Plans To Build Big Chugnus Statue With Mounted CIWS System In Aclaria Approved
After multiple proposals have been made, the ministry of defense has approved the construction of a 40-foot tall statue of Big Chungus in the capital city Aclaria outside the Higher Parliament. The Big Chungus statue is to be fitted with a single Twilight CIWS, manufactured in Floyssauu and capable of handling up to 22 targets at once and can unload 4000 rounds in a minute. This project will take up 1/3 of the government's budget and is definitely a good use of Floysarian taxpayer's money.

Remains Of Warships Salvaged, Airships Deemed Viable Once Again
Multiple salvage operations were conducted this week in St. Williams harbor to scrap metal from wreckages left after the 2nd Revolutionary USA war. The hulls of the IFN Pegasus and Ticonderoga, as well as the superstructure and smaller parts from the IFN Amphitrite, were retrieved. The metal has been approved to be used for 2 new airships with extremely similar designs to the IFN Trident, which was also lost in the early stages of the 2nd war. Capable of crossing the Estrian ocean from Floyssauu to mainland Notteterra in a single day, the airships also serve as flying aircraft carriers. The Twilight CIWS used in the Big Chungus statue outside the higher parliament is to be implemented in the design of the airships.
Plans For UDB Maritime Fleet Entering Final Stages
The UDB Maritime Fleet, currently comprised of warships from Slavion and Floyssauu is entering the final stages of planning. The flagship, the RNS Unity of Slavion is a carrier capable of holding up to 80 planes at once. The rendezvous point and home port have been decided but have not been revealed yet.

A spokesperson for Eclipse Beverage Corporation announced today that the company would soon be releasing a new product, titled BrewDrop. "We want to deliver satisfaction to our customers, which is why on the day BrewDrop launches, we will be announcing a limited-time offer that will last for only that day. Legal Team For Eclipse Co Pushing For New Product Name To Be Changed
After Provident Nation barred the registration of BrewDrop due to the fact that the name was awfully similar to DewDrop, a spokesperson from Eclipse Beverages Corporation has finally admitted that the name was indeed "inspired" by the DewDrop name. The Legal Team of Eclipse Co began pushing for the name of the product to be changed at the Eclipse Headquarters, resulting in 60 percent of the legal team being fired. After this news the remaining legal team struck a deal with multiple data entry specialists on the third floor and blockaded the second floor, preventing the marketing team and some other teams from freely moving around. What resulted was a clash with injuries after a window was broken and multiple members of the marketing team were chucked out onto the concrete below. Bartoloměj Pospíšil was rushed to a nearby hospital after suffering severe injuries and is currently in critical care.
The self-named"Name Change Union," comprised of the Legal Team and the Data Entry Specialists have complete control over the third and second floors and are threatening to do an offensive strike and take control of the first floor. Many marketing team members status are unknown, and rumors are spreading that they are dead. A negotiator hired by Eclipse Co is currently attempting to make a compromise with the Name Change Union, but to no avail.

Government negotiations continue, main party leaders consider grand coalition to break deadlock
One month after the 2021 elections and two weeks after the sitting of the new Congress, the government formation process continues to drag on seemingly without end. The Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), which garnered the most votes in the election, has remained opposed to reforming the coalition with the center-right Christian People's Party (CVP), while also seemingly unwilling to form a coalition with the center-left VSP-ODP Union. Talks between all three parties has dragged out for nearly two weeks now.
This morning, there may be hope that a coalition could be found. LDP Leader Judith Eckstein announced at a press conference the possibility of a three-power coalition to avoid a second election this year, where the LDP, CVP, and Union would all agree to a single Broad Front government. CVP leader and former Chancellor Hermann Wolter, who previously had voiced support of a coalition with the more right-wing Conservative Nationalist Party (KNP), did not comment on the possibility of a Grand Coalition, although Union leaders Gunther Beyersdorf and Alexandra Kopp voiced their approval conditional on several government initiatives. Eckstein's statement on a three-power agreement was marred by opposition by the more right-wing liberals in her party, which are more willing to approach the CVP once again for a coalition.
KNP leader Julian Scheer has continued to push for a coalition with the CVP, although such an alliance would not command a majority of the Congress. Meanwhile, the Board of Directors for the Worker's Party (AP) has begun deliberation to potentially join the Union to create a united left-wing party, despite opposition from Party Leader Konrad Tollemacht, who continues to claim (without evidence) the previous election was fraudulent.
Army General Dietmar rejects possibility of foreign military intervention
Stalstattan nationalists hoping to expand the nation's power and prestige into foreign affairs were disappointed this morning as Brigadier General Rupprecht Dietmar, the Army representative to the Joint Chiefs of Staff, stated flatly that the nation's military power was insufficient to permit a worldwide presence. Dietmar however refused to cast blame on the government and instead argued that Stalstatt had 'never been a military power sufficient to dictate international policy,' however he stopped short when asked if a military build-up would change that. Dietmar voiced his support for the Navy Bill 2030, which was passed last year and has resulted in the construction of new warships to expand the capabilities of the Imperial Navy into blue-water status.
Dietmar, who's nephew is one of the newly elected members of the Reichstag, also spoke in favor of a similar military bills for the army and air force to expand their capabilities as well, but did not elaborate further when asked if it should be a priority for the new government once it is sworn in.

Due to the recent crisis in Hydrair, SolisJet is trying to purchase the airline and form the SolisJet Foundation. Meanwhile Hydrair is losing it against their new problem.
2 Hydrair A321Neo-LRs collided in the ground, while one was trying to park and the other was trying to do the standard pushback procedure to exit their gate. Both planes have been damaged in the winglets, and the costs to repair are very high.

A Recap
A century ago Floyssauu launched its first satellite, one that circled the Earth for 7 years and was decommissioned in 2029. Countless hours of research allowed for innovation that improved the satellites that would come.
It has been over 2 decades since the first Floysarian space module docked with a Nuevo Helios space module forming the UDB Space Station. This was a huge step forward in our exploration of space. 17 years ago the last module, a Nuevo Helios one, docked with the Integrated Truss Structure. Astronauts have been rotated time and time again, but we are only beginning to push forward in the final frontier.
What We Have Planned For The Future
We are looking for further improvement on the old UDB Space Station, the renovation of modules has been approved, and a space launch in 2118 is set to modernize the MD1 module and the Integrated Truss Structure.
The lack of praise for Lein, and more importantly Sernie, in the Red Wolf Alliance’s RMB is disturbing me.

It's a quiet morning, the IFN Lancaster were getting ready to rendezvous near Port Williams after being dry docked for nearly 2 years. Next to the IFN Lancaster is a smaller commercial ship, with an auxiliary ship, the IFN Olympus positioned across the harbor. The Olympus was captained by Podplukovník Vojtěch Kubíček, for nearly 6 years.
9 Hours, 46 Minutes, And 32 Seconds, Trident Standard Time
An explosion tears through the bow of the Olympus, disrupting the silence. Shrapnel is thrown onto the harbor and into the neighboring ships, killing a nadrotmistr on the Lancaster. The Olympus begins to take on water. As she begins to lists starboard, another series of explosions would rip through her hull, giving no time for the crew to evacuate. The entire stern has been blown to pieces, with metal lodged into the ships and buildings nearby. What remains floating capsizes, but parts of the superstructure remain afloat in the shallow harbor.
Another explosion obliterated the bridge, only seconds after she settled in the water. As if the fires were mocking us.
