I now have a dispatch about the aerial bombs used by Urbania’s fighter planes.
Short: 100kg MU-AÉ26A1
“General-purpose bomb carried by a military aircraft. Compared to contemporary designs, these bombs are rather long with an unusual shape. It makes use of a thin plastic nose fully encasing the fuse of the bomb to provide improved aerodynamics, and an aluminum cylindrical tail with lengthwise vents in place of fins to provide stability. The body of the bomb is very skinny and long, resembling a Sears-Haack body for minimum drag, even at supersonic speed. Because of the relatively fragile body, the fuse cannot be delayed and will detonate instantly on impact, as otherwise the bomb would not survive an impact.
The Urbani Air Force uses these for a multitude of purposes. Interdiction, Close Air Support, SEAD, and destruction of abandoned equipment are the most common uses. Most often they are mounted to fighter aircraft.
During tests, the type was found to be highly effective versus armored vehicles within 5 meters.
MU-AÉ26As are fit with an explosive charge equivalent to 100kg of TNT. This does not refer to the weight of the entire unit.
The type has provisions to mount a rocket booster in place of the tail.”

The type has provisions to mount a tail with all-moving fins, lift devices to the body, and a data-link center for guidance. This configuration is currently only compatible with the RDR24 targeting system.”
