A battalion of military engineers in the Cedar Forest discovered a mass grave. The deceased include men, women and children. All were executed by the Sheikhun Armed Forces after a nearby town was razed in the battle. It is unknown if any in that town survived. All the deceased were taken by the military to be identified then given a Christian burial.

Rogue General Has Day In Court
Gen Vadim Prigozhin surrendered peacefully to the armed forces a few days ago. Gen Vadim was the commander responsible for the infamous throat slicing incident on international TV. His arrest sparked outcry among citizens who gathered outside the court house as his sentence will be read. His prosecution team stated he committed an atrocitiy where prisoners of war were executed. His defense team stated the fog of war defense and also cited examples of even worse atrocities committed by the Sheikhun armed forces

You will also have to undergo mandatory counseling. You also must do a total of eight hours of community service upon your release

You will be allowed to remain in the armed forces throughout your duration but will be temporarily suspended of your military duties. You will still be entitled to your pension. Case dismissed

Snap Elections In Knesset
An emergency snap election in The Knesset just wrapped up. The newly reorganized National Reformist Party swept nearly 75% of the seats with the rest split between the National Movement Party and the Labor Party.
The National Reformist Party promised to begin reconstruction and in a new proposed bill to have most of reconstruction finished in under five years.
Sheikhun refused to sign the treaty, instead deciding to act like a bunch of immature childs engaging in petty arguments.
Sheikhun is to sign the treaty in under 48 hours or else they will face total occupation from Osatauria and Hausklo. The signature of this treaty is paramount to world peace and since Sheikhun refuse to engage in keeping said peace, we need to force them.
The content of the treaty is as it follows.
First clause:
1. Sheikhun will sign an unconditional surrender.
2. Sheikhun's arsenal of WMDs will be disarmed and confiscated. It includes ICBMs, Nuclear bombs, chemical and biological weapons and everything else in the sort.
3. Sheikhun's army will be disarmed as well and be replaced by a smaller Defense Force. The newly formed Defense Force will be permitted to have some of the weapons from the stockpile to be adequately equipped..
Second clause:
1. Since Sheikhun lost the war and caused the most damage, they will be paying war reparations to Osatauria and Hausklo. It can be done in either outright monetary compensation or through trade. The seized stockpile of the Sheikhi Military not given to the new Defense Force will be given to Hausklo as War Reparations.
2. Any and all territories seized by either sides will be returned to the country where it's territory got seized. Any Hauskloan territory will be returned to Hausklo and vice versa.
3. An international buffer zone will be put around Sheikhun City to ensure stability in the country.
Third and last clause:
1. Sheikhun will be placed on an embargo to dissuade the nation to get any unallowed military equipment (Weapons, vehicles, hardware) (Material used to make weapins will be monitored). If Sheikhun wish to expand their military in any ways, they will need to ask authorization from Osatauria or Hausklo.
2. We will have the permission to send delegates to make sure that the Molotov Treaty is being respected and that no breaches of the clauses are made.

The Royal Army have been harrassed by the Sheikhun Army who have been attempting to forcefully have troops withdraw
This follows after the Sheikhun delegates angrily left the peace treaty, thus promoting an ultimatum to sign or be occupied
His Highness from Osatauria authorized a deployment of the armed forces near the waters of the country to be ready to occupy Sheikhun if they do not cease their actions of interference with military actions
He further stated he will allow for the Military Gendarmerie to serve arrest warrants for rogue Sheikhun military that are accused of war crimes and did remark
"If necessary I will bring the delegates back in handcuffs"
Osataurian troops remains in captured areas during the war, they will not leave until Sheikhun sign the treaty.
The threat that Sheikhun represents to world peace cannot be denied. The country is nothing more than a genocidal state and that treaty is here to ensure that they commits those horrors again. Gunderson is nothing more than a snake, someone that only thinks of his own interests.
That treaty is fair for the deaths and pain caused by Sheikhun in both Hausklo and Osatauria. We will make sure it is signed.
The ultimatum is in 48 hours, the moment those hours have passed, a total occupation will take place.

National Reformist Passes Reconstruction Bill
The National Reformist Party has passed a bill that introduces all policies for Reconstruction
The general breakdown is as such:
1.All forms of reparations paid by Sheikhun will be used for Reconstructing the county
2. The Armed Forces And Iron Dome will be updated
3. All Christian and Public schools will receive a boost in funding to undo the false beliefs of Islam that was levied against Christians
4. The emergency draft and conscription will remain in place. The military will provide more financial aid to prospective students
5. Reconstruction will occur in multiple phases and will be round the clock in order to repair our country from the actions of the invaders
Arrest Warrants To Be Served
Warrants For Arrest of Sheikhun generals that committed war crimes are being issued and circulated abroad.
The VBA and National Gendarmarie are actively searching for these fugitives at home and abroad so that they can face prosecution

Construction Making Strides
The rebuilding of Yerushalyim is making great strides with about a quarter of the city fully completed and a quarter nearly completed. The remaining half are midway through constitution
The environmental damage is estimated to be tremendous but reforestation is being implemented.
Several historical sites are damaged with a few beyond repair. An Anti Sheikhun rally was held near the destroyed tomb of the unknown solider where the Sheikhun flag was trampled on and burned by veterans. One had this to say
"Those barbarians destroyed one of our hallowed sites within our country! They can now comfortably celebrate Ramadan and have no repercussions! The only good Sheikhuner is a dead one!!"
The Knesset did promise to build a new tomb of the unknown to match the previous one.
The Kremlin meanwhile is still undergoing reconstruction with portions fully completed and others still rubble
Despite the damage done to the country, the people continue to push on

The United Church added the Martyred Monks to the Kalendar of Saints this morning. During the war, several monks were murdered by the Sheikhun armed forces. Their relics were transferred to Holy Innocents Monastery this morning in a procession. His Highness was among the families present as his uncle, Br. Jeremijah, was among the monks that died.

National Reformists Take Presidency
The National Reformist Party took the presidency in a snap election. They named Dmitry Prigozhin as the president. He took the Oath of office and of allegiance at sunrise in a small ceremony in the chapel of St. Mary, Joy Of All Who Sorrow within the Kremlin.
President Prigozhin is a member of the Spetsnaz and Spestgrupa Delta. A known nationalist and staunch loyalist, he pledged "To do what it takes to get our nation and people onto to bigger and better things"
His first move was to call on Sheikhun to abide by the rules of the proposed treaty that has been in deadlock
"You did not win, you lost everything except your egos. You even dared disrespect a holy man and our brave king as you smirk from your ivory towers built on the blood of our people. I will personally come over there and make you all little boys"
He stated he will attend the next meeting of the treaty with the permission of His Highness.
Islam Nonexistent
With the effort of education and a bolstering of funds to churches, missions and several groups such as the fraternal Society Of The Cedars, Islam is no longer a religion held by anyone in the nation. Women burned their hijabs and Qurans in celebration. One Church that was forced to become a mosque was gutted and verses of the Quran were removed from the walls.
Icons of Christ and the Saints were hung up and an impromptu mass was lead by the parish priest.

If you have taken a look at the order papers for the coming month you could've noticed something interesting. While the flow of business through the House of Deputies seems to be steady, the parliamentary committees and under-committees seem to be working like never before. Some, like the Parliamentary Committee on Constitutional Affairs, have a meeting scheduled every business day within the next month. Be it a hearing, a debate, a reading, or a vote, the 17 members of the Committee on Constitutional Affairs will be seeing a lot of each other. Similar can be said about the Under-Committee for Federalisation, Under-Committee for Financial Equality, and Parliamentary Committee for Civil Rights. The common denominator here? All of these committees are headed by members of the Left Unity coalition. It is essential for a bill draft to begin in the committees to make its way up to the grand debate chamber of the House of Deputies. Indeed, some bills will spend here multiple months, being considered by committee members, the public, and subsequently amended by its authors.
This comes after a notable State of the Republic address by President Scheuer who promised that her left-wing government will finally deliver long debate federalization of the Free Republic and set a goal before the next parliamentary election in order to hold local elections at the same time during, what would be, a super election year. Commentators are predicting this to either be a political triumph or a total catastrophe for the broad-left coalition. Scheuer's Green party still currently enjoys high support among voters, with current polling averages putting her party on 27% nationally. However, the Republicans are not far off at 22%, and the Federalists, who are junior partners in the current government, are far behind in third place at 11%. President Scheuer will be meeting with County Governors next week, with many speculating the topic of this meeting will be cooperation of the Counties during the process of federalization.

"Active immediately, the Mughal Brotherhood is no more. May Allah forgive them" were just some of the memorable statements made by Yousuf Sharif, the leader of the Mughal Front, during a press conference on the topic of the future of the governing coalition. Since 2021, the Pent Port Territory in west Islai has been governed by the Mughal Brotherhood with the support of the Leinsterian Republicans. The Mughal Brotherhood originally started as an informal name for the coalition of the right-wing autonomist Mughal Front and the far-right Islamist Muttahida party, but gradually grew into a broader assembly of local, self-proclaimed, sovereignist parties and NGOs. The Mughal Front and Muttahida both utilized the Mughal Brotherhood as a base of operations for voter mobilization and distribution of party propaganda.
As a reminder, in January of this year, the center-left opposition started a boycott of Pent Port Council proceedings, refusing to participate in both the legislature and its committees. This was in response to the Mughal Brotherhood government's lack of transparency during the process of ratifying the Communal Action Plan for FY 2024, accusing them of corruption and cooperation with companies of local aristocrats known for worker exploitation. The Communal Action Plan passed without the input and vote of the opposition. Despite this, disagreements quickly arose as Muttahida started accusing the Mughal Front of discriminating against communities in the north-east of the territory which are some of the most impoverished in the territory. Following a week-long fight in the media, Muttahida also withdrew from the Territorial Council, refusing to cooperate with the Mughal Front.
Following this development, First Minister Sharif announced all Mughal Front councilors will be giving their resignation and that he will be requesting a dissolution of the Council from the President, Roisin Scheuer. This means that Pent Port will be heading for early elections, only one year before the end of the Territorial Council's regular term.

The leader of of the populist and syncretic LIGUD party and leader of the opposition in Abcheg County, Ronan Annagan, once again made headlines this week after an interview on RTNL 3 in which he has been accused of spreading conspiracy theories on national television. Ronan Annagan has earned infamy in south NewLeinster for his repeated calls to violence against the Lutheran Conference of NewLeinster which, he claims, is acting as a backdoor for foreign powers to influence NewLeinsterian politics. A similar tone could be heard during this interview in which Mr. Annagan accused the Lutheran Conference of directly contributing to climate change. Claiming that members of the Lutheran Conference are known wealthy owners of plantations, mines, and oil fields in Hesperia. He went further to name the Archbishop of Molroch as being a patron of paramilitaries in 
Sheikhun through a company dealing in the Pineapple trade, of which he is a co-founder.
The NewLeinsterian Government has not issued a statement on this accusation, however, the Luther Conference has announced that they will be filing a lawsuit for defamation, hate speech and conspiracy.

This action plan signals the beginning of an extensive, one-month, journey for this region to improve and increase the efficiency of our roleplay moderation, choose a new regional map, and breathe some fresh air into the roleplay community.

With the ratification of the 3rd Constitution of the Red Wolf Alliance on 11 February, we have ended one era and started another one. With the commencement of the new Constitution as the new fundamental legal document of the region, we have effectively started the process of region-building, or rebuilding depending on how you look at it. Most of the legislation ratified under the 2nd Constitution still continues to hold legal validity in the sense of interim law which allows us a smooth transition into the new system. When it comes to the Department of Regional Affairs, this means that we are still working under the long-forgotten Roleplay Committee (Devolution) Act, which was ratified 5 years ago (!), and secondary legislation created under its jurisdiction. As part of my program for government, which I presented during my campaign, I made a promise to reform the state of roleplay. This action plan is the first step of this process.
This action plan shall serve as an outline for the process of roleplay reform, restructuring, and revitalization. My Department with me at the forefront will do our best to stick to the outlined schedule and I hope to see constructive input from the public as we go along.

Public Consultations on Regional Map - Start (24 March 2024)
The Department of Regional Affairs (DoRA) shall publish the first draft of the new Regional Map proposal and open a five-day period of public consultations. During this stage, citizens may give their opinion, and give feedback on the state of the map. Most importantly, and in line with promises made during the campaign, citizens will have the right to request a transfer of their claim from the old map onto the new map. How this transfer will be performed is up to the discretion of the SoRA.
Public Consultation on Regional Map - End (29 March 2024)
The DoRA will compile the opinions and proposals given during the consultation period and consider them. This starts period of 14 days for the DoRA to publish the final version of the Regional Map (Deadline: 12 April 2024).
Public Consultation on Map Claim Regulations - Start (29 March 2024)
The DoRA will publish its first draft of the Map Claim Regulations which shall outline the territory-claiming process and criteria for granting land. Members of the public shall have five days to discuss the draft, express their opinions, and give proposals.
Roleplay Bill proposed (Week 1 of April 2024)
The Secretary of Regional Affairs (SoRA) will submit the Roleplay Bill to the Directorate. The Bill shall establish the Sector for Roleplay as the chief roleplay moderation body in the region, outline the responsibilities and powers of the body, as well as make provisions on the decision-making process when it comes to roleplay moderation.
Public Consultation on Map Claim Regulations - End (3 April 2024)
The DoRA will compile the opinions and proposals given during the consultation period and consider them. This starts a period of 14 days for the DoRA to publish the final regulations on map claiming (Deadline: 17 April 2024).
Call for Deputy Secretary for Roleplay and assistant(s) (1-2 days after passage of Roleplay Bill)
As soon as the Roleplay Bill finishes its debate in the Alliance Council and is ratified by the Directorate, the SoRA will issue a call for candidates for the position of Deputy Secretary for Roleplay and assistant staff.

The SoRA will issue a Directive appointing the first Deputy Secretary for Roleplay, effectively devolving authority over roleplay to the new Sector for Roleplay.

The DoRA shall publish and put into place the new Regional Map as proposed and amended.

The DoRA shall publish and and put into action the regulations pertaining to map claims. Map claim requests shall be open the same day.

Spring awakening
Red Wolf Alliance - Following the ratification of the 3rd Constitution and the subsequent period of rebuilding and activity within the Directorate, the region once again fell into a late-winter slumber which caught many by surprise. Indeed, while the Directorate has mostly finished its process of reconstruction and ratified its rules of operation, the Alliance Council has been stuck in the debate period of its rules for over a month. In fact, many of the departments and bodies headed by colleagues of the General Secretary and his party are experiencing the same. The World Assembly Delegate, although not unusual for them, has also not moved an inch since the ratification of the new constitution. The Department of Foreign Affairs has also become dormant after a brief period of positive development regarding the renewal of diplomatic relations between the Red Wolf Alliance and The Democratic Republic. An outlier in this situation is the Secretary of Immigration and Recruitment Madison and Wisconsin, although many may point out that he is mostly notionally a member of the New Front and seems to be acting mostly independently of the party.
Nonetheless, the work of the SoIR has found fertile ground in mid-March and the region has notably increased both its residency size and its citizen count. While we have yet to see any of these new citizens become active and contributing members of our society, the hard work of the Secretary can not go unnoticed. This was, however, only the start of a much bigger awakening that came with the warmer weather and greener scenery this month. And nowhere is this more prominent than in the Department of Regional Affairs which has this month published the Roleplay Revitalization Action Plan - a document outlining the first stage of the process of roleplay reconstruction and reform in the region. The Action Plan outlines the process of choosing a new map and implementing new guidelines on the process of map spot claiming. Even more importantly, the Action Plan announced the implementation of a Roleplay Act which would replace the handful of regional laws regulating roleplay that have been inherited from the old system. While the public is yet to see the contents of the actual bill, and we are still far away from it being tabled within the Directorate, this action plan and the SoRA's ambitions are a very welcome change in the inactivity of the Directorate.
The Democratic Republic - Many within our region were delighted by the news coming from The Democratic Republic (TDR) earlier in February about the change of power which as a consequence also brought a change of TDR's opinion of the RWA. The two regions have been long-time allies, TDR also having been founded by a former citizen of the RWA. However, this long relationship didn't come without its ups and downs. The relationship between the two regions sometimes changes three or four times within a calendar year. So why were these news from TDR such a big deal within the Red Wolf Alliance?
Well, first and foremost, it was a good sign for the foreign policy of a region that is in its most vulnerable state - that being a constitutional convention and complete restructuring of the region. The Red Wolf Alliance just came out of a year-long period of deterioration and no democratic government. Any help we could've gotten would've been good, but getting an offer of peace and friendship from a former, long-time ally is something we could've only dreamed of. Very quickly the Directorate started coordinating with the new leadership of TDR and, in a perfect world, that would've been the end of it. However, very soon after the ratification of the 3rd Constitution, something went wrong.
On February 17th, news broke of a struggle brewing within TDR. The newly elected leader, Pandor, was just banned following a heated debate with the regional elders. What our foreign reporters could gather was that the senior members of TDR did not like how much political power Pandor held on how he was using it. Pandor allegedly enforced a crackdown on the opposition, banning some and forcing others to leave due to hostility. This hostile environment, understandably, did not sit right with the founder of The Democratic Republic, America JB. To make things more complicated, Pandor is a popular leader. Many, especially newer citizens, saw him as a reformist who was getting things done.
At the time of writing, Pandor is still banned and, for now, the struggle has been squashed. However, not without consequences. Following the great purge, the region was left governmentless and what followed was a two-month-long period of deterioration of TDR's institutions and citizenship count. Our respondents from the region report very low activity and apparent dissatisfaction with the regional elders who took control. In many ways, TDR is now going through what the RWA was going through just a year ago. A regional split, inactivity, and failure of elders to take back control and steer the region away from failure. Many in TDR are now calling it a "fringe region". Seeing TDR's failure to cope with this post-struggle turmoil, the eyes are now also on the RWA. What is the Red Wolf Alliance doing and why are they not here for their ally? In a sense, the RWA and TDR are family. Both came from the same community and same friend group. Despite our disagreements in history, we are still relatives. It will be a great failure of our foreign policy if we leave TDR to die without a voice being heard.
