Good to hear that your symptoms have subsided.

Pretty sure the answer is no. You'll have to make a new nation and join the WA with it.

Personally I'm quite fond of being able to express my opinions without being oppressed, and being able to choose the people who will govern me. I think those things are essential for building a nation that actually does have a durable, sustainable economy, rather than a house of cards that collapses when one dictator loses power to another.

You can already form your own regions, not really sure what that would add.

I'll pass.

Well, one must be careful not to take this line of reasoning too far. Because the logical extreme of this idea is "if killing a person improves the lives of others, that's not murder, it's justice!"

People should be free to live as they choose and to earn what they can, within reasonable limits. Well-reasoned, judicious regulation, coupled with local cooperation and real, meaningful law enforcement and judicial transparency, can allow an economy that prioritizes what is actually good and valuable, while not unduly burdening the freedom of the people.

First off my people have freedom and civil rights I just think its unneeded to a high extent and they have the right to vote and they aren't oppressed they have the right to express their own religion and nationality like the apparently native Violetists in my country that worship the god violet?

Get a new email and change the field in your settings. Pretty simple.

I did not say you didn't have those things (frankly, I didn't check.) instead, although I used flowery terms, what I said was, "No, a good economy isn't all you need, because a good economy with bad civil and political rights is unstable and prone to becoming a bad economy, sometimes very fast."

Dictatorships and so-called "managed" democracy are shams that pretend to offer stability, but actually create weak institutions dependent on oppression and control, not on commitment and virtue.

Prussia Republican Kingdom wrote:I stand by this statement; The German Kaiserreich needs to return to modern-day, would be best considering the concurrent state of the world.

We cannot return to the era of the hero-king. We have already learned that every king, no matter how virtuous, is only human. There can be no coming back from that revelation.

Dictatorship can work once, if you get lucky and have a truly virtuous person in charge. It can even work twice, if that virtuous person is very careful about who succeeds them.

But sooner or later, Commodus succeeds Marcus Aurelius, and then you have bad men with unchecked power, which is always worse than bad men with checks and balances. Given how terrible a cost such men can exact on their nation, I would rather stick with a system that provides tools to keep the bad in check, even if it means accepting that the absolute highest theoretically possible good is not within reach some of the time.

Better to keep your storehouses full in times of plenty so you don't starve in times of famine, no?

Thanks guys I'm gonna make a brand new country on my other phone so that I can finally join the WA.

wow third safest

Well I'm not really gonna give someone a lesson on how life works since it's your choice and not mine.

Honestly base 10 is stupid, as base 12 can be divided way better, as it can by divided by 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 12, whilst 10 can be only divided by 1, 2, 5 and 10.
