And controlled opposition, lobbying, look at the investments that government officials make relative to the laws they pass. They do it on purpose. But for what its worth, sorry for getting snippy with ya. The things I have seen in this job, they weigh on my mind far more than most people realize.

Hey Nova, I too work for the government, local city/county government.
Before that I was in the United States Marine Corps, so in saying that I am a patriot for my country, not my government, my country. When I was in the Corps I didn't so much think that I was serving my country as much as I was serving the Corps, but I have always been a patriot of America, the Constitution, and FREEDOM. Although America has a wicked past, there has never been a country like her that has been more of a blessing to the world. America, out of all the nations of the world has created and launched more missions in the furthering the gospel throughout the world. The United States even provides a lot of foreign aide (tax payers money) to other nations.

Has far as capitalism goes, no one will ever sayit's perfect, BUT it's far superior than any form of economy out there. I don't know of any socialist-communist nation that has ever succeeded, but wherever capitalism is the economy has moved on like a three legged one eyed dog. The dog can still see and can still move, but not like it was designed too. Socialism-communism blinds the dog and puts a choke chain around the dogs neck.

Anyway, I don't like talking politics. I really don't care who agrees with me or not. I know the truth about things as the Lord reveals them to me......
Proverbs 3:5-6 says " Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths".

IRL i dont like Socialism, I prefer a more economic self suffiecency and isolationist economy

I do have to thank our regional allies and occupants for keeping this region half-alive. Of course, the United Christian Empires of the West should be considered dormant at this point as others like me are too busy to keep this region functioning normally. However, I am quite positive that one day this region shall bounce back and return to normal functionality once proper action from the regional government takes place.

Well said and i think i can say this comes from everyone from the old times
