Whatever happened to King crab cashier, hey?

Polishes a glass with a smug knowing look.

...These bottles are on me...

Grabs a bottle and pours a double shot over ice.

Well, seems there aren't many whisky connoisseurs 'round these parts!

Shrugs and takes a sip.

If I recall correctly, there was a delicious helping of King crab cashier cakes a year ago. With your expert resurrective abilities, I await another crab special sometime in the future.

Would ya look at that! - One minute the Crab is long dead; part of the long digested meals of patrons past, one mention and a wickedly EVIL smile later and the Crab is back!

Fun fact: Broken shards of glass are the secret ingredient in most of our lunch specials. Gives 'em that extra-crunchy texture. Especially the soups.

Challenge accepted! Pretty sure I've never talked out ...

  • Those foam rubber blocks they put in couches as seat cushions.

  • The way a stray piece of cat hair feels when it gets under your tongue.

  • Whatever Elon Musk has launched into space this week.

  • The metal fish sculptures on my bedroom wall (I have 30 of them, thanks for asking--but we won't talk about that).

  • Why AA batteries are better than AAA.

  • The James Webb space telescope.

  • The list of topics I never talk about.

Gosh, doesn't that sound like a poll?

Evil is not grounds for burning. Evil is grounds for a promotion to management.

2 hours ago: The Republic of King crab cashier arrived from Balder.

Well, look who's back! Welcome back. Now get your register open. People have been waiting in line to pay their tabs for over a year. Well, one or two of them, anyway.

3 hours ago: The Flying Visit of Squadron Commander Lord Flashheart arrived from Europe.

And welcome back to you too!

Points to pretitle, before leaving with his bottle.

Sweeps the floor; finding a note left by Squadron Commander Lord Flashheart, amongst the dust, fluff, lint, pet hairs, and small coins...

▪︎ There are thousands of different types of crabs🦀 spread out across 400 distinct species, but none of them are too picky when it comes to their diet.

▪︎ Most crabs are meat-loving hunters and scavengers and like fish, 🦞crustaceans, 🦐shrimp, and other small 🐌🪱animals.

▪︎ They typically eat a variety of foods, including some non-meat options. In other words, some crabs are carnivorous, some are vegetarian, but most species are omnivorous.

▪︎ The Crab Diet:
Small fish
Crustaceans
Shrimp, Prawns & Krill
Dead Animals
Squid & Whelks
Small clams & Mussels
Seaweed & Algae...

*Usually stuff that can't move fast through being injured, dead, or plant-based; because crabs are slow moving, have bad eyesight, and aren't particularly good hunters.

▪︎ Algae is nutritious; helps control a crab’s molting, and helps remove toxins from a crab’s body. And perhaps best of all, from a crab’s perspective, algae cannot run away or fight back.

▪︎ King Crabs, which are larger crabs, have one big claw they use to crush their prey - They can eat clams and mussels, and even sea urchins. They prey on these animals using their sense of smell and taste while shifting across the seafloor.

...before noticing a small bucket full of algae and seaweed by the cash register that she hadn't noticed there before.

Like we need more loud noises and destruction around here. We get enough of that already from our customers.
