The Republic of Numidia is a titanic, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by Jugurtha IX with an even hand, and renowned for its ubiquitous missile silos and suspicion of poets. The hard-working population of 20.268 billion Numidians have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The medium-sized government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defense, and Healthcare. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Cirta. The average income tax rate is 19.5%.

The Numidian economy, worth 928 trillion denarii a year, is led by the Tourism industry, with major contributions from Gambling, Basket Weaving, and Book Publishing. Average income is 45,767 denarii, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 3.9 times as much as the poorest.

Cancer rates amongst the richest in society are inexplicably on the rise, the people are famous throughout the region for their perfect yellow teeth, the national guard is mobilized whenever a mother gets separated from her child at the mall, and nighttime sightings of raccoons sporting Circle-A patches and bandanna masks are on the rise. Crime is relatively low, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Numidia's national animal is the lion, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

Numidia is ranked 139,452^nd in the world and 10^th in Terranova for Most Extensive Public Healthcare, scoring 1,240.27 on the Theresa-Nightingale Rating.
