"A spa?"

Corrie thinks for a moment. She's never been to a spa before. In fact, Corrie has troubles remembering the last time she spent a good few hours doing something so relaxing, something she didn't have to constantly think about. Office work has kept her busy the past few years, especially with the new trade agreements and projects she's had to manage. It seems like Trujillo really has his citizens' work cut out for them. This could be the perfect opportunity for her to do something on her own personal time. She was still being paid to be present in Limerick, so does it really hurt if she spends just a little bit of time doing a non-business activity?

Yet again, she still has never been to a spa before. Just the thought of someone as present and seen as her attending to a spa session makes her feel a bit uncomfortable. What if other people she knew was there? The chances were slim, but they weren't zero. Derrick may find out how she is spending her time, her very generously paid time, that is. It would be a bit inappropriate to use time in such a non-progressive manner. Should she go?

Screw it.

"That sounds nice, I'll check it out a bit later today!"

“Basically, anything that is in or around the hotel. It’s essentially a free period. I’d suggest the pool, spa, or the parks. There’s also a bar and Turkish Bath.”

Turning to Corrie, Finbarr nods his head. “Okay. Tell me if you like it, it’s very soothing.”

As the representatives of Flers, Krozland, and marlands continued discussing and talking about the plans before 5, the minister and Vice president would continue eating their breakfast. They would stop when they heard they had a whole day's worth of free time. They both looked at each other thinking about their decisions. "You know, a spa isnt going to be bad." The vice president commented as he looked at the minister and the guards. "What do you think? if we just dont talk about it...nobody is going to know!" The vice president chuckled as he rallied his entourage.

Mboto took notice of the roused VP. He stood up and was ready to escort the men to their rooms.

Baile, who has been standing quietly in the corner, next to a bowl of apples, walks towards the table and escorts Onez out.

Onez makes his way to the elevator alongside Baile and keeps his hand the pocket with his room key in it. He pesses he up button and waits.

The Vice president would notice Mboto standing up, he then turned back into his entourage. "So men, how about we learn about this place...with a little bit of fun!" the whole entourage chuckled as they would finish up everything, they then cheered for the VP as they put their fists up in a brotherly manner.

The elevator ride would be a silent one. After some fifteen seconds of silence, the ding interrupted the quiet. The door opened; Baile would walk to the room and ask for Onez’s key.

Terrabis-Seran wrote:

The events of the day following the announcement of the referendum was most concerning. The presence of a Germanic Nationalist group in opposition to the goals of the Seranian Nationalists was most concerning, especially when the referendum was so close. Worse yet, Lahnhof had begun moving peacekeeping forces in the adjacent territories where such groups were becoming an issue, particularly in their harassment of Seranian neighborhoods. However, the BUC and recent promotions of cultural unity through their complimenting diversity, these groups were expected to be the outlier, not the norm. However, nationalist radio broadcasts were spouting borderline slanderous messages that could galvanize the people and spread these sentiments, something that would be disastrous. An ace in the hole would have to be found, and Harald Hansch knew where to find it. After holding an impromptu and unannounced meeting with a very scared and confused Rob who was currently organizing the controversial referendum, a plan was set forth and yet another speech was crafted.

”Comrades and fellow countrymen, I come before you all to apologize for any miscommunication. While I am Seranian, I hoped you all would see that the BUC and the HCCA were to benefit all peoples of these lands, no matter their creed. But it seems a malicious few have been attempting to rile up unrest and sow distrust while we simply are trying to make compromise and see to it that these lands return to their rightful governance.

It pains me that anyone would see our existence as evil, wicked, and scheming, but it seefor ms that it was inevitable. People are resistant to change, even when it is to their benefit. This is still an issue that must be addressed, however, and I assure you there are measures being taken to ensure that their hooliganism does not impede the democratic processes. Should they de-radicalize and come forth diplomatically, they would know that they and their comrades would receive equal representation under Terrabis-Seran as they do in Lahnhof. But they did not seek diplomacy as an option, and instead seek to intimidate and menace us. I am glad that the kind government in Lahnhof has denounced this, for I do wish them to evermore remain friends though we may ask to depart. I do ask, however, that more immediate precautions are taken to ensure their actions do not threaten the democratic process. I know that our friends in Batannia have lent anti-terrorist units, and I would appreciate their support.

But fret not, for the situation is still very much under control. Do not be intimidated, my comrades. The democratic process shall proceed as intended. The referendums will not be delayed because of such a minor nuisance. I shall hope to see everyone vote in two days' time.”

Meanwhile, Germans sympathetic to the cause are selectively vetted and recruited to form a small elite platoon of men for the express purpose of riot control and shock operations. A similar process would be done with the less radical Keltics, though much larger to begin the establishment of a full regiment of slightly lesser quality. To equip this new “Freizug”, a set of standardized equipment was purchased from the most convenient supplier of all things armament related, with perhaps the slightest nudging from Harald, Felsinsel. Protective gas and ballistic masks would be purchased, the respirators beak-like to deflect physical blows and their bug-eye like lenses tinted red creating the most inhuman of looks, paired with helmets built with a high central crest to deflect downwards strikes and the sleek black polymer plates. Harsh white accents in a dazzle pattern would be used in conjunction with this, both to make them easier to see and harder to discern their true movement until its too late. Indeed, the solution to the intimidation would be, if the time comes, intimidation. They would be trained by the veteran elite of the White Rose to their standards of excellence, though intense as the training may be they would only be truly ready for action in a week, and up to the degree of excellence required a week more, lest they be thrown out of the frying pan and into the fire to temper them in live action.

He'd take the key out and give it to Baile

Mboto noticed two things:
1) He and the entourage were exact opposites. They were very rowdy, whereas Mboto viewed himself as serene.
2) The Rostorians should probably stay away from the sports bar.

Krozland wrote:He'd take the key out and give it to Baile

Taking the keys, Baile opened the door, allowing Onez to step inside.

Noticing the others leaving to tend to their business, Corrie took it upon herself to go to her room and get a little bit of work done before she headed over to the spa. She would feel a little less guilty about using her company time at the spa if she did some crucial documenting first. She planned to only be in her room for an hour or so before heading over.

ooc: what kinda spa we looking at? Like a normal day spa or a mineral spa, or is it more like a bath house or a sauna type thing? What are the rules to this spa, or will I find out when character goes there?

Once in his room, he closed the door and sprawled himself on his bed, letting out a large sigh afterwards. He closes his eyes and begins to let his mind drift.

"What if another war is around the corner?"
"Have we damaged our relations with Araseos already? Kampfs already watching us like hawks"

Thoughts come in and out his head one by one, and he opens his eyes and stares at the ceiling

Onez looks to his compter bag to the left and after 3 seconds, he rolls oveer to the bag and unzips it. He tkaes out the silver labtop in the bag and opens his email. He opens a new draft and starts typing on his keyboard.

 To whoever this may concern,

I don't have too much evidence to support myself here, but i don't trust EATU, the way Kampf lurks over the rest of the Limmerick nations raises suspicion. I don't kow if the others have this suspicion as well, but i fear what could come out of this next. Would Kampf convince other influential nations to come after us? Will this agreement sparn another war? Finbarr says that if we keep oursleves out of troube there will be no fight to worry about, but I don't believe that the rest of Araseos will keep quiet about this.

However, I can be wrong and i;m being paranoid again, but I advise the Defense Minister devise a Plan B just in case things go sour again. I also suggest getting the word to congress as well in order to get my thoughts across while i'm here. Redeveoping the army is one our most important acts nowadays, and i refuse to watch Krozland be caught off guard again.

He stops typing and sends the message to the defense ministeras well as Dentrez himself.

Corrie is in the middle of filling out her 20th transactional document for the embassy when she looks over to her open suitcase; it has been rummaged through with clothes haphazardly splotted across the floor. I should keep my things a bit more organized, she thinks to herself. I didn't think I would actually use the swimsuit I brought, but I suppose that's why I packed it... Just in case I really needed it...
Corrie looks at the clock and notices that only 40 minutes has passed. She was hoping to work for an hour, but her mind started to wander. After filling out so many documents in one sitting, it starts to become quite tedious.

"I think I'll leave now," whispered Corrie, so quietly she almost didn't even hear herself. She gathered her things. She proceeded to stuff the items, as well as her swimsuit, in a smaller bag. She would have to ask the receptionist where the spa was before she left. She opened the door and stepped out into the hallway and stopped, quickly turned around, and grabbed her key. Did she almost forget her room key?

I'm never like this, what is going on through my head? thought Corrie, perplexed by her behavior. Perhaps work was getting to deeply infested in her mind. She headed downstairs to the lobby.
