The operation was months in the preparation for the gathering of the needed forces both living or otherwise. The force was vanguarded by small teams that would as their main missions; they would target the main arteries of transportation, key military location and, possible locations of heads of state/military. They would disrupt the movement of military formations. The destruction of equipment in bases.

While behind this advance force the main concatenation of Sylvania's army would sweep in the wake of the vanguard. With aims to reach the cities Mashhad and Zahedan both in striking distance of the boarders and holding airports. As well as the city of Birjand to secure the three closest cities with the aim to use the rail system leaving out of Mashhad to when they where ready another vanguard force into the capital of Iran the city Tehran.

The fighting in the boarder cities was quick in finishing as terror and confusion ran rampant among the defenders.

When the first day dawned after the start of the conflict Mashhad and, Birjand would be reported as under Sylvanian occupation. A good start to the day.

We had hopped on a train from Semnan that was out going to Tehran from the there we had to leave from the yard into the city. As it stands our force is an ad Hoc mix between the clans and the axillaries Tepes fielded numbering single company a fourth being members of both Tepes and Von Carstien. The last bit of news we heard was that forces in both Mashhad and Birjand had been pushing further west. Captain Valerianovich has been in communication with Bishop Company who will be arriving behind us coming form the trains leaving Mashhad. Valerianovich believes they'll get more of a welcoming committee from the lranian forces seeing as no doubt the enemy has heard of Mashhad falling.

operations into Zahnedan have finished and last reports that came through the grape vine they had now reached all the way to Kerman. I feel sorry for those poor fellows they have to deal with the Mad attack dog of the Von Cartiens, why they keep Konrad alive instead of staking and leaving him for the sun I will never know. All in all, form what I have heard the war is going great at least until they start running for the mountains it'll be tedious to root them out of those hiding places.

keep it going to write up the finale victory seeing as all I have been doing is a sort of overview of the conflict rather than focusing on battles happening in certain places.

Over the past number of months, the pace and scale of Britain's mission in China had been increasing rapidly. Not only was it imperative to organise cooperation between local Chinese leaders to lay the foundations of a new Chinese state, but supplying them with modern weapons, technology and supplies that had been sorely lacking was also at the top of the missions list of priorities. Since Vaikens unexpected involvement in China, it was becoming apparent that he was capable of doing what the Foreign Office could not, despite the massive pool of resources at its disposal. One man, one vision and more than a billion people.

Originally, the mission was intent on establishing a base of operations from which to establish a democratic Chinese state. On paper, and perhaps in London, it sounded like a noble goal, but Vaiken, among others, knew it betrayed an uncharacteristic lack of understanding of the Chinese way of life. While the Empire may have successfully established functioning parliamentary democracies in Africa and India, those were places where there were historical roots directly linked to Empire and Commonwealth, along with people familiar with the ideals of democracy and freedom. China was not the same, however. People had been far more used to the concept of serving the state above all else, particularly thanks to over a hundred years of rule by the CCP. While the concept of such a state may be foreign to the people of Britain and the Empire, where democracy and freedom exist exponentially--despite being under threat--it was not too foreign to Vaiken and the... 'interest group' that he had assumed a leading role of.

No, Vaiken had prepared a visit to China for one reason--salvage the British mission in China before it would otherwise have inevitably failed. It didn't take long after he arrived for him to meet with the leaders who had already agreed to the project. Meng Shun, who was in fact meant to be overseeing the mission, had been kept in the dark over what Vaiken was planning with these leaders, but whatever it was he said had them on board, since when she finally confronted Vaiken at the end of one of his meetings, everyone was shaking eachother's hands whereas before they had simply smiled and left the room.

He wasn't out of surprises yet however. In their last meeting, Vaiken had 'ordered' the local leaders to send him their militia forces where he would consolidate them in Beijing. Soon enough, an equal force of British troops had arrived in Beijing, after Vaiken called in a favour with the Governor of Singapore. From the balcony of the Tiananmen Gate tower looking over the square, Vaiken stood flanked by the cooperative Chinese leaders, as well as the acting commanders of their militias. In a scene straight out of what would once have been a CCP propaganda film, they watched with pride as Chinese and British forces marched along side each other, with Vaiken taking the salute. The British uniforms were unmistakable, however, while the militia uniforms were made up of whatever was practical for their wearers, it appeared that there was a few groups wearing some of the old PRC uniforms

The Foreign Office may not have been pleased by Vaikens takeover of their operation, but it appeared that everything that happened had impressed both the media and the Foreign Secretary that the Prime Minister elected not to take any action to halt his efforts. It would seem that from now on, Vaiken would see to it that China became what it should have already been...

As to make it clear that I do actually care about this election, I'll once again share my campaign's main points along some political banter regarding the plans of the Unovia Administration should they win once again.

-The establishment of a permanent regional “housekeeping” nation for the preservation of important factbooks.

-A mass cleaning of WFE attached factbooks and a cleaning of the region’s appearance overall (such as: the reestablishment of legitimate weekly quotes)

-A constitutional convention to allow for the proposal of new amendments or mere corrections or clarifications to the original document.

Now, onto the interesting part that I feel more of a need to write about. While the Reclamation Party's campaign alongside Unovia's campaign share many similar points, I must alert viewers to one of Unovia's most recent statements regarding the future of the region: Point #5, Modernization, "5. FNU Election Laws". While I don't want to ride on my own coattails, I do find it hilarious that legislation I wrote is having to be used as a campaign point. I find it even more humorous considering that many of those documents had a preliminary vote taken, and if I do recall, one of them was put into active service despite not being the finalized copy. Pushing 'proposals' for acts into actual law is a silly misstep, and while one could find me at fault for this, I was never contacted by the Administration regarding a formalized version of my acts.

Secondarily is the Administration's plans regarding Roleplay. I'll address the points Saint made since Unovia's largely echo his (which makes sense).

(The child steps on a twig. Almost immediately, the camera begins to move slowly upwards, centring the camera on the three. The people stop dead in their tracks, breathing even more heavily than before. The camera starts to creep closer to the three people, steadily and slowly. They gingerly take a step back, as if in response, huddled together, yet the camera zooms ever faster. The camera begins to jolt up and down, as if taking steps, A walking pace, then jogging pace, to a running pace. The sound of metallic scraping and electronic motors grows up to a near deafening level, as each jolt of the camera brings a thud. The three begin to run, but the child slips and falls. A piercing scream erupts from the child, a cry of pure terror)

Female: (static noises) Shut it down! Shut it down!

(Suddenly, the camera turns black, all sounds cease.)

Almost immediately after the beginning of the war, hundreds of missiles were launched from emplacements in the Pyrenees, attacking air bases and supply lines. The plan was simple - to hold the line and destroy any troops who dared cross the border. The French Air Force took to the air, with thousands of fighters defending airspace and mitigating aerial attacks. Artillery emplacements rained down shells primarily on air bases, with some hitting military emplacements in northern Spain.

It was clear from the start that the Iberian military was attempting a mechanised blitz via the roads, and the New French military had the counter ready. Across the entire front, temporary airstrips were set up from civilian airports, and a fallback line of reserve troops was assembled from coast to coast around Toulouse. Over 100,000 troops were pulled from around France and its overseas territories for support, with mass mobilisation occurring soon after.

In space, the battle was beginning. The French Space Force began to take off into low Earth orbit, mostly focused on ensuring the Iberian crafts don't attack French soil. The navy was deployed, focusing on the Bay of Biscay and defending the coastline from any naval manoeuvres. Submarines and corvettes patrolled, attacking any Iberian ships that wandered into the Bay. However, as with the Space Force, the emphasis was on defence and not offence.

Overall Due to the disorganization of French troops caused by the jamming from the AEW&C aircraft, the ground forces saw success in their advance. Though there was upsets caused by the anti-tank weapons these forces were engaged by fast moving IFVs as well as the escorting helicopters. Infantry also moving with the formations also began engaging non-armoured units.
French Artillery and rockets also became subject to counter-fire from Iberia's own artillery both rocket and SPG based, utilizing COBRAs to track the trajectories of the weapons.
On south coast the forces advanced quickly, surrounding Perpignan, only striking critical infrastructure, the bulk of the divisons forces moving north towards Narbonne and west along the D117 and N116. In the west the Iberians were already crossing the Bidasoa river, quickly surrounding Hendaye before moving on towards Saint-Jean-de-Luz, another force moving southeast.
The central forces were facing less of a good time however, they took losses but due to the actions of the Mountaineers they were lower than they'd be without them. The main attack forces moved on the N20 and N134, advancing towards Toulouse, remaining mobile as the mountaineers fended off most attacks, attempting to keep the French stuck with mortar fire and their own firepower.

The number of French Aircraft in the air proved to be their own undoing. Long had passed the days of several hundred aircraft dogfights. Mobile and stationary SAMs fired into the air, striking at the French Aircraft finding great success due to their heavy numbers.
The French missile strikes on Iberian air bases proved to be less than effective due not just the preparedness and the head start but also SAM sites near the front but C-RAM systems located at the bases. Like the ground forces the air force also began to present the French with attacks on their artillery and rockets with cruise missiles launched from ADFX-02s.

With the French focus on the Bay of Biscay with presumably a large force from their navy the Strait of Gibraltar and its surrounding areas were to become a no man's land for French ships, several aircraft patrolling the area with a focus on ASW and early warning for the navy.

The Gulf of Lion and its naval forces would also begin to be subject to attacks by not just the odd submarines but also air raids, 35 aircraft at a time from the Balearic Islands.
The Iberian Naval forces in the Mediterranean,
3 Aquila-class destroyers, 5 Madrid-class destroyers and 12 Navarra-class frigates with support from 15 Pizarro-class corvettes and 6 submarines began to disembark from postings in the Balearic Islands towards the the outer area of the Gulf of Lion.

The majority of the Solar Navy was already located in Sol, specifically above Iberia and its holdings. Like the French they were only present just in case either side escalated to Space combat, something the Iberians didn't want due to its destructive potential towards the planet as a whole.

If the only territory you have is on the Surface of Earth, then you do not need to submit another application. This atlas is only for orbital habitats and celestial bodies other than Earth that are in the Solar System.
