense resolutions and repeal any overlegislation that finds its way to approval.
How You Can Win Our Endorsement
TSS will be using the following criterion as the basis for evaluating which candidate we will be endorsing. Depending on what we hear through our interview process, we may either choose to endorse a singular candidate, or leave it open to multiple qualified options. Those who wish to be endorsed should be willing to:
- Meet with us directly to share how they plan to protect the rights of member nations
- Commit to raising up the voices of grassroot regions in the GA, both through authorship pathways and future GenSec election cycles
- Present a clear and coherent vision for the future of the General Assembly and how they see it

TSS is open to considering every region / community units with less than 175 total endorsements, so long as they agree with our NatSov principles and are willing to work together with other member regions to promote it. To apply, please telegram The sovereign shield, or find Miravana on discord. Our movement is both for this election cycle as well as for livelihood of grassroot regions in the future GA. If you do not wish to join the voting bloc for the General Secretary election but are interested in becoming a member post-election, please reach out.
