The Free Land of Agrasandhani is a large, cultured nation, renowned for its pith helmet sales and punitive income tax rates. The devout population of 133 million Agrasandhanians are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

The large government juggles the competing demands of Spirituality, Administration, and Education. The average income tax rate is 52.8%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The sizeable but inefficient Agrasandhanian economy, worth 4.12 trillion Prishthas a year, is led by the Retail industry, with major contributions from Door-to-door Insurance Sales, Information Technology, and Furniture Restoration. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 30,966 Prishthas, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

The musical cognoscenti insist the national anthem just isn't the same without a double contrabass flute, police officers that upset their bosses get assigned to 24 hour stakeouts of bike sheds, the dessert 'Death by Chocolate' isn't the most lethal dish on the menu, and the army insists there is nothing gay about men in uniforms rolling in the mud. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Agrasandhani's national animal is the Owl, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies.

Agrasandhani is ranked 165,415^th in the world and 549^th in Talonia for Least Corrupt Governments, with 93.01 percentage of bribes refused.
