Progressiveness isn't just about gender equality, it is about having progressive elected leaders. We should always elect the most suitable person for a position, if its a woman or a man it doesn't matter.
True, but its the Potenzian media that says that she "made history" for being the first female P.M, so apparently they care more about the gender than anything else, really. Meanwhile, we've already had 3 female P.M, and our media never said they made history. And we are the "bad" dictatorship, and Potenzia is a progressive, liberal democracy.
Once again, I understand your concern but, Having female leaders does not exclude anything, they can be just as brutal dictators as the stereotypical image of a male dictator. Certainly it is less seen, but you are a good example of that. That Pilar Zuazo made history is a certainty as she is indeed the first female prime-minister of Potenzia and that's the whole message. It doesn't make a nation more progressive by electing a female leader just because thay are a female. As their were better options before her, they were propably chosen, in this case they were male.
Did you use a website or something to generate elections?
where did the Labour and independent party came from? and who voted for them
Vantier changes leaders more than I change my underwear. (So.. like once a week..)
Vantier, Sjevre, Kingdom of the Indus, Romanum et Britannia Minor, and 1 otherTrobadork
wait a minute...
Potenzia has only had 9 prime ministers as Parliament is a fairly new concept in our country. Every PM since the mid-19th century has been appointed by the reigning monarch. Emperor Alán’s father was/is very progressive, ended capital punishment and legalised polygamy.
I actually calculated them on my own somewhat based on the endorsements from the region.
Sjevre, Romanum et Britannia Minor, and Trobadork
Y’all didn’t vote for anything, you “endorsed” your parties and I based the votes from that but I also decided to add some things once I started to do more research.
I added the Labour Party, which somewhat contrasts the current Monarchist Party.
Monarchist is mostly conservative, does not believe in minimum wage, pro-privatisation, low taxation, but primarily stand with the Monarch in all decisions.
Labour Party:
“Stronger together.” A socialist party whose principles include a guaranteed minimum standard of living for everyone, nationalisation of industry, and heavy taxation of large incomes and of wealth to fund higher spending.
Independent:
“We do what we want.” Not affiliated with any party.
you mean
Yea true. Nice to see how our RP reflects the IRL world in several ways. [cept for the space stuff] But if women leaders are your identifying principle for progressiveness, I would like to tell you this is a world where Margaret Thatcher exists XD.
We’ve had several ruling queens but Parliament wasn’t implemented until the late 1800s and our last monarchs and parliaments have only appointed men. We also don’t have term limits.
So for the worldvision contest I make up a fake Artist and name for a real song so it's like someone from my nation made it?
Yes, exactly. If you want to participate please submit it soon.
How do i submit it?
Never mind. Done.
RP:
After the recent reforms, subjects in the colonies who have adapted to German culture can become proper German citizens.
IC: finally something more decent
A rogue surgeon motivated by the people dying in the streets around the hospital has killed President Benovedez using a severe poison extracted from the Rutanian viper. The national guard has broken apart and the government has been rendered useless.
