The Allied States of Karzot is a massive, cultured nation, ruled by France Crowe with an even hand, and renowned for its free-roaming dinosaurs, zero percent divorce rate, and digital currency. The compassionate, hard-working, devout population of 2.08 billion Karzotiks are highly moralistic and fiercely conservative, in the sense that they tend to believe most things should be outlawed. People who have good jobs and work quietly at them are lauded; others are viewed with suspicion.

The medium-sized government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Education, and Administration. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of SSönulift. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 63.3%.

The frighteningly efficient Karzotian economy, worth 236 trillion DKKS a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Book Publishing, Tourism, and Trout Farming. State-owned companies are common. Average income is an impressive 113,570 DKKS, but there is a significant disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 331,302 per year while the poor average 30,762, a ratio of 10.8 to 1.

'The Anti-Government Hour' is a popular programme on many of Karzot's radio stations, artists from across the nation compete to renovate the restrooms of old government buildings, immersive video game experiences are interrupted by incessant disclaimer pop-ups, and interest rates mysteriously drop whenever the CBK Governor goes house hunting. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Karzot's national animal is the Karzotik Lizard, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

Karzot is ranked 33,306^th in the world and 1,762^nd in Lazarus for Most Compassionate Citizens, scoring 50.74 on the Kitten Softness Rating.
